Cambria Suites in the Theater District is among the best hotels I've ever stayed at. From the front door of the facility, I knew that my stay would be special, stress-free and sentimental. The double queen room that I booked was spacious, clean, quiet and met all of my needs (Bonus points for having a fan in the bathroom that works!). The on-site staff were always available and eager to help. The value of this hotel, considering the location and access to various Chicago attractions, transportation options and restaurants, was world-class. If and when I ever return to visit Chicago, this will be the place I stay.

Love love love the location. For us, this is perfectly situated in the theatre district. It's close to multiple forms of public transport and many options for food and shopping. Housekeeping staff and security staff are always super pleasant and helpful.
The reception staff are hit or miss. Some are super friendly while others border on being indifferent to rude. It's a roll of the dice as you never know what you're going to get. Its an awkward set up with reception being on the 9th floor. Trying to checkout in the mornings can be a real hassle with the elevators. This specific trip had difficulty finding an ice machine that actually had ice, which was a pain as the machines are not on every floor.

We stayed here for one night. It was an excellent stay. very modern rooms compared to the average hotel room. The location/area is very safe with all necessities at a walking distance. The workers at the front desk were very friendly and straight forward. No hassle or anything. Checking in took like 2 minutes and checking out took no time at all. Very quick service which is the best. The room had everything we needed, minus a garbage can. The design of the floor we stayed on felt like a maze getting to our room, just a bunch of turns in the hallway. The room had hardwood floors which made the stay even better. No stains or anything and very clean room. I thought it was slightly overpriced. Definitely shouldn’t have paid $220 for one night

Clean, comfortable, secure with a guard at the door
The parking was a problem. We parked 5 minutes before noon and were charged for 2 nights instead of one. We are in our late 70s and it was bitterly cold out. The front desk said we could walk back to the self park lot, drive our car back out , come back in, pay any charge for the time it was there or we could pay for 2 nights. Not a good choice. Otherwise, it was a lovely place. Learned an expensive lesson about coming 5 minutes too soon.

The location is superb for walking to attractions, the L, Millenium Train Station. The hotel is very clean, quiet for our room (from neighbor rooms; the outdoors noises are just city sounds). The room layout was great; bed was very comfortable.
The refrigerator ended up freezing some leftovers and a drink can expanded and seeped out the drink; we could not find any temperature control dial etc inside to turn it down. We didn't call or text the front desk to alert because it wasn't the biggest deal; just a small small drawback.

Proximity to theaters and neighborhood restaurants. Chicago Art Institute 4 blocks maybe a little less. Easy walk to the river (3 blocks maybe a little less). I Didn’t have a car. Easy catching Uber with the Doorman to help if you have lots of luggage. Blick Art store next store. Upscale Mall directly across street from front door with a virtual golf facility upstairs and a Magnolia Bakery with entrance just inside on left from the street or an entrance to bakery from the street. Great staff; very accommodating during my stay especially Kaitlyn-front desk and James-Doorman. Kriskindl market 1 block away. Great restaurant across street at corner with good food and drinks.
Having to take the elevator to the 9th floor for lobby

Amazing location, could not ask for a better spot. Room was of a decent size, and beds were comfortable.
Staff thought that toilet paper, toiletries ECT were coming out of their pay. Had to ask multiple times before getting shower gel, and toilet paper refilled. Ended up having to walk down to the front desk. I know it's common after COVID, but I still think paying almost 300 a night, the room should be serviced every day.

I did not have breakfast at the hotel.
Your front desk agent 'Jewel' was aloof and she presented as being annoyed. Upon check-in my room was.next to the elevator. I asked if I could change the room and was bluntly told my room was assigned and all other rooms were filled. Later, I felt like an interruption when I asked for toilet tissue and creamer. She drummed her nails on the counter and tried to rush me along. You're in the hospitality business. People remember how you make them feel.

The location is conveniently close to the subway, in the heart of the city. Surrounded by many attractions, shops, restaurants in walkable distance.
Could be cleaner, especially the corridors. There were white paint particles that fell from the ceiling outside our door during the whole week we stayed there. It is impossible not to see them but the housekeeping did not care. There was much cold air flow coming from under the door of the room, very inconvenient given how cold Chicago is in early March. The hotel is located in the city center, within the Loop, so there are all sorts of people around. Whenever the door keeper was away, it got a little creepy when waiting for the elevators because the reception is on the 9th floor.

Location is very good, central, calm. Beds were wide enough for 2 people to sleep comfortably in one. Parking is just around the corner for 55 USD.
The room was dirty. I took one small towel and was cleaning table, cabinets, even window by myself. Bathroom is big but empty. There could be more hangers or something else where you could put your clothes when going to shower. The staff could also be more polite. Once you arrive to reception, you can feel that you are not welcomed here at all, not a tiny smile in the face.
