Very clean, great amenities

I feel like we should be able to opt out of the $30 a day because I didn’t really use it much. That way it could save me some money AND the parking was way too expensive. Maybe 45-50 a night but $80 is quite a bit of money

Hotel is very clean and on great location. Rooms are spacious and fully equipped. Lobby area is nice and bar is cozy, especially the outdoor sitting area in between buildings. Staff is nice and approachable. We didnt experience any hidden costs other guests were writting about. In general it is a great place to stay at while visiting SF.

Yes, it is a nice place to stay but the value for money is not even close. It is too expensive during the GDC gaming conference and I think hotel is milking the opportunity. Hotel is significantly cheaper during some other dates. Breakfast is bad for the 4 star hotel. Very limiting and repetative. Same 4 choices are offered each day and for us coming from europe it was enough after the 2nd day of stay. I suggest not to pay for the breakfast and leave your options open.

Stunning city view, not just nice - really breath taken! The room was very spacious, bed was comfortable.

Carpet was not clean enough and because it's black you can clearly see it. The pricing system and obligatory destination fee are not clear and confusing, why not include it into the price straight away? Most european cards are not accepted as well as apple pay (you have to have a physical card) + no opportunity to pre-pay your booking in advance, so you don't need to worry that your european card won't work out.

I love this hotel, my fiance and I live in the Bay area and sometimes stay downtown for events. The Clancy is our go to in the financial district. the rooms are luxurious, spacious, designed well and the beds are heavenly. would definitely recommend! Also a great value for how nice it is in SF. nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants close by. long-term paid parking around the corner in a safe complex.

my only complaint is I used my debit card to hold the room then paid with another card. the money was taken out of the debit card for 5 days before reimbursement. Not really the hotels fault but good to know.

I booked 2 rooms for 4 adults with breakfast included and we stayed 3 nights. So glad that I booked months in advance since we had a great deal via Booking . com. I wanted to extend our stay for 1 day and the rate was almost double. The hotel staff were friendly. The rooms were clean. There is a mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room. The coffee was very good. The ambience of the hotel lobby, restaurant, and bar was very nice. There is a gym on the 2nd floor but we didn’t use it. The hotel is secure. The breakfast included with our rate was buffet breakfast. Breakfast was good. The restaurant staff were just confused with our deal.

Our only complaint was the expensive parking for guests. It was valet parking and it was $80/night plus tax & tip which ended up to be ~$100/night.

The Clancy is such a gem! The lobby is drop dead gorgeous... a place you want to linger and enjoy quiet conversation. The room was terrific: quiet and very comfortable. Didn't spend much time there because we were in town to watch the Chinese New Year Parade; and this is where the hotel shined... two blocks from a great viewing area! After a great night traipsing all over the city, we relaxed in the outdoor courtyard (warmed by the large firepit). We loved all the gifts for Marriott Bonvoy members, too (food/beverage credit, reusable water bottles, Cable Car tickets, fortune cookies!). We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was great. Cannot think of a single thing not to like. This is a rare find in SF.

The entire staff at The Clancy are fantastic, friendly and well trained. There were some issues due to a power outage. I'm very impressed with how they handled a challenging situation with care and expediency. It was not without some complications but the way that the Front Desk manager, Jazmin and her team were able to turn it around and make my stay enjoyable is praiseworthy. I have stayed at numerous great hotels in San Fransicso but will now ONLY say at The Clancy.

No complimentary Wifi. Need better selection on TV/streaming channels.

Location was great, we felt safe walking around and it was clean.

Valet gets backed up. They only offer valet so you have to check your car in with them. When I booked the room the total on the app was $251 for one night. I knew there were going to be extra fees, but after paying $80 for valet, the parking tax, destination fee and a few miscellaneous taxes/fees the room totaled $399.
