I liked the location, great view of the lake. The rooms were nice and clean, bathroom was small and sink was not in bathroom but not a big deal to us.

Using Booking.com for this reservation was scary. This place is a self check in with a code for the front door and a separate code for your door. We never got our room number or any codes, and had to call them to get our information. At first they said since we used booking.com, that our reservation didn't go through. Luckily, this wasn't the case and once we got our information everything worked out fine.

If you’re okay with not being directly on the beach this location is perfect. It gives you a view of the lake and is located only a few miles from downtown. The rooms were clean. You feel safe with the code entry. Everything was clean. The beds are super comfy. Communications throughout the stay were helpful and gave a personal touch. When staff was present they were super nice.

Great for the price. Just 3 miles out of town, beautiful view of the bay outside our window. Self check in was easy as was check out. Nice being able to sit on porch outside of room to have coffee or a glass of wine we bought locally.

At first it felt a bit odd not having a front desk with employees.

The room was clean and well laid out. Shower was nice. We were concerned about how close it was to the highway, but the sound level was ok and didn’t bother us. The highway traffic drops considerably at night and there were complimentary ear plugs on the nightstand. Nice touch. TV was good sized and easy to operate. Includes a Roku. Common area includes a very large table that works for groups. A beautiful walking trail is right off the deck, which has a grill and is perfect for gathering.

The access off US31 is difficult - it’s a busy / 55mph road and the driveway is very short making it difficult to negotiate when your not familiar, especially if someone else is in the driveway The bathroom needs places to hang clothing / nightshirts / towels. The toilet does. It have a lid, so you can’t place anything there. The only sink is a bar sink so it’s not handy for washing hair or face - and the counter level is well shorter than most bathroom counters.

Location right on lake. Nice view. Room was very comfortable. Was unaware Gold Coast was an Airbnb type property. Difficulty with getting tv to work. After talking on phone with 3rd party customer svc agent with strong international accent for some time and getting nowhere, another staff person showed up at our door. Amazing! After investigation of problem for around 10-15 minutes, she realized the controller's batteries were deficient. Aftet installing new batteries, controller and tv worked fine. Please write up specific step by step instructions for getting tv to work... and which of the 3 controllers i should be using... thank you.

Clean rooms, great support from Kasa. Note this was a virtual hotel. No staff on site. Provided with entry code to building and room via email on date of arrival. Nice lounge with business center, books, available bicycle and coffee. Note no soda machines or ice machines on site. More like B & B.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean & cute. The kitchenette was great to have -- very modern too. The price was excellent for the location.

I wish there was a deadbolt on the door (for extra security/peace of mind). I also wish there was an icemaker on site as well as a complimentary 1-serving package of coffee to go with the coffee pot that was provided. Lastly, the walls were very thin -- we heard our neighbors next to us & above us both at night & in the morning.

I booked it thru Bookings.com. Extremely confusing! They indicated that only cash was acceptable. No credit cards. Then I got a text from you all while I was enroute,saying you needed a credit card . Refrigerator was too small. Directions for entering the building were not clearly stated. ( nothing about punching in a “check” mark). Room could have had an extra chair & a table and a clock

Loved chairs on balcony and the view! Bed was comfy. The facility was lovely with plenty of places to sit and relax outside of the room.

There was hair on the counter, sand on the floor and looked like someone had just shaved in shower. Now that I know there's no staff on-site I would bring my lysol and paper towels. So Housekeeping was the only thing lacking in my experience. For the price I paid for the room I would deal with it and stay again.

The check in time is later than most lodging.i requested early check at 1:30 but it wasn’t possible. It was a Monday night and it didn’t appear booked. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. It was clean, comfortable and had a lovely view of the bay.
