Location is ideal and made the stay worth it! AC was great. Bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating! Room was clean.

It is very minimalistic and cold due to cement floors and walls. Not even a simple coffee maker in the rooms. The room, aesthetically, didn’t really live up to the pictures online. In addition, some rooms we booked had a foul odor. There were robes but no luggage holders. Would have liked to have luggage holders and in room coffee makers instead of robes. We were there on a peak weekend, so price was outrageous compared to what we got. So it was a little disappointing, but we still had a nice time.

I enjoyed everything about staying at this property, while traveling for work and needing 2 nights to stay, right in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs. You can walk to everything on the Braodway, where this lodging place is located to stay; and, not need a car to visit the shops & enjoy a nice place to eat, ay night or during the day. They have a parking-lot & an alternative parking-ramp behind the Motor lodge & you get a pass from the front desk to park there. The front desk receptionist, Semira, was so kind and excellent in helping me check-in and show me around the lodge and my room and the coffee bar, freshly brewed coffee 'ready' in the morning. She was a definite help and a great resource in telling me cool places that were great for dining & going out.

I can't really think of anyting that I didn't like becuase the Bluebird Spa City Motor Lodge was exactly the right fit for what I needed, in modern amenities, for staying over, to work in Saratoga Springs, NY. I had a hair dryer and hot water and lots of fresh towels, plus an iron board & iron to press my clothes. I loved the sitting area on the roof-top too!!

Location can't be beat for experiencing downtown Saratoga by foot. Parking can be challenging since the lot is small, but there is a free public garage nearby. Staff is friendly. Beds are comfy. Decor is simple and attractive.

Rooms are minimalist, which looks nice, but they lack some things that would make them more comfortable, like adequate hooks for hanging towels/clothes, and lighting other than an overhead fixture. Due to its location downtown, it can be noisy at night--you will hear the sounds of nightlife downtown, sirens, and people returning to the hotel very late. The space is cavernous, so noise within the building is amplified as well.

Funky hotel right in the centre of the strip, close walking distance to best bars and restaurants.

The location was great. Bluebird was extremely comfortable; bed & towels were huge & plush feeling. Did not hear street noise or conversations from other rooms. Loved the 24 hr coffee available!! Front desk staffers were really pleasant & helpful; unique design & wonderful stay.

Only reason NOT Excellent was a slight whistling noise that I noticed in the huge interior. Luckily it could only be heard faintly from the room with tv off. Not sure if it was the a/c, but they were trying to fix it. Otherwise, a great hotel!

Location, staff, cleanliness, balcony , coffee, view of Broadway, comfy bed, we walked everywhere- track, restaurants, and shops all there.

Although we recognize the open shower design is popular in new hotels, water leaked onto floor no matter how hard we tried.

Breakfast is not provided, wasn't helpful with little kids. It was difficult for the parents to run around with kids early morning to grab the breakfast, before the chess tournament we all came in for.

Friends zone room is not so great.... No breakfast was a turn off (but fortunately you guys are right on the strip, so not so tough to go grab it on easy mornings but not when you are rushing for early morning commitments).

The building and adaption of the space was brilliant. Very much enjoyed the physical space and the friendly staff.

My only issue, and a minor one, was disappointing water pressure. I consoled myself with the realization I was taking a warm shower in a clean and neatly appointed private room miles away from home after a safe and comfortable sleep. Pretty good really.

This was a very cool motel-recast-as-boutique-hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was perfect -- right in town.

The common area was quite cold, but maybe this is just due to 'transitional weather' in spring. The room doors open into the common area, and it's a little surprising that your room is visible from that area. I'm not sure there's room for a vestibule, but maybe something else for privacy?

The location was excellent. The hotel is in the middle of town and there are many restaurants and shops around it. The staff was very nice. The room is basic but it has everything you need.

I liked the room's modern interior but I still can't get used to the no-door shower. No matter how you try to be careful, you end up having a lot of water on the floor.
