We usually stay at the Double Tree in Green Tree, when we travel for my daughters classes. The price is usally three times more than what I paid this trip! And Honestly I was way more satisfied with Comfort Inn. Their Pool was open, There was a microwave in the room, there were plenty of towles and washclothes. The room was very clean and neat, the employees were great, and we used the late check otu which helped tremendously as we had a late class to attend, There was a very nice restaurant within walking distance.. Id say 10 out of 10. The value cant be beat. Thanks again.

Everything was great besides the screamig kids running up and down the halls. which cant really be helped. The staff did try to control the screaming coming from the pool area. We actually left the pool because it was so loud it hurt my ears. But again, that isnt a Hotel defect, thats just bad parenting,

What I like about this hotel is the price and proximity to downtown Pittsburgh. With no traffic this is a 5 minute drive to some of the biggest Tourist attractions in Pittsburgh. Also the microwave was a massive plus, even some nice hotels don't have that. The fridge is a must have as well.

You had to ask an employee to get into the pool and gym, not a big deal but would be better to just get in with the keycard since theyre so close to the lobby they can be monitored easily anyway. On that topic there was some... interesting guest that wanted to stare at me through the window multiple times while I swam. If i was a woman i probably would have been creeeped out and probably got out, I think the person had special needs but adding a curtain there that people can put down would encourage people to use it more as i didnt see anyone else use it and you dont want random people who may or may not have manner staring at you while you're trying to relax as the pool is on the way to the elevator to get up so every guest going into thier room passes.

It was clean. My wife and child enjoyed the pool, which wasn't busy but was constantly in use. The breakfast had a great selection, waffles, fruit, cereal, tea, juice, coffee.

The size of the room was unexpectedly small. King and pull out couch, with a half wall divider. There goes intimacy. How you sleeping son. Buzz kill. Should have paid the little extra for the same name hotel overlooking the river. Front door was locked upon arrival, a worker left us in the side door...

The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Pittsburgh downtown area with a family or business visit. The breakfast area can tend to be busy which could be addressed by being an early riser. Extended breakfast time of 6am - 9am provides this flexibility. The housekeeping facility had kept the room, bathroom and the bed clean. The team made all efforts to make our short visit comfortable.

The shower didn't work.Very little water came out of the shower head. Only running out of bath spout.The drain was clogged in the bathtub.Not a great location.. Hard to navigate off of busy main road. Lousy view of road and parking lot Tiny pool which was jam packed with people . Small fitness room. full with unsupervised children using the weights and treadmills.Very unsafe.Arrival night staff friendly .The day manager barely acknowledged us or asked if we enjoyed our stay.

I was there 2 weeks. All went well except for 2 things.

The room telephone never worked. I reported it 4 times. There was no dial tone and they could not fix it. Also, the pillows were terrible. They were so flat. I used 4 pillows to make 1 pillow. There room sign says --- we have firm and flat pillows -- just ask us. They had no firm pillows.

The room size was fantastic. Super clean and had a fresh scent. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. Would definitely return

And this is not the hotels fault ....but....the walls seem paper thin. We could hear the TV next door and conversations in the hallway very easily. And the night we stayed, unfortunately, very inconsiderate clientele roomed down the hall. Partying all night, coming down for ice (the ice machine was right near our room) often and carrying on very loud conversations. At 5:45 am, a couple was having a loud argument right near our door. VERY inconsiderate. And when we walked out in the morning, a VERY strong marijuana smell filled the hallway. Disgusting.

It was clean and convenient to get to from Acrisure Stadium, guy at the counter was friendly!

My only complaint was the elevator was really sketchy. It made some weird noises and was a little jerky. I also don’t know if it’s required in Pennsylvania, but I saw no permit or anything saying it was on file. My kids and myself were a little scared to get on it after a few times so we just took the stairs. That’s not a deal breaker I’d still stay there.

Got an excellent deal with our King Room suite - definitely one of the nicest and largest I’ve been in for the price. The room was very clean and comfortable, and had all the necessities. Bathroom was also very clean and while not the largest tub shower, was roomy enough for my husband (6’ 2”) to not feel stifled in. The location was a great middle point for going downtown or in the surrounding areas to see the sites. Good array of fast dining restaurants nearby if that’s your speed, however local dining is but a 10-15 mins drive away. Breakfast is a standard continental but a very nice selection. No complaints about the food really. The pool is a bit small but the temperature was comfortable to swim in considering how cold the weather was that weekend. Didn’t use the gym but took a peek and the amenities looked decent. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any of our questions and needs.

If you need “a room with a view” this might not be the location for you. But if you need a great place to rest your head close to the city but away from the chaos, take a chance here.

Staying in Comfort Inn is always good value for the money. The room is spacious, clean, with comfortable beds, lots of device charging ports and good bathroom. I highly recommend Comfort Inn, it is a no-nonsense, honest lodging.

I cannot think of any negative aspects of my stay relating to the hotel itself. However, being close to highway, and kind of in a remote area, the options for food, especially later in the night, are very limited.
