Clean, comfortable bedding, good AC. Great location to downtown Pittsburgh. Friendly staff.

Some items falling apart like the soap bottle wasn’t installed properly and left to be on shelf. The plug on bathtub is missing and in the morning they run out of cold water, so that the shower running very hot. This is very strange for not being reported by the house keeper for breakage. I didn’t have time to let the hotel know. But after all it is good enough for us to go back the second time. This is just a constructive input.

The breakfast was good but pricey.The rooms were spacious and the shower stayed hot.Temperature was easy to control in the room.

There were very young children in the pool area shooting water guns and using the hot tub like it was a pool.Jumping in and out and splashing the other guests.Most hot tubs don’t allow young children and it’s a medical fact that small children should not be in a hot tub as it raises their body temperature too quickly.Lawsuit waiting to happen and also very unenjoyable for the older guests who just want to relax

Beautiful Hotel, Nice Lobby area

I hesitate to bring this up, but given the price of $247.00 per night, I expected courteous service from the employees during breakfast. When we requested that one of the staff members remove the empty dishes from our table so we could continue enjoying the breakfast buffet, we received a dismissive look and an unpleasant attitude in response. Please consider providing better training for your employees. Thank you.

The facilities were clean, beds very comfortable, and the check in staff were very professional. We had a corner room, prob considered a suite, and had so much room to move around in. There was a sink, dish washer, microwave and full size fridge and all utensils necessary to cook simple meals. We could not hear any noise from the hallways or those above and below us! This was a definite plus!!

The building is huge so navigating the grounds could be a little tricky.

The front desk staff is nothing short of exceptional. The staff in the food service areas in my opinion are nothing short of professional courteous and very well trained and customer oriented. I've been stuck here for days on end due to some other than pleasant circumstances and my experience with this hotels staff has made my stay a very wonderful experience during some other than optimum circumstances. From the front desk to food service to the sales manager I must say that I've not been treated this well possibly ever and that speaks volumes for a man that has been traveling for 40+ years. I hesitate to mention names for fear of leaving ones out but Georganna at front desk as well as Ashley and the other managers to Shane in food service and Cris the director of sales and marketing as well as all others I've had an interaction with have provided nothing short of exemplary service and should be recognized for their efforts.

I have zero complaints about any employee on any level or in any position. Again I suggest that the staff here be recognized for their abilities and the service they provide.

I kept checking and the website it stated free breakfast but it wasn't free and was a little disappointed in that aspect. Also thr hot tub the kids kept jumping in and out and couldn't really enjoy the hot tub

I really liked the front desk staff. They were very kind and welcoming when we arrived. They also looked up my membership and applied my points for this visit. That was exceptional customer service proving that going above and beyond to meet and exceed guests expectations is a normal practice and it should not go unnoticed!

Our experience in the restaurant was less than stellar. We ordered an appetizer and two meals. The appetizer came, but it took a very long time for the entrees to come. The bartender came and informed us that what we ordered was not thawed out and could not be prepared right away after we had already waited almost 45 minutes. So we changed one of the meals to the same thing to make it easier. The bartender offered to take the meal off of the tab which we appreciated. That was very nice of her. However, the lack of prompt notice of this made us late to our engagement. I’m not sure if it was miscommunication or oversight, but this is a teachable moment for all I’m sure. We’re all human so I understand ppl make mistakes.

I love the property and the bar in the hotel. Food is amazing. Todd (restaurant manager) and Michelle (bartender) are amazing people and take the time to speak with us one on one. Amazing experience

Everything was phenomenal. Stayed here 3 times in the past year and will be back around August/september timeframe. Not one bad thing to say about the doubletree!!

Staff is very friendly and very clean . Good location .

The air conditioner was really loud and was hard to set to stay at certain temperature. It stayed really stuffy in our room . No microwave in the king sized room . Only had one wash cloth for 2 people.

We loved everything about our stay. We arrived and checked in. I asked about the indoor pool since we knew they had one and my nephew was excited to use it. Unfortunately it was closed due to maintenance. Then the room we were supposed to have with a tub did not have one. And the check in host let me know and she saw we were disappointed. She immediately upgraded our room. I mean like really upgraded. I've never seen such an amazing room. Our jaws literally hit the floor . The room had 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, master bedroom, working area. It was stunning. All the staff we ran into and talked to were super friendly. The hotel and the restaurant were super cleaned. We really loved our stay and will probably be booking again soon. Hopefully the pool will be open. But my wife and nephew and I were very happy.
