The location was excellent. Easy to get to and a short walk to the lakeshore beach area. A short drive to Elk Rapids shopping which was awesome!! The owner was knowledgeable and available to answer any questions. The hotel is cute and situated on spacious grounds with firepit and chairs. It looked like there had been some recent upgrades to the room which made it very inviting. Nicely decorated and plenty of room for two people.

The beds were a little too soft for me. And the AC/heating unit was loud. The outer cover shook and rattled loudly when it started which kept us awake. If there is some way to fasten the cover tightly on the unit, that may help.

This is the 4th time I have stated ar Lakeshore Inn! It is my go to place when I venture up to Traverse City area from southwest Ohio area. Fully recommend and will continue to stay here everytime!

I honestly do not know if there is a single thing I dislike about this place. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, price is on point and I love the location!

The owner of the place is super nice and very welcoming. She did a fantastic job with the place. It was our first time up there and she also made sure to tell us where to go and what are some of the main attractions up there. I loved my stay there and will definitely be going back. I feel really bad because we forgot to tip!

Pillows

We liked the location and grounds. We made dinner on gas BBQ grill. We built a fire with the wood provided to us. The bed was comfortable and clean. The owner was very polite and helpful. Thank you.

We had a single queen room. It was a little small in the bathroom. There is no room for the table, as seen in the picture.

Location good.

I was in #4. There was a water problem they were working on. It did not affect my water. There was a lot of digging, messy, I couldn't sit outside in the chairs outside my room because the digging was that close to the front of my room. There are other places to sit on the property, but sippy my coffee in a chair right in front of my room is more desirable.

Everything was fine. Considering I did not know the area, I assume it was safe. Close enough to downtown. Only downfall was no ice available.

I like the quaintness of the property even though it was on a busy road. It was set back enough to be able to be enjoyed. I love the fire pits that they added. It made meeting people, fun and interesting.

Very friendly and considerate staff. Extremely clean, love the roadside motel charm with upgrades. Nice places to sit outside. AC easy to work. Ample outlets. Easy distance to Traverse City. And so close to Pearl’s!

Lovely location, bright clean and spacious rooms.

Couldn’t find our way to the beach, thought it was just out the back of the property but wasn’t. We could have explored further but didn’t fancy walking down a road with out sidewalks.

It was quiet, clean, and cute. Fire pits outside was great if you had time to sit by a fire under twinkle lights.

Not directly next to the beach. You had to walk a block away and cross two streets. Beach was too rocky to swim in.
