What a beautiful hotel! Stained glass ceiling!

The restroom in Rm.718 had what looked like a water leak under the sink, and there was a wash rag wrapped around it for some reason. There was a nasty sewer smell coming from the restroom. The double shower head was a nice touch, but there was so much calcium built up that the water would spray all over the place, and probably about 30% of the shower head nozzles were clogged. The shower door doesn't close right as well. The light in the entrance to the room in front of the restroom didn't work. The outlet by the window was loose, and my phone charger wouldn't stay plugged in. I understand that this is a very old building, which is why I didn't complain about it during our stay. Overall, the place is amazing!

The manager made a special effort to give me a discount because my original booking with booking.com had issues. I appreciate them stepping up to the plate because I couldn't get a hold of booking.com to explain the reason why my 2 queen bed room was canceled....so kudos to the Brown staff for being great at customer service! We also ate at their ship themed restaurant and had fish and chips, which were absolutely delicious.

What I didn't like was not the fault of the Brown Palace, but somehow my booking.com reservation got canceled or switched from a two queen to a one Queen room. The hotel was full, so they were unable to upgrade me back to the two queen. I tried reaching out to booking.com but couldn't get a single human being to tell me what the issue was. Phone number just sent me back to their web site.and my email bounced back.

Terrific architecture and interior design. The staff was very pleasant and the restaurants were good. The concierge was knowledgeable and asked smart questions to be more helpful. Very easy walk to the several fine restaurants, the Denver Art Museum, American Museum of Western Art, the 16th Street Mall, the Colorado State Capitol Building, and the U.S. Mint among others.

I was in one of the triangular rooms on the corner. The plus? Great views. The negative? Street noise from all sides. There are two large downtown construction projects going on and at 6 in the morning you can hear the sites becoming active. I turned the ceiling fan on to help but a white noise machine would’ve helped The restaurants appeared to be understaffed at the times I visited. Good service but staff appeared overwhelmed.

You can't beat the glorious historic architecture at the Brown Palace hotel. Its simply amazing. Makes staying here very special and unique.

We think some local architecture or interior design students could spend a semester on plans to renovate the Elyington restaurant space so that it looks much more historically in line with the rest of the hotel. That space, with ITS walls covered with blank white paint looks extremely strange right now and needs TLC.

Historical hotel with excellent traditional amenities such as a cigar lounge, restaurant, tavern and many others. You can feel the history as you walk through the hotel. The rooms are updated but keep with the historical charm! The bedding was very comfortable! The king suite was the biggest in town! Lots of presidents and stars including Taylor swift have stayed at the hotel!

Breakfast was amazing and Ellyngtons was lovely. I deeply appreciated how they were able to sub for gluten free. I loved the espresso maker in my room and my robe. I wish I could have experienced more amenities while there.

The layout of the rooms on the floors are a bit confusing, such as the numbering is all over the place. Due to construction downtown, it was very hard to get into. But there really was not anything about the actual experience that I didn't like.

The location is great, The Conf Rooms were fresh and lovely, The Linens were wonderful and the bed was very good, The Breakfast as well as Catered Foods for the meetings were ALL Excellent.

It was a slightly sad thing to see the lack of maintenance IE Elevator had broken Items, There were real "Chain and bolt" on some conf room doors rather than installed locks, The Breakfast service table sat in front of our room for over 10 hours as did the Towel bin The Vanity cabinet in my room lacked paint and the cabinet door that hides the plumbing yet the magnet catches were still there. The trash can in the Bathroom was too big to fit beside the toilet.

We really liked our stay! The hotel was very clean and most of the staff were friendly and kind. I loved the live music in the atrium and breakfast area—it made the experience even better.

The employees at the front door were not very friendly or helpful when I arrived, and no one offered to help with my luggage.

Ideal location, very large room with a huge bath. The hotel has a selection of bars to choose from, and the style of the hotel itself is charming.

The fact that unless you are a member you have to pay roughly $15 for wifi a day. For the price of the room and for a four star hotel this should be included without any further cost…

This was our first stay here at the Brown Palace but it won’t be our last! The hotel is a beautiful piece of living history. Be sure to read the plaques around the hotel to learn some of its history. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The Tavern there is a great place for a cocktail in the evening!
