Very family oriented, a lot to do on premise especially if you have a rainy day. They have late check in times or at least when we booked.. they do however let you use facilities before check in and after check out which is wonderful especially when you travel far and with children!

Really nothing to complain about other than smoking sections.. looking for them is a little awkward and nerve wracking.. I mean I do not smoke in my own home so I’m not against smoking outside in the least but decks and around stair cases etc could help.. also I would have rather had breakfast on site and they still have a restaurant but I’m assuming that they closed it.. that would be a good thing to have again.

Everything was great! We enjoyed playing mini golf and the indoor pool. We also caught a movie. Everyone was very friendly and our room, though outdated was clean and comfortable.

My only suggestion would be to bring your own pillow!

This resort is perfect for families, primarily young kids. All the amenities will keep them busy, we found something to do every day. The shuttle bus staff is amazing and consistent, runs every 15-20mins, we would visit the boardwalk often as parking can be hassle close to the boardwalk. Love movie night, the little theater was fun, we enjoyed the popcorn. The picnic areas near to the pond was great for lunch and family supper. Please bring your basketball or volleyball, scooter was also a great idea.

Indoor pool- remove the carpet as it smells really bad. Honestly carpet next to a pool/moist area will never be a good idea. Could stand the smell as you enter the pool area. The bed linen was torturous the first 2 nights. Static and just itch. Need to use fabric softener or something to reduce the uncomfortable feeling.

This resort has been around a very long time so I was really apprehensive about our stay but I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. The room was clean and roomy. Bed was comfortable and linens were fresh. The resort was quiet in the evening. The shuttle service they offer to the inlet was very well run and timely. TV offered many channels to choose from. We had left the do not disturb sign on the door while we were out and they left clean towels in a bag on our door which I appreciated. We left the kids at home and stayed two nights for Winefest. We are now planning to bring the kids here in the summer for a stay as there seemed to be a lot for them to do around the resort when we aren't at the beach.

Upon entering the room for the first time, it had that older hotel room smell. We left the door open for a few minutes to air it out and it was not an issue the rest of the stay.

We traveled with two kids, a 3 years and 1 year old. They had a great time! The first room we got needed a renovation, but upon requesting another, the resort swiftly relocated us to a much better room. It was lighter and had more space. The facilities and staff compensated for the first negative impression. The indoor pools were a great addition, as the kids could still have fun when the sun was at its peak. They were surprisingly clean and well-supervised. The outdoor pools were also clean and fun for the kids. The location was convenient, with breakfast just around the corner, and a bus service was available between the resort and the OC, although we did not use it. Kudos to the staff for promptly changing our room upon arrival, as the initial one did not meet our expectations. The replacement room was much more welcoming and cleaner. Furthermore, they provided railings to prevent the children from falling out of bed.

The room with the sofa bed was just bad. Run down and not clean enough. As other reviews stated, some of the rooms need remodeling, luckily our room got swapped out with another room with kitchenette and two beds. It was much better. The AC was a bit close to the bed, so we had to turn it down for the kids not to be exposed to constant cold air blow. Refurbishing of the rooms seems to be underway (2024) .

The bed was the best bed that we have gad the pleasure of sleeping on in Ocean City. Each night after a long day, we retired to what felt like a memory foam mattress. Woke up refreshed and ready for the day to come. We traveled for Oceans Calling, which if you don't know, is a few days packed to the brim with music right by the pier on the inlet. Room was rather large compared to other establishments. Price was solid, and there were some tasty options for food right next door. If we had kids this would be a great place to stay as it seemed very family friendly.

No complaints.

The indoor pool was the perfect depth for my littles. They had a good time and I could worry less about "the deep end". Life jackets and other devices were also offered! The playground was nice for smaller children, but my children (11, 9, 8) found it a little "booooring". Basketball, volleyball, and mini golf are all available. As are grills and picnic tables. During peak there is an outdoor pirate ship pool and a splash pad! There's a snack bar inside the indoor pool. I also liked the movie theater in the main building. The location was excellent. In summer though it wouldn't be the same! Traffic would be awful!

The linens on the bed were awful. The rooms were kind of small for a family who is staying more than a night or two. The bathroom is small. The toilet is on top of the tub and right behind the door.

The Staff were friendly and attentive, Donna is great at the bar, Gary, the Lifeguard at the Indoor pool was really friendly, and really nice to the kids, our room housekeepers Regee & Melissa were great, we were very happy that there was a never ending supply of TOWELS!!! that was awesome! The Suttle service to the boardwalk was a huge value add!!

There were too many people getting away with Cigarette Smoking in front of the rooms and by their cars. The Water pressure and hot water was kinda weak.. but we understand its a older facility. Also you need to get Donna a better system to manage the Flies in the bar. She works too hard to have to deal with that many flies buzzing around her..

The staff at check-in and any time we had a question, were so helpful and super friendly. They made us feel immediately welcome. Our room was perfect. The kids LOVED the playground, mini golf, the arcade, the movie theater, and the indoor pool. The lifeguard on duty Friday during our stay was so kind, attentive to all the kids in the pool and honestly should probably get extra pay for the whole music vibe. It made it that much more fun for all of us. Everyone else staying here was so kind as well.. kids playing in the pool like they were old friends after 10 minutes of being there. Same for at the playground and the movies. It was like instant community. It was a great experience. We only had a two night stay, but we will absolutely be back again for a longer stay!!!!

I honestly couldn't say there was anything I didn't like.

The location has two pools and the indoor is a bonus for kids and outdoor mini golf. For the price of lower cost and amenities, it works out. It's generally 30 pecent cheaper than other hotels/centers to stay at near ocean city. Also has a free shuttle to go back and forth to ocean city boardwalk for free, elviates parking cost.

It's a little dated in rooms and it's more of a center of small condo style rooms. Not really hotel style, But again you get what you pay for and for anyone thinking of staying. If you are looking for a lower cost resort style, not really worried about high class, it's a suervalue for the money, and geared towards families with kids, more things for your kids keep them busy, and is cheaper than comparably than your brand names nearby, this works.
