too expensive

We stayed there only for 1 night before our flight from Miami. The hotel is OK, good value for money. The staff was friendly. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, but I was not a problem for us for 1 night stay.

It was very crowded because of the casino. Long lines at breakfast. The breakfast was poor (except for pastries - these were served warm and were delicious). Be cautious when booking the room with breakfast for more than 2 persons. Complimentary breakfast is only for 2 person. For any extra person you will have to pay extra in the hotel. This information is not provided in the moment of booking, only in the correspondence following the booking - which I got to know only when I arrived at the hotel late in the evening. It’s a strange practice - booking.com should clarify this.

The property was nice and clean. I also liked the variety of eating options that were available on site before our event.

I felt that the room rate was too high and then learned that some one in our physical group who did not originally book through the group rate that the hotel quoted, ended up getting over $100 off of their room. We had hundreds of people at the event that the Hotel was booked for, yet they closed the onsite cafeteria which turned a lot of people off. Also I had to go to the check in desk 3 times because my room key was not working in the elevator.

This was a nice budget friendly hotel & casino for our overnight stay before our cruise. The casino was busy. We didn't eat For the most part it was clean. There was some hair in the bathroom sink in which I removed with clorox wipes and brought it to the attention of mgt. But this was not a deal breaker considering our quick stay. We didn't dine at the onsite restaurant as there was nearby restaurants to choose from and stores in case of last minute pick-ups. i.e. CVS, Wal-mart. The Port of Miami was about 30 min drive-depending on traffic. We would stay again.

Wish check-ins were a little earlier than 3pm. But you can totally kill time in the heart of Miami before hand. At the time of our visit there was no access to the pool or gym; due to renovations. Look forward to visiting again and getting to experience the changes.

This casino hotel was perfectly located as a stop on the way to Keys for our 4th of July holiday. I liked that it had built in entertainment value with the gambling options, though I only used the free ten bucks given for signing up to the players club and walked away a big winner with fifteen bucks. lol. It was reasonably clean and comfortable. The price was good too. I also liked it was non smoking except for an enclosed designated area. I also enjoyed all the native art / history lesson hung all over the place. It was really close to the Everglades air boat ride we took the following morning. My brothers enjoyed the gambling options. The TV was decent with good channels to pick from.

I thought the food left something to be desired. I bought a fairly expensive steak for dinner at their restaurant, and it was murdered. The sides of the steak were inedible. Thankfully, I wasn't all that hungry and ate the center, which was acceptable though not good but I was too tired to mess with it. The mac n cheese was amazing. Had a muffin and coffee at the cafe for breakfast that was really good.

We arrived early for our stay here. So our room wasn't ready. We were told that an early sign in would be an extra $50. They stashed our luggage, and we decided to go eat and just wait it out for a few hours. The front desk was so great. She kept in touch with us until our room was ready. Even though they didn't have a bellman on duty, they recruited an employee to help get our luggage to our room. We will be visiting again.

There was nothing I didn't like. It was a great spot. My only downside was that we had to park so far away. It was a busy day apparently.

I liked that to go up to the rooms you needed a card to swipe in the elevator. It helped reduce the amount of people loitering around. The free breakfast every morning helped a lot too.

The pillows were the only deal breaker. The pillows were so uncomfortable to sleep with that I had a major migraine the following morning. I only slept better after asking local friends to give me their pillows.

Breakfast was good. Just needed more of a variety. Food at the restaurants were good. The food we ordered at the bar was a bit pricy for what we received. 3 dollars for a flavor change is ridiculous and it was not on the menu saying that.

For the price of the rooms. Microwaves and refrigerators need to be in the rooms And 7 dollars for a handful of frys was a bit too much

Everything was incredible the vibe, the food, the 24 hour availability. The staff were friendly and upbeat. There was a smoking and non smoking casino and the variety of games was massive. We also got complementary drinks and 10 dollars on any game for free!!

The hot tub was smaller than I thought but it was still amazing so really no complaints at all.

It was perfect for a night over in the Miami area. It had the swimming and hot tub which we did use. Loved the temperature off the pool it was great. We used the sauna as well. The casino is a work in process which I believe will be great when all done.

While we did use the pool area, I was disappointed that regular casino users could come into the pool area. The sign for the smoking area was directing them through the pool. If I was traveling with children this would have been inappropriate having random people in the pool area. Also the shower was out of the soap, shampoo and conditioner.
