First, you have to know why we were there. We live locally. With the round of severe weather predicted and the type of home we live in and no public shelters, we decided it was best to get a hotel. The place was very clean. Quiet and the bed was huge.

When I booked on line it was for a place that allowed pets. I thought that the agreed price online covered that charge so I didn't give much thought to the fact that the price seemed a little high. After all, this place is more of a "motel" than a "hotel". I was then blindsided at the place for additional fees for my dog. We're senior citizens on a fixed income and this probably cost us a weeks groceries.

The location and the fact they offered breakfast

It’s a decent property in a great location. It was clean for the most part there were a few areas where it could’ve been cleaner, but nothing that was major. The room was clean, but the walls needed painting. The baseboards in the hall, looked old. The elevator walls looked old. The hotel itself just looked old and kind of beat up, but the overall cleanliness was good. The location was good and the staff was really nice and the price was right.

The whole experience was exceptional! We ended up staying four nights. Our room was absolutely quiet and the bed was the most comfortable bed ever! The staff was wonderful! Breakfast fantastic! It's apparent the owners take pride in their property.

Nothing it was perfect!

***I STAYED IN JULY*** The manager said she refunded the full amount for this stay, as I stayed in July and somehow selected September first instead. The staff has a "Yes, sir" attitude in general.

***I STAYED IN JULY*** I don't know what card they sent the refund to, so I handed it over to Booking.com. I was told at the last minute about the refund with my ...reactively, not proactively when I sent the request in July and followed up.

The location was perfect

Computers were down when I tried to check-in. Had to wait an extra hour. Looked like they were in the middle of renovations so things were a bit disorderly.

Convenient location. Although lobby was 60ish decorations, it was clean and well kept. Staff and front desk very nice. Bed comfortable, nice wood floor plus great value for price.

Greatly enjoyed the (2) breakfast meals. Being a first-time visitor to your area, this was a good location for getting about. Only stayed in Hixson area. Our families live there.

Back/side doors , not secure , no working locks , anyone can get in. Bathroom could have been given more attention as far as cleaning.

Room was comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Breakfast was ok but could use some items for lighter eaters like fruit and yogurt.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything I needed was provided promptly.

Little pricey for what you get.
