The location is very centrally located in downtown Cleveland with easy walking distance to sites such as the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The building is really unique as it used to be the board of education building. The room, for example, had exceptionally high ceilings. They provide breakfast, dinner, and evening drinks. The dinner was much better than I was expecting.

This is no fault of the establishment, but the Cleveland marathon was running at the time of the visit that woke us up early each morning. They did though email us beforehand to warn us. While I said the dinner was great, the breakfast was pretty average for US hotel breakfasts. This is not a big deal, but I'm still looking for a US hotel that provides a breakfast at the level of quality of even simple European hotels. A minor upgrade on this would be very nice.

Room was big, bed and pillows were comfortable. The 3 free drinks and the dinner/snack happy hour from 5:30-7 is a nice bonus. Breakfast is included although we didn't make it so can't comment on quality of it. Nice location within walking distance to alot of restaurants and the casino.

The only 3 things I could say I didn't like was the hot tub looked liked it could use cleaning, and we were on the second floor so we could here alot from the lobby in our room but it did quiet down by 10 p.m. Also, the valet parking is 43$ a night but we chose to park at a very close by parking garage and paid 25$ a night.

Breakfast exceeded expectations. The Drury provided a full selection of complimentary breakfast options, unlike many hotels that offer only coffee/tea/pastries. The food was freshly prepared, hot and delicious. The wait staff were attentive and obviously well trained in customer service - certainly a credit to food services manager, Candace, who made us feel welcome. We were very pleased with the room. The decor was elegant yet modern; queen beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious and the high ceilings throughout were amazing. Help was needed with the AC: technician Brandon, came promptly and was both friendly and informative.

We did not like what appeared to be a $1.50 "fee" charged by the hotel for tipping the parking valets. We find that to be inappropriate. Profit in the form a convenience fee billed by the hotel is a ripoff of your employees. Management should hang their head...

Clean room, friendly/helpful staff & great location

Breakfast crew is hustling, friendly & attentive. We didn't make it for happy hour but that is a nice option we hope to utilize if we visit again. Please consider extending bar/kitchen hours especially when there are special events in town (concerts, games, etc.) The kitchen & bar staff were very accommodating to prep food, but we felt bad because there was quite a "rush" at 11:30-11:45 pm after people got back from the concert. By having posted hours e.g. kitchen closes 1 hour before the bar etc (most places do this) this would give your staff and guests the notice they need to plan accordingly.

Very clean. Spotless. Staff extremely friendly. Very helpful. Beautiful historic building. Updated very tastefully. Have a wonderful bar and lounge there. Also they have a great breakfast buffet with lots of options. Hot and cold foods in the morning. They also offer free dinner in the evening from 530 to 7. You get a card for three complementary drinks each night that you are there. The free dinner is pretty good. One night was chicken fettuccine Alfredo. One night they had tacos. But besides the main entrée. They also have delicious hot dogs. They remind me of a ballpark dog.And they also had nachos available. You cannot beat the price of this hotel for what you get. They offer valet parking at the hotel. For $40 a night. The staff that handles the parking is very efficient. If you don’t want to park there, there is other options across the street and I do not know what they cost. But it was just convenient for us to park there. this place is spotless and clean. It is a family owned business. The staff has a very good work ethic. And they are excellent when it comes to customer relations. I wish all hotels were like this place. I will look for an excuse to go back to Cleveland just to stay here!😊 it is very conveniently located to the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame and both stadiums and other arenas. All of it is very very close. The Christmas story House is also very close. You can literally walk out in the courtyard of the hotel and look and see the seats of the baseball stadium not a hard walk at all. you get a lot here for a great price! Our room with two queen beds was huge. With a television in it. Then we had a hallway that led to a huge living room. With a pull out sofa bed. And a chair. Microwave. Refrigerator. Coffee maker. Also TV in the living room. The city is very clean and safe and people are friendly. Easy to drive and navigate around the city. No heavy traffic like other cities. There is nothing not to like about this place! Absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful historic building in a great location. Incredibly professional and helpful staff. Room was spotless, quiet, and blissfully dark with the blinds closed. Complimentary breakfast and light dinner fare were an incredible amenity that kept us from having to find food outside the building when our time was at a premium.

Late service at the Teacher's Lounge bar was a bit slow due to minimal staffing. My wife waited nearly 25 minutes to get a Sprite, and then was told off when she reminded the server. Granted, the server was overwhelmed as she was handling a full table plus three other couples who arrived before us and it was an hour to close. But my wife felt dismissed as she wasn't immediately putting in an order for food or alcohol. She was waiting for me to return from the restroom. We put in an online order while we waited instead and I then had to request the Sprite again. It was a minor blip in an otherwise spectacular stay.

The amenities were amazing- we couldn’t believe all you get for the price they charge for the room- a full, hot breakfast; a happy hour dinner with drinks; popcorn, water station, coffee/tea 24 hours - all complimentary! The staff were all super friendly & helpful. The building was formerly a Board of Ed building- so it’s filled with funky features like old-fashioned mail shoots & marble everywhere. Great location - easy walk to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Not sure if all Drury Hotels are like this, but they won us over!

Pillows weren’t great

We arrived early, and had requested early check-in. Room wasn't ready so our luggage was stored in a private room. Two hours later, we were able to check in. Room only had a king bed, and was on the small side. It was ok, nothing exceptional for the price we paid for the three nights. Breakfast was good, but was exactly the same during our three night stay. Food should have been changed up a bit. Got tired of eating the same breakfast food. Their 5:30 kickback was very nice. There was a different selection of hot food each day with complimentary 3 drinks. Would definitely stay at a Drury Plaza Inn again.

I didn't like that each morning for three mornings they offered the same hot breakfast items. I think if they changed it up a bit, breakfast would be more enjoyable.

Room was so gorgeous and plenty of space for my daughter and I to spread out! We LOVED the pool and hot tub. The Free drinks and dinner was unexpected and so wonderful. The valet parking/parking price was so convenient and the amount was way cheaper than I thought/expected (compared to most downtown hotel valets) Also loved the mini fridge and microwave in my room. I had such a wonderful stay, I wish we could have stayed a few more days.

I was a little frustrated on Sunday regarding my room. We checked in Saturday and checked out Monday. We were across the street at the Hilton all day Sunday for a Dance Convention and we left around 7:15 and were not back until after 4pm. Early that Sunday morning my child had spilled her whole bottle of apple juice on the bed and it had soaked through the sheets down to the mattress pad. I removed all linens and placed in the corner of the room. I told the front desk. So they were aware that I needed a whole new bedding set. When we got back around 4, nothing was done, the room was still messy, no clean sheets or towels. However as soon as i called down and told them they had. It done within the next 30 minutes so I was very grateful. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!!!!

This is a very cool place to stay. Even though the building was older, the facilities were modern inside. The valet parking actually turned out to be a pretty good idea., Jack at the front desk was so helpful and friendly.. overall the staff were professional and courteous. The complimentary breakfast and dinner made life so easy. I say that because by dinner time we were too tired to go searching for a restaurant. The breakfast options were great. The hotel was centrally located, and a 15 minute walk or 5 minute Uber ride to the Rock and roll Hall of Fame.

There isn't anything I can say that I didn't like. It did rain one day but that's not the hotel's fault.
