The staff were very friendly with us. Our room was clean and comfortable. It’s an older, outdated hotel, but well took care of. The bar/restaurant was a plus, it was a little pricey, but that’s expected. Definitely worth it for the price.

Our only complaint was the pool was very dirty, my fiancé took the net and was getting stuff out so we could get in it. Also the free breakfast vouchers only get you pancakes and eggs, it is not all you can eat pancakes as the sign says.

Everything but I I requested a room but they said they can't make reservations for rooms so because I have COPD it was hard for me to get to the second floor so if I can the next time can I recommend a room on the bottom level

Well I thought I was going to get to read my requested but I found out I gave the wrong room number but then they informed me that they don't make reservations for rooms or request for rooms but they do for the bed size but means I have COPD I have to have the bottom level

This is exactly what we needed before our hike. A location as close to the entrance of the park as possible. It had a pool, a restaurant right there, and a place across to get the sandwiches we needed for the next day's hike. Very reasonably priced!

The pool was a bit dirty, breakfast was not served until 8:00 with no togo option.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Very friendly people.. We had an issue with our plumbing in our room, but they fixed it immediately and let us switch rooms. The location was great for us since we were going back and forth from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Free pancake and egg breakfast. Restaurant and bar on site. Beautiful room with wood accents instead of cookie cutter IKEA furniture and trim. Great location at the entrance of the Smokey Mountain National Park.

The bathtub drained slow.

The coffee maker in the lobby was great. The location of the property is good. We liked the 2nd floor patio area.

1) The safe in the room was inoperable. 2) The location of the ice machine SUCKS! Perhaps another one, for the front-facing rooms, could be provided. 3) The room rate was a little steep. 4) For this room rate, a simple breakfast could have been provided. 5) The Tavern was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. We arrived on a Monday, and were not even allowed, by the hostess, to stand at the bar to have a drink, as all the seats were taken. Never heard of such a thing. The Tavern should be open at least 6 days a week; closing on Sundays only, IMHO.

Very clean no litter and the hotels where also very clean including the bathrooms. Parking is easy to get to.

The place is on a hill but once you get to the parking it’s pretty flat.

The water pressure in the first building is very weak and the hot tub was not warm, it was cold.

Very clean and the staff was excellent! Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Location isn’t bad but if it’s busy it will take a while to get to most spots. If going to Gatlinburg, Wild Bear Inn is on the side of Pigeon Forge closest to there so that’s convenient. Overall great stay.

Walls are very thin and can hear people in room beside you. Also can hear the cars driving down the road and it can be kinda loud.

parking , it’s total chaos, people for restaurant use the hotel spots by rooms and if you park on the hill side close to restaurant and the hotel is booked you can’t leave cause sign is in the way
