We loved Rick and Laura Sue, our hosts. They made us feel so comfortable and welcome. The mansion was gorgeous! Every room was furnished in period style and there was so much to see we wish we could have stayed for days. We'll be back.

It was pretty pricey for a one-night stay, but considering what it is (a beautiful refurbished mansion from 100+ years ago) I can understand why. The house was on the edge of a questionable neighborhood. There were lots of shady characters walking around. But the fenced off-street parking made me feel as though our car was safe and we entered through a side door within the fenced parking area, so that was cool.

The breakfast has just been GREAT and the hospitality of the hosts has been even GREATER. We have had really nice conversations on the breakfast table and I have learned a lot about Milwaukee in general and the history of the Mansion Schuster in particular :) I`ll come back for sure and can only STRONGLY recommend to stay at Masion Schuster when coming to Milwaukee.

Nothing = everything was just GREAT = Nothing to add. Do wish the host family many HAPPY guests to come in the future .

My stay at the Schuster Mansion in Milwaukee was delightful. The rooms are quaint and charming, with a cozy historic ambiance. Breakfast was fabulous, offering a delicious and varied spread. The hospitable hosts made us feel right at home, providing excellent recommendations and attentive service. Overall, the Schuster Mansion is a gem, perfect for anyone seeking unique charm, top-notch hospitality, and a fantastic breakfast. Highly recommended!

wow what an amazing mansion , so many old things to see , bed and pillows very comfortable and the best soft silky like sheets , great breakfast .

Breakfast was excellent as where the hosts who prepared it and served us with care. The Mansion has a storied history and the artifacts and furnishings tell a great story of Milwaukee. Great location between the lake and the home of the Brewers being very close to everything.

There was a bit of infrequent street noise because of the location of the Mansion and surroundings and being so centrally located.

Beautiful building and delicious breakfasts.

The female owner is quite eccentric and a bit much, but we really enjoyed our stay/reunion. The male was very friendly and accommodating and drove us (for a fee) to a couple of places we wanted to visit. The room was rather hot even with the AC window unit.

This b&b is beyond amazing!!! Check in was probably the most pleasant check in experience I’ve ever had! The owners are incredible!! I love the decor! My bed was so unbelievably comfortable! Breakfast was wonderful!! I cannot wait to stay here again!!

There wasn’t anything negative about my stay or the property

The breakfast was great. They were able to cater for food restrictions. The house is well decorated for the time period, and really enjoyed the gardens. The owners were kind and gracious and very down to earth.

Any mishaps, they gladly assisted with on request. I would say that the way booking is set up, it very clearly states that breakfast is included in the quoted price. I think their website is set up differently so that I was charged separately. However, I think that's an issue with how it's priced on Booking and have escalated it to the Booking.com review team to collaborate with them about it. It was adjusted for us.

It was like staying at the museum or a movie set. Super nice host family. Very well organized property. Very well maintained and loved place. Great, sound, deep healthy sleeping with opened windows (and AC off), mild breeze in the end of June was purely a flashback from the childhood memories.
