Lovely hotel. Ducks were funny 2 blocks to Beale Street The happy hour & live music was great

One morning there was no one at the door/counter at the grill restaurant so I just walked in & sat at a table for 2 The restaurant was half empty Then the woman who was supposed to be at the front came over & told me off quite rudely for "assigning myself " a table. I said no one was there & she said she wS literally gone for 45 seconds. I said well that must've been the 45 seconds when I walked in ! It put me off going back there for breakfast as she was unnecessarily rude & made me feel uncomfortable. Not pleasant. I didn't go back again

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and steeped in history. The room was fabulous, beautiful decor and excellent attention to detail. The pillows embroidered with ducks and little duck shaped soaps in the bathroom added to the experience. Staff were very friendly and professional, the valet service was efficient and speedy and the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Beale Street. Graceland is only a 15 minute drive away too. Our son is a huge Elvis fan, so we requested a room on the 6th floor as in July 1956, Elvis participated in a photo shoot at the Peabody, specifically in a room on this floor. The hotel accommodated this which made our trip more special. We had cocktails in the magnificent bar area and our son had a Peabody chocolate duck which he said was delicious. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Nothing. The hotel and our 3 nights there were perfect in every way.

It really is the “Jewel of the South”! From the moment you walk in to the piano lounge you are greeted with a captivating fragrance that will lull you into a calm and relaxing disposition. Everything about our stay was perfect! We felt pampered by the staff, the amenities, the restaurant and bar. The rooms were well appointed and of course the duck march is a bonus! Didn’t get to visit the dick palace as it was being remodeled, but that’s ok just another excuse to come back! The Peabody deli had delectable desserts, and the Peabody gift shop had a grand assortment of everything duck:) Great drinks at the corner bar, great drinks at the lobby bar. We used the gym, pool and jacuzzi daily which were well maintained. So happy we extended our stay to 3 nights before driving to Nashville for another 3 nights. Once our vacation came to an end, and we landed in California my kids and husband said “we’ll always have the Peabody!” And indeed we will in our hearts and memories.

Only one complaint is the pool area had what seemed to be a baby roach problem. We set our complimentary hot teas on the tables as we enjoyed the pool. When we came out for a sip, I noticed one baby roach near it, when I opened it up there was one in the tea! Upon closer look, there were several crawling around the lounge chairs. Not sure why this was since the entire area was immaculate and clean.

The Peabody Hotel was gorgeous. It had history and was so beautiful. The staff were all so responsive and welcoming. We definitely enjoyed the Duck Master and the duck walks as well as the bar on the lobby level. It was just a fun place to stay! Loved the location, only two blocks from Beale Street and parking was so easy with the valet parking.

One suggestion is to have a bathtub rail to ensure safety for us older visitors when entering and exiting the tub. Also, the shower curtain was short and its length could not keep the water from dripping out of the bath enclosure. I spoke with the housekeeper who replaced our curtains quickly which addressed the problem.

The location of the hotel is great and we got there just in time to see the end of the duck walk, which was nice. The room was a good size for the 4 of us and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also very nice and the wait staff there were very friendly and helpful.

The wait for the valet cars was a bit much. We didn't submit our request until we left our room, but noticed that a lot of guests had vehicles waiting for them for a while (over 20 minutes with no one there to even leave in the car). I guess next time we'll go ahead and request our car 30 min before we actually need it so we can have it waiting for us too

The Peabody has a wonderful "Old World" feel. It's all about being taken care of with the service being exceptional and the staff members friendly and willing to help when ever asked. The hotel lobby is charming and welcoming. The Duck March was, of course, a fun experience. The cocktails are absolutely delicious! The breakfast was wonderful. Free coffee in the deli was always hot and ready. We had Dinner for our anniversary in the Capriccio Grill. ( The bread board is worth a try)Tempatures on the steaks were dead on. The only negative was we were seated at a very small table in the middle of the restraunt being too busy to have a quite corner to enjoy conversation with our meal. Staff buzzing around both sides of us. Otherwise we had a lovely time and will be back.

The Peabody is in a beautiful building, it feels really grand and is well placed to walk down to Beale St. Room was lovely and bed was super comfortable! Loved all the duck touches... soap, chocolates, pictures! Seeing the Peabody duck march was super fun to watch... just be warned at weekends it is very popular and to get a front row seat you need to be there at least an hour beforehand!

The only thing we would say is our bathroom was a little on the small side and the space for the toilet was tiny, but that was probably as we were a corner room.

The Duck Master was an absolute STAR. Kenan went beyond the norm and made our Day with his care and interest on our Cancer journey. He was compassionate and the Duck Cane he presented to me was much appreciated. It will offer support around the world on my travels. and will needed it in the future. Fond Memories of Kenan ,the Duck walk occasion and the Peabody. A Great representative and Role Model for the Hotel. Rgs John and Joy Lewer. Great hotel, great location! 99% of the staff was great.

There were blood or make-up stains on our shower curtain and a few of the towels. Whoever checked us in wasn't very nice. Just mechanical, not personable at all. We didn't even know our room came with a turn down service and I was so embarrassed when we came back after going to a baseball game and to dinner. I left clothes out and some personal belongings I would have much rather had hidden (put up and away) if I knew housekeeping came into the room. Whoever was working along side of her was extremely pleasant! The rest of the staff was very friendly, respectful, and just nice to be around.

The check-in process was seamless, and valet staff were especially courteous and helpful. My room was clean and well-kept. They went above and beyond by providing a dog food and water bowl, a mat, and even a Peabody toy for my pup. I enjoyed randomly seeing the ducks enjoy the water fountain in the lobby.

The pool and jacuzzi area were a major letdown. There were roaches crawling around, particularly near the jacuzzi (I have photos and video). It was a clear sign that the area needs more thorough cleaning and professional extermination.
