I loved the lobby area! Too cool. Lots of games and cute decorations. Nice little snack and drink area and bar area. Rooms were very clean, sheets and all. Shower was mostly clean.

I didn't like that pets were welcomed because we had to hear one dog barking all night long and could not sleep. We were downtown Memphis. Its pretty dirty. But I really wish someone would fix up downtown because the building are so historical and beautiful. Make a it a real Blues area and show the history of Memphis.

We really liked the lobby bar area. It was a great place to grab a free brewed coffee in the morning (espresso for purchase). We had the breakfast sandwich one morning and it was really good. They also offer a good selection of snacks and drinks for purchase. There was a selection of fresh towels, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. available on 3 different floors as well as a business area on the 3nd floor with printers. Our King room was a good size for what we needed, just a small table and chair, but a big comfortable bed and flat screen tv if we wanted to watch anything. The shower was huge with great water pressure.

We were a little further away from Beale Street and some of the other attractions on South Main Street but Beale was still walkable distance and there was scooters and e-bikes for rent nearby. Memphis is not known for its public transportation and the historic trolley system is currently not in service.

I loved the design, the atmosphere, the room (both the cleaning and details of the decor - there was even a small guitar to play in the room!) Good parking valet I would definitely stay there again if going to Memphis again!

They give you a voucher for drinks when you arrive - I did not understand there was no breakfast, otherwise instead of using the voucher for a bottle of water I would have used it to get something for breakfast (but there are some options on sale - I bought fruit and a yogurt) They could make it clearer when checking in.

The hotel is very modern and fancy. We liked that it is close to Beale Street. The room was quite basic, but clean. There's no room service unless you request it, but you can always get fresh towels or amenities from one of the "stations" on some floors. We didn't use valet parking, but used a parking house two blocks away, which was cheaper. There's a park behind the hotel with lots of cute squirrels. We got a welcome drink and coffee was free in the morning.

The area around the hotel is quite deserted apart from some homeless people who sleep in the park behind the hotel. They didn't bother us at all, though. They had 3 pinball machines in the lobby. Unfortunately two didn't really work well, but playing was free. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant or breakfast. You can get free coffee in the morning though (self service).

The location. I had no idea Memphis had gotten so dirty. The property was nice but I was told about the crime rate and not to be walking around after dusk. I grew up 70 miles north and cane to Memphis all my life. I couldn't believe it was now unsafe to walk to Beale Street after sundown! Incredible but we felt safe while we were staying there for the night.

I think it was a unique hotel and very lively. I loved the design and music. I loved how the seating areas were, games, bar etc. Really aesthetically pleasing. The location was wonderful as well.

It was unfortunate that we had to pay for breakfast and valet. Although Valet is understandable considering, but some hotels include at least one of those. Also, the rug in my room was wet to touch (whole rug) the floor itself wasn’t but the rug was noticeably wet. Neither breakfast or valet were too expensive, but overall I really liked the hotel, design, location, cleanliness etc

Everything apart from the enforced valet service. Really I thoroughly enjoyed it and have recommended to friends , the beds, room size, staff, facilities etc are all awesome - just park a block away and you’re grand.

Paying for a valet service when my car was parked less than 5 metres away is a bit of a joke. Parking in the city elsewhere is largely free so quite a slap on the face to get it.

All in all a good experience. The Moxy was a great place to stay, the service was fantastic. Memphis however was a little disappointing. With the exception of Graceland and the events surrounding Graceland, there really wasn't much to do. Beale street is unkept and seemed extremely dangerous to visitors. You would think that the city of Memphis would do a better job in maintaining and upkeeping such an historical place especially as it pertains to tourists.

Memphis was a little too dirty, slummy and came across as unsafe. There really wasn't much of a night life, with the exception of Beale street, but you get real tired of Beale street after a couple nights and the mass shooting last Saturday didn't help the situation.

The vibe was Gen X meets Millennials. Definitely a party vibe and always something to do and someone to see. Loved the LP decor, very hip. The location was really great for accessing good restaurants and attractions via walk or trolley.

Not a lot of food options. Had to wear my earplugs to sleep but thankful they were there. It took 20 mins to check in because there was only one person working check-in at 3:00pm and I wasn't allowed to check in earlier.

Design hotel focused on music and rock. The lobby is a show in itself. We were greeted with fish to spend at the lobby bar, valid for having a free drink (a much appreciated thought). The hotel is practically on central street, a couple of blocks from the Mississippi. Large and clean room. I would definitely go back if I had to. Presence of (convenient) paid parking in front of the hotel, price in line with the rest of the USA.

Just for info, not depending on the hotel: in the central area there are many homeless people, but they don't bother anyone. We walked and toured all over downtown (to Baley Street) in the late evenings and always felt safe. Ditto the next day in the Lorraine Motel area. Memphis was probably worth a two day visit, great city.
