The hotel was comfortable and centrally located, which made things more convenient. I had to leave Red Roof Inn due to an odor and woke up with welts on my arm, so this was a much better alternative.

There were wet spots in the hallway, and the doors to Area B weren’t secured, which felt like a safety concern. It would’ve been great to see better upkeep in the hallways and more attention to security—especially with external access points. Just a few tweaks would have made the stay feel more secure and polished.

The price for the stay, the staff was friendly and professional.

The fact that I was not able to use the HDMI plug to the TV was inconvenient and the bed was a little hard. There was a guest across the hall that kept slamming his door all night periodically. The phone in the room didn't work and when I called from my cell no one answered at the front desk. I had to walk down to the desk to request an iron and ironing board.

Originally booked my stay at nearby MainStays only to discover they DO NOT have handicap accommodations for Standard rooms (1-2 guests), but DO have these accommodations for the Suites ONLY (4+ guests). As long as you don't mind being discriminated against and having to pay a lot more for a suite which I don't need as single traveler, I promptly cancelled reservation and booked Motel 6 in Arlington Heights SOOOO glad I did! Motel 6 guest rating was higher than MainStays (who also had many negative reviews on cleanliness and staff), Motel 6 was clean, comfortable, had a HUGE bathroom with a walk-in handicap shower with seat, grab bars on every wall, and my safety was never in doubt. Staff was friendly and very accommodating, and had all the amenities I needed without the unnecessary expensive "free" bells and whistles. Would definitely book again on my next trip to Chicago!!!!

Nite time people in parking lot seemed shady. 1 lady who seemed to live there kept asking me for a cigarette. Prices in vending machine was outrageous. Had a hard time understanding what the lady who checked me in was saying because her English was not good and she talked fast.

Conveniently located/easy to find, good value for money spent. Ample & well-lit parking spaces, friendly staff, vending. RM 104 had tidy room & bathroom, good water pressure/hot water, mini fridge & microwave. Great a/c. Surprisingly quiet, given sheer volume of guests. Slept well.

Not a fan of the damage deposit ($50 cash/credit), but it’s disclosed before booking and again at check-in.

Nice rooms, clean, quiet, recently renovated with fridge and microwave. The location feels safe and it's easy to find parking. Many places to eat nearby, including several steakhouses and the famous Wildberry pancakes.

Both my partner's access card to the hotel and mine suddenly stopped working during the second day. Needed to go to the reception to have them reactivated

Hot tea available in the early mornings, in the main lobby area, near vending machines & ice machines. my room was close to an outside exit door for the parking lot. I have trouble walking too far, so they honored my request at pre booking, for a first floor, 'near th front office.'

My check in was late in the afternoon, on a very bitter cold & bitter afternoon, & when I turned on the cable tv in my room, th "no signal" words were on th tv screen. After I went out of th building for a few hours, and returned to my room the cable news channel was working again. sometimes, I know cold weather, here, in the Midwest can affect the power on cable tv. I like to watch cable news, so for me this was significant thatvit was working properly. I keep the "cable" tv news on, til late night, when I'm at this motel location. For others, it may not be important, but for me who is privvy to "current events* as they occur, I like to be well informed, 'in the moment', not just on social media.

Very bitter cold temperatures during this few days stay. th heater was nice, especially since I had a window view, w ice at the windows. Staff always professional. Ran into a friend/colleague who was staying n another room on the other side of the building. Nice to do a visit to her room for a while.

Ice, on the ground, when opening the exit door, to walk outside th building to my vehicle parked outside. Ice on th ground can be a little tricky, may I suggest some.salt to melt it so we won't fall. Not a lot is needed, just a little so it's safe for us visitors to walk. If short staffed for this, then I understand if not able to do.

Great price and service. Rooms where nice as well. Overall good place for awesome price.

If your goal is to see Chicago, localisation could have been better, since you have only one bus and transport takes so w time. but it is a minor issue.

Motel 6 is a nice and comfortable place to stay at if you looking for a nice and clean place to stay at and the price are very reasonable and restaurants are very close by so if you're looking for a nice clean place I advise you for this location and the rooms are very clean and the staff are very helpful
