One of my favorite features was the hotel’s organic garden, where they grow their own produce used in the restaurant. The food was delicious, with plenty of healthy options. The location is perfect – it’s peaceful, yet close enough to Hoi An’s old town for sightseeing. I highly recommend Eco Lux Hoi An for those who want a combination of comfort, luxury, and sustainability.

The property is located about 10 mins away from the ancient town. It is quaint and tasteful. Rooms had most of the basic amenities we needed. Most of the staff were kind and well behaved. We had booked 3 rooms including a honeymoon suite. They all had balconies with a beautiful view of the river.

When we came back from the town in the evening we saw another group come by and they were offered welcome tea which we were never offered. That was okay. But the night manager offered a tea to my husband and he had about 20 cups of tea even after offering to their new guests. My husband happily asked our parents to have some as he was offered one. When my mother came to take one the night manager rudely refused. They were leaving for their room when I saw the manager muttering something under his breath and shrugging. It was extremely disrespectful. It seemed he was being partial to his guests and judging us. We refrained from booking any other services from the hotel because of this experience. I feel bad writing this because the other staff were extremely kind and accomodating.
