All the amenities! The pool and waterslide were a hit with our children. The hotel was very clean and so much fun!

Everyday we smelled marijuana. It was in the hallways and elevator. We didn’t like the fact the refrigerator was so tiny. We prefer a full size or at least a larger mini fridge. I would have liked to of had a bath tub for our children. The shower was difficult to wash three children in but we definitely liked the size of the shower for adults. We also were taken back by the pay for parking aspect. We’ve stayed at this lodge before and wasn’t expecting to pay to park at a lodge we were staying at.

We were treated so nicely by all the staff. The property itself was pretty cool. It did offer a lot of activities for parents and children of all ages. We went with two children under 5 and still had a blast. Our room was very clean on arrival. The rv park also looked pretty cool. We ate at the breakfast buffet and thought highly of it with a fair amount of options to choose from. The pools and bathrooms were clean. And the view from the balcony rooms was stunning.

My only real dissatisfaction was the lazy river didn't have many floats and a lot of them were damaged or unusable. The mini fridge was very mini.

Atmosphere & Theme • The lodge has a laid-back, tropical vibe in the middle of the Smoky Mountains, which makes it feel relaxing and fun. • The Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville theme gives it a cheerful, vacation-style atmosphere that feels different from a typical mountain lodge. Location • It’s right in Pigeon Forge, so you’re close to The Island, Dollywood, restaurants, and attractions. • The lodge still manages to feel like a retreat even though it’s in the heart of the action. Comfort & Amenities • The rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy, with balconies that often have great mountain or river views. • The pool and outdoor lounging areas make it easy to relax between adventures. • On-site dining and easy access to Margaritaville restaurants mean you don’t always have to drive to eat.

Room Comfort • Bigger, more supportive pillows – to make the beds feel more luxurious and ensure a good night’s sleep. • Offering a “pillow menu” with different firmness levels could also improve comfort for all guests. Amenities & Details • Some guests note that a few extra in-room touches (like USB charging ports by the bed, or more seating options on balconies) would be helpful. • Expanding poolside seating could make the outdoor space even more enjoyable during busy times. Dining & Convenience • Adding more late-night food or snack options on-site could improve convenience for travelers who stay out enjoying Pigeon Forge.

We absolutely loved the views and the entryway with the fireplace, and all the amenities. There is so much to do and it was so much fun for us and for our kids. We were lucky to be one of the only guests and it be so empty.

I only didn’t like the staff member at breakfast who didn’t seem to care for the fact we changed our minds and chose not to eat there due to the cost; we hadn’t even sat down yet. She seemed to take it offensively that we felt $71 was pricey for our family and she said it’s about what we would pay elsewhere for breakfast, which isn’t true. You can pick up breakfast anywhere for less than $71. She should have just said no worries at all and thanked us and left it at that versus commenting on my son being 12 and that’s why it costs us more — albeit, my son was 10 and it was my daughter who was 12. But again, not something she should have commented on. I feel like breakfast should be ALOT cheaper. Many hotels offer free breakfast. It’s just not affordable for a family to eat there.

This is my favorite hotel in the whole United States for my family! We have stayed here five different times since it opened for quick weekend getaways. I compare the experience with going on a cruise. Everyone is so friendly and there is so much to do. The restaurant is fabulous!!! There is no other hotel anywhere that is as welcoming and wonderful! I’m so thankful for everyone who has worked here since this location opened. I just wish I had more time to spend and enjoy more of the property’s amenities!

The chairs by the fireplace need a little tlc! The rope bottom is unraveling.

While we would have appreciated a complimentary breakfast, the paid breakfast has good options and cost was reasonable. The overall vibe at the resort was very nice and appreciated all of the amenities. We loved that we could bring our pup along with us. We would have loved an option to have our dog walked during the day while we were away for an additional fee.

Everything was really great. Only negative I recall is that the noise from video games in arcade is loud and our room was situated directly above a particularly loud motorcycle game that we could hear when it was played.

The good: There are plenty of activities for the kids to do and because it is such a small Hotel, it never feels crowded or overwhelming. Lazy river and pool were both great and heated. Hotel is clean and rooms were huge. Turndown service was on point. Location is perfect. Very easy to learn the hotel, layout is great. The not so good: *So many added fees at check-in so be prepared. *$50 a night hold on your card. This is in addition to your booking charge. We didn't know this till check-in so be prepared. *$10 a day for parking. *Breakfast is equivalent to a free continental breakfast any other hotel BUT they charge $15 pet person. This should be free. *Anything in the hotel store is wildly overpriced. Example: $4 for a Sprite, $6.50 for a bottle of milk. *Some staff members were good like the bartender downstairs. Additional staff needed some training, so much confusion was there, including incorrect charges for food/dinner orders due to language barriers the staff had. * Very thin walls, you hear everything.

The Lodge at Camp Margaritaville totally exceeded our expectations!!! The cleanliness of the the Lodge was impeccable. Everyone was extremely friendly, especially our server Matt at Fins. He was amazing and made us feel so welcomed! The location is perfect! We loved that it was set back a little bit from the major roadways but we could get to everything we needed to within a short time. The beds and the pillows were the most comfortable we've ever had. It made the stay so much better! It was nice to sleep in a comfortable bed after long busy days! We also loved that there was so much to do onsite. Next time we stay, we will be leaving a couple of days open so we can just stay and hang out all day at the camp & lodge. We will not stay anywhere else but here when we come back and visit.

The room we booked was HUGE way bigger than anticipated. We booked the king suite with the kids cabin. Totally worth the money! The whole resort was nice live music playing upbeat fun atmosphere.

The only thing I didn’t care for was being directly above the bowling alley. However it was closed at a very reasonable hour so we were able to get a good nights sleep! If you have littles with an early bed time I would request to at least be on the 2nd floor. They accept the last bowlers at 8:45 so I’d say it was quite a little before 10 each night.
