Convenient location, easy for getting to and from Fisherman's Wharf, and all the bay front attractions, ferry to Alcatraz etc., plus all the transport (streetcars, buses and trams)were close to hand, also 15 minutes away (although you do have a very steep climb up Lombard Street) to experience the 'bendy' part of Lombard Street. Comfortable bed, helpful and informative staff, very quiet room and we had a great view of the Golden Gate bridge from our room..

Initially on entering the room a strong musty smell greeted us.....the room, we think, hadn't been aired..but after a day with the windows open the smell had virtually gone. The motel we think, had seen better days, it wasn't to the same standard as UK Travelodges. ...plus there wasn't a kettle, even though my wife asked for one, she was told, ' well, there was one'..' but there isn't one'... the same reply...' there was one' .. needless to say, we never got one. We boiled water for drinks in the microwave! Would we stay again, more than likely....Yes.

I was having a serve hill bone crack prior to the time I arrived in this super hotel in waiting for my further medical attention via the surgeon along the Bay area. During my stay for 5 days I had quite a bit of activities including to see the surgeon in the area, to pick the medicine in the CVS/Target, to have my wheelchair trapped inside the room if front parking space between the concrete stopping bar and the edge of walk way at front of the door to my room (I was calling for help via the on site manager, Balmore, who have provided me the most persistent support to my stay for any help I needed. Plus his staff, a lady assistant who has provided me the hospitality service and helped me to cancel my continuous reservation for the next level without charge me the penality due to I have my diagnosis for getting back to central Florida in getting more medical attention for a upcoming possible surgery could be possibly lined up. Also, at my very last day before the leving I was dumped by one of local transportation company booked delivery service

The room was on the 2nd floor. I did get a view of the sky and other buildings next to us. The room was big, it smelled clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was not included at this hotel when booking. The room had a refrigerator, a big TV, a telephone, an iron, a safe, and a hair dryer. The floor was quiet and we got the much-needed rest. There was a laundry room, which was great because we washed our clothes before going home. The Fisherman's Wharf was about a mile away!

There was no microwave, so I had to throw away my leftovers. There weren't enough towels for 4 people. I didn't read the parking portion when booking, which stated that they charge $25 per night for parking at the hotel or one of their parking lots.

After reading about the area, i was kind of hesitant to rent here. Then, when i checked in, the front desk warned me not to leave any belongings in my car, so i thought to myself that i may have made a mistake. BUT...my stay there ended up being one of the best stays i have had at a hotel for my money! The rooms were clean and smelled clean, the shower pressure ran just right and got really hot temp, the heater/air conditioner worked really good, the bed was super comfy, and sheets felt like they were new. Very quiet, and I didn't see any in and out activity, which led me to feel safe. There is a small coffee maker with cream and sugar packets, which was just enough. Definitely will stay here again.

No microwave/fridge, BUT i was allowed to ask the staff to use their microwave, which was very accommodating, and they have an ice machine, so I just put my drinks on ice in the sink.

Really friendly staff. Great location just a few minutes’ walk from the piers and attractions. Parking was right there, and safe. They let us keep our luggage safe with them on check out day, and had great advice about the city, safety, and attractions. Room was a lot nicer than we were expecting and had a great kitchenette (they gave us a free upgrade!!!) some have said the rooms were dated but I saw that as a feature - the bathroom and kitchenette were IMMACULATE, clean, and lovey, and looked straight out of the 1950s. Hairdryer and soaps were provided and ironing board and iron, TV, fridge, cooker and microwave. Staff were so friendly. Parking was extra, but it is extra everywhere. Staff gave us some great recommendations for where to eat, and a lovely diner just around the corner was marvellous. It’s a motel, so I don’t want to “over-egg” it, but we really enjoyed our stay - and please pass on our thanks to staff.

Location was great, around a 20 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf & felt a safe area generally Staff were very friendly & helpful Room was clean & comfortable

Room felt a little dated & maybe need a bit more lighting, but it was clean & comfortable so not big issues & wouldn't put me off staying afain

We liked pretty much everything. Nice and helpful staff, quick check in. Safe neighborhood. The beds were comfy and big. Housekeeping service works perfectly fine. TV streams without any problems.

Nothing really bothered us. It was a value for money.

Nice location and easy to find. The big bus tour stop is right outside so it was easy to do the tour of San Francisco while on a quick stopover. Comfy beds and smelt fresh. Tv and wifi were good. Very clean and it was a good price for the location. Staff were really helpful too.

The beds were amazing. After a full day of sightseeing - it was good to relax. The location was perfect for quick restaurant stops.

With us being there for 9 days, we got tired of always eating out. Having a microwave in the room, or even by the vending machine would have helped us with doing some warming up etc instead of wasting left over food.

Staff were all so great, friendly, helpfull, efficient, Fatima even lent us an umbrella cause it might rain. Rooms are decent, had pretty much what we needed. Clean. Cleaned everyday. Had places to eat nearby and is near Fisherman’s Wharf Free luggage storage before and after checking in Seperate bathroom and toilet which is convenient Pleasant neighborhood compared to other parts of the city - seemed pretty safe We had a pleasant stay

Can be a little dark because the lights are dim but it’s not a big deal
