Good value, and comfortable room.

The fixtures and furnishings were dated and worn. The kleenex dispenser in rhe bathroom had the cover removed and was empty. The vinyl on the bathroom floor was badly discolored around the edges from inadequate cleaning, which gave us a bit of a dirty feeling. There was no light fixture to provide light for the shower area, so we showered in a very dimly lit shower. I was never able to get my laptop to connect with the hotel wifi. I have never had a problem anywhere else, so I'm pretty sure it was due to a problem with the hotel wifi. Everything was adequate for our needs, but it was just "off" a bit.

Green Valley is a nice small family owned motel.The room was clean,which is something that can make it or break it for me,looked nice and the king room was plenty big enough for me,my husband,and our small dog.I enjoyed the full length mirror in the bathroom and it had plenty of room for simple meal prep as we like to save money by not eating out every meal while on vacation.There is a table and two chairs too.There is an outdoor pool but since we came in the fall we didn't get to use it.You can walk a short ways behind the motel and see ducks and geese swimming in the stream.I was worried before coming about it not being nice because I got such a great room rate but my fears were completely unfounded as we had a clean room, comfortable bed,and saw no bugs.

The office is not staffed all day and you don't have free breakfast but for the price that was ok and there is a grocery a very short distance away so getting simple breakfast food was not a problem.

We had booked the Days Inn across the road but they messed up our booking so found this one last minute. The staff were very friendly, easy parking and the room was massive. It has everything we needed and is conveniently placed on the strip.

The Green Valley Motel is prime location for being close to everything that you would want to do around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It's in a very good spot, and walking distance from good places to eat, too. It's fairly outdated, but the value is hard to beat in a pricey tourist town as this is.

The air unit under the window isn't enough to keep the room cool during the summer. It is still quite warm in the room, but not hot or unbearable. When I was there in late July of this year, i got a king suite room with jetted tub, the single air unit wasn't able to keep the entire room cool. It struggled for nearly the entire day. Only during night was it able to make a difference, the room maybe could use a ceiling fan perhaps to help circulate the cold air from the air unit.

Our room was huge with 2 full beds. It has very nice windows to let in a lot of light. The beds were comfortable. The wifi worked very well. It had a small kitchen table with chairs and another comfy chair. There was plenty of hot water. It was quiet at night. There is no elevator or stairs but ramps that lead up to each floor. I actually like that better than stairs or an elevator. The room was clean. The beds have mattress covers.

We stayed 2 nights and there was no maid service for our room. The bathtub faucet ran while you were taking a shower. The office opens late and closes at 11pm. You only get 1 key and it's a regular key and not a key card.

I really liked the value of the room. It came with all amenities. It's close to a few good places to eat at.

The size of the parking spaces. If you are planning on staying at this motel if would recommend driving a smaller suv or sedan. The stalls are very narrow for bigger vehicles. Also it's right next to a go-cart track. So there's that.

No breakfast. At least we wasn't told if there was 1 or not. We had only planned on staying 5 nights but at last minute we decided on 1 more night. At 1st they said we'd have to move to different room but few minutes later said we could keep the same room. I felt they went out of their way for us

I'm disabled and my husband's 70. It was really hard for us both to get in and out of pool. Definitely needs a rail to hold on to. We love to be in a pool but because of no rail we only got in 1 time Except for

Rooms was very clean, everything worked as should, and the beds was very comfy even for a old hotel

I love this hotel. This is the second time we have stayed there. My stay this time was almost a week. Whatever we needed. They would help us out. On our 3rd night there. I asked them for garage bags and if we could put our trash out. They where amazing. They came in brought extra bags and took out or trash. And even let my oldest help. Keep in mind. When I travel. I have 4 kids. This made his day. I love the fact that it's on the strip and close to everything that we did. It's a little dated. But we love the fact that the door has keys instead of a key card. The staff are amazing people very nice and treat you like family. We where running late for check in and they called to make sure we where ok. We got asked how far away we where, if we where having any problems. We will definitely be staying again.
