the breakfast was comfortable.......The breakfast area had adorable memorabilia .. I just loved... the fresh smoothes , coffee, and smiles from the staff. so welcoming....fresh baked goods...🥰

They made fresh smoothies....... coffee was good, pleasant and fun welcoming room ...... it was wonderful. The Gentleman working the front desk, helped me with my suitcase , carrying the heaviest up the stairs... Sweet lady, again at the front desk , told me where to find the biggest pinecones I have ever seen.... The room where I enjoyed my breakfast was full of fun and interesting things.. It was an enjoyable place ... casino and restaurants across the road... The staff were very accommodating and wonderful. I can't wait to go again....

This is a great little boutique hotel perfectly located on Stateline in South Lake Tahoe. Even though the casinos are so close you can't hear them and Basecamp is peaceful. A quick walk to Lakeside Beach, Nevada, and the main street of South Lake Tahoe, you can't beat the location. The entire property is adorable and well decorated. The coffeshop and brewery on site are awesome, high quality, and full of entertainment. Our room was perfect, super warm and cozy. Bed was very comfy. I highly recommend staying here when visiting South Lake Tahoe, we will definitely stay here again.

Loved this unique place. I could have just stayed there and not left the little complex. The beer garden was perfect with fire pits, bags and ping pong. Breakfast and coffee shop plus food counter by the beer garden. Everything was great. Beds were so comfy. Clean units. It was perfect!

Could have used a microwave in the room. We were in unit 248 and loved it. Back door to the beer garden. Front door to the street. Street side could use a little sprucing up…mainly paver edging.

Excellent in town location. Fun vibe and very friendly staff. Property is looking a bit 'tired' and worn out, but location was key for us. On-property coffee bar and out door bar grille was very nice.

No elevators (which we did already know), however we were given second floor room and after lugging our luggage up stairs (we are in mid-60s), only to find room was NOT in service. Was given new 2nd floor room in different wing, so had to lug back down and then up again. That room too was not in very good shape (large spot on carpet, fixture hanging off ceiling, noisy portable air conditioner), however, hotel did send staff immediately to remedy, and stay was much more enjoyable!!

Basecamp South Tahoe is a nice place where we spent two days. The necessary equipment was available on site. We were welcomed without any problems. Early check-out was also possible. It was clean and spacious, the room had a large balcony. There is a bar with a garden on the hotel grounds. It is a very atmospheric place, I recommend it to everyone. On the day of our arrival there was live music. There were plenty of parking spaces.

The hotel is renovated, but there is a specific smell. After a while I got used to it. Little light reached the shower. But these are really small drawbacks.

I loved it here, the location of it is very convinient. It was walking distance to the lake. You're given 2 free vouchers a day to go to a private "beach". Water was crystal clear. After a nice cold dunk in the lake, the jucuzzi back at the hotel was the cherry on top. They also sell smore's kits which you can make in one of their many firepit locations. Very cozy! I just so happen to leave my ipad behind in the room and Letty, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure it was sent back to my house. Thank you Letty! Overall I would definitely come here again!

Very convenient location, cute and cozy lobby with a fantastic view of Heavenly, short walk to the main strip and village with shopping, restaurants, or bite to eat and wine and beer right there! Comfy beds, brewery with live music & food to enjoy around the campfire!!! Plus, two hot tubs to enjoy. Truly a great place to be by it all, meet some new people, and jump off the explore beautiful Lake Tahoe!

Not the newest and one of the plug ins didn’t quite work for the hot water kettle for pour over coffee.

Coffee was tasty at the coffee chop. That cinnamon roll was the perfect treat with our lattes. Staff was friendly and everything was served quickly! The room was very clean with plenty of space. A hot shower after a day on the mountain was much appreciated.

If I had to give feedback about our stay would be regarding the breakfast snacks - Breakfast Taco and Breakfast Sandwich. They could have been prepared or served a little differently. Both were a smidge soggy, as they are wrapped when being served. I'm not sure if they are held in a steamer to stay warm, but I would recommend maybe pressing them on a grill before serving or bringing them up to temp in a toaster oven/Salamander Broiler to crispy up the bun or tortilla. Also working in the service industry, I can understand the challenge, so no complaint here. The flavor of both items were delicious! Would order again.

Very spacious. Love that it comes with a water boiler and a fridge. It's a plus to have a TV in the room. I like the open closet so i can hang dry or air out my snowboard gears. The bathroom was very roomy. I'm a pretty Husky guy. So me fitting in the shower without bumping the glass door open made my experience very great. Overall, great stay!

The main light of the room was dimmer than what i would like. It's a great light to calm you down during the nighttime and help unwind. Although, during the day, it doesn't shine bright enough to see things in high visibility. I have to turn on all the nightstand lights to see things in the room.

Such a great location! Staff really helpful and friendly. Room was perfect for our needs, it felt like they had thought of everything. Being able to buy s'mores for the fire was a really nice touch :) Really good value and would definitely stay here again!

The walls were a bit thin - I woke up in the night because I could hear the man in the room next to us snoring. Also the coffee in the room was gross, but the coffee you could buy in the restaurant was delicious and more than made up for it :)
