Property nicely located in the Tenderloin. The room was very nice, large, clean & comfy...well appointed. We had a corner room with a balcony, nice breezes & neighborhood view. Surprisingly quiet Staff were super friendly, polite & professional...also very accommodating. Nice parking choices on site...a safer feeling than most properties that aren't valet. Property looks nice, recently remodeled...clean and well kept. Nice breakfast area as well. Overall, a terrific find...& we've stayed in many in the city.
Not a thing, really.

First things first, a secured on site parking. That was the biggest positive of this property. Other than that the staff was extremely kind and nice although they didn’t have to do too much as I never made any unnecessary requests. I opted for early check in as I checked in at around 12 pm instead of the conventional 3 pm check in. I was charged $35 which I think is cheap comparatively.
Really not anything much to dislike at the property. The reviews I read about this place regarding the homeless people roaming around is true but I didn’t feel too much odd. May be I was prepared with all the reviews and precautions from my end.

Best Western has a standard and this hotel met that standard. Mr room was comfortable and the facilities were very good It's location was very good for access around the city
If it had a downside it was one which applies to much of San Francisco - its homeless person situation. It is appalling on every level including its impact on the image for the city. To walk out of your hotel and have to step over a prostrate person on the sidewalk is not a pleasant experience. No fault of the hotel of course, but it has an impact.

We stayed for 10 days towards the end of June 2023. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast daily was very nice and the free parking was appreciated. We took public transportation most of the time, and the hotel is very well situated for getting to our destinations efficiently. Our stay was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel for its convenience and staff and management. Yes I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The one downside to this stay was the homeless population that was on the streets around the hotel. They were openly doing drugs as you would walk down the street. They were considerate enough that when our child was present, they would warn people down the street that there was a child, and some of the people would actually put away their drug paraphernalia. The hotel, of course, has no control over the problem, but they manage it extremely well, making sure that the homeless population does not come on the hotel property. It was very well done. I was very appreciative knowing that once I reached the hotel, I did not have to worry about the homeless population.

Breakfast was superb. Each day a different style of eggs, and always a hard boiled egg in the fridge, each day different pastries, yoghurt, fruit, pancakes, ... And an excellent breakfast service! Nice and clean rooms, very comfortable, lovely smelling soap, shampoo and conditioner. Free parking definitely is a plus.
The hotel itself was perfect, the neighborhood it is located in, not so. It is full of homeless people, if you go anywhere by foot, you have to pass quite a few of them (20, 30, 40, 50,... depending on where your going). It is not a nice sight when they are openly using all kinds of drugs and syringes are lying on the street. The streets also really stink, like dirty restrooms.

It is an excellent location in terms of access to the city- and it has parking which is rare in this part of town! The room was totally clean and the staff was awesome.
Unfortunately, the chaos of the tenderloin has just surrounded this property, making it hard to walk in the immediate area. I just ended up taking a cab home at night to get through it all…it’s a really good hotel whose owners are clearly doing a good job, in a sort of rough area.

Prime location. Staff was good. Room was clean. Free parking. Price was okay. I will stay here when I visit again. Breakfast included.
Just it’s not sound proof, so if you have baby or kid who is light sleeper then might be an issue as you can hear sometimes music or traffic noise. Few more options or change in breakfast menu should be there.

The hptel is nice with free parking and breakfast. It is close to attractions. The staff is helpful. The only thing to concern is that there are homeless people around and that made us to question the security of the region but nothing bad happened.
The neighborhood is full of homeless people who are possibly drug-alcohol addicts.

Despite the hotel having no information about my reservation and payment made through Booking.com, and no one answering the phone at Booking.com to assist hotel staff, or me, the polite and friendly young man working at the hotel front desk called his Best Western supervisor who walked him through the solution by phone to meet our needs perfectly.

I love how easy it is to check in and how friendly the front staff were. They knew a lot going on in town too.
I didn't like how I couldn't participate in the free breakfast because I'm vegan. So I wish there were more options for people with dietary restrictions.
