The hotel itself is awesome; it's a resort. It has everything you might think of for a vacation in Key West, but the beach. The hotel has a staff ready to serve and a beautiful setting; the ambience you feel is just relaxation, vacation, a sense of being in the right place to disconnect from everything. A great taste in the design and cleanliness do the rest. When you are told about free breakfast, or included, don't think about a buffet; they offer you a menu with wholesome dishes from which you have to select one, which is OK, since they are plentiful. I was happy having it every morning. Something they might think of is trying to get rid of the nuisance of marine birds and domestic fowls that are abundant, and in some cases, they try to get your food; they should try something like placing those decoy owls that help everywhere you see them. Other than that, the hotel is great, with an enormous parking lot, a shuttle to Key West, and the pools. The games in the backyard, the grass, everything invites you to stay; it's pure vacation.

Our stay was spectacular! The room and the amenities especially the breakfast included is very good. I coudn’t say more but good things. Even the pool hours they’ve extended it a little bit just to accomodate guest preference. Thank you Blue Flamingo! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting keywest. And will definitely come back❤️

Some construction going on but nothing crazy. The elevator I wish it is located inside the hotel and works more efficient.

Love the renovations!! We attempted to stay there four years ago but left after seeing the room, the staff wasn't that friendly and the lobby was OK so we left. We didn't realize it was the same hotel until we pulled up! Thankfully it looked like a different hotel and our stay was lovely. The room decor was so cute and we had a great view of the pool. Loved the shuttle into town. Very family friendly!!

Serve drinks at the pool, seemed a little understaffed at breakfast. You have to get used to the roosters! I have an extra charge on my CC, I have tried calling billing three times in one day and no one answered. Trying again today.

The room is neat and beautifully decorated in serene beach motives to remind you are here for relaxation and fun. Two pools, gardens and some games around. Cute chickens walk around, which is an adorable symbol of Key West (you will find by your bed a funny free supply to help you with certain noisy locals (roosters!) - I love to wake up to their soft new day announcement, though. Included breakfast is served by the pool (not a buffet!) which will remind your on vacation, drop the diet! - when I asked how many slices to the French toast and he replied “1”, I felt robbed, but “whoa!” - that’s about a 2” slice covered in blueberry sauce, whipping cream, sprinkled with coconut cheap… goodbye diet!!!

Beautiful updates rooms. Such Florida chic decor. The staff was amazing at front desk! This hotel had everything including Starbucks, gym, food options, pool options and bars options!they had many family activities which made the best vacation ever! What a special place with chickens, iguanas, and butterflies! Ping pong, chess, jenga, music, and much more! What a spot! The only part was the last 30 min of our amazing vacation a security person texted my phone saying they were calling the cops. It was a miscommunication but made a very special time a bit tainted.

Last 30 min of my vacation with family I was texted by security they were calling the cops. Pictures were sent to my personal cell phone about a license plate but it was a mix up and was such a stressful way to end a beautiful vacation.

We had an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived and were greeted with complimentary champagne, we knew we were in for something special! The hotel is beautifully updated! The rooms are modern, clean, and super comfortable. The pool area was perfect for both relaxation and play. What really stood out were all the fun activities for the kids, from miniature golf and corn hole to ping pong, they were never bored! The entire facility was well-kept, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Will definitely come back again.

Our check-in was easy and staff was super nice and friendly. Nice room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and great service.

The walls between rooms are very thin. We woke up one morning to the sound of the neighbor vomiting. I was surprised to be able to hear that through the walls. Also, when we checked in, we were early and our room wasn't ready. That was fine. The clerk, who was super nice, said an ocean view room was ready and he could move us to that. We originally had a garden view, so we looked at that as an upgrade. However, ocean view also means traffic view and traffic sounds.

This hotel is located a bit outside the heart of Key West, but it more than makes up for it with the great range of services and amenities it offers.

Breakfast by the pool was a real highlight—delicious and relaxing to start the day in such a nice setting. There were also plenty of fun activities available, including ping pong, mini golf, and foosball, which added a playful touch to the stay. The free shuttle bus to the island’s center was super convenient and made getting around easy. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable—exactly what we needed.

Outstanding excellent customer service! The breakfast which was included in my reservation was a restaurant style meal. Not just an ordinary continental meal. It was fresh prepared the way you wanted to modify what was listed on the menu! It was very good and got my day off to a wonderful start!

Housekeeping isn’t performed daily. No signs were in the room to notify customers how to have housekeeping performed. At checkin, I wasn’t informed of anything about housekeeping. I had to call front desk one day for clean towels and to have my trash emptied during my six day stay. I had to call again for for toilet paper! I talked to the front desk when the hotel operator said I needed to call. The front desk said I didn’t need to order it! So, I made a recommendation to the manager to have employees inform guests at check in which would greatly cut down on confusion!

For us the only thing is the pool rules.there’s no staff managing the rules of the pool I know it’s hard to keep on track of guests that are in or around the pool.rules says no food or drinks in pool and people don’t follow rules and since there’s no one forcing the rules people are careless and drinks and food are everywhere not pleasant for the rest of us that are clean
