Located in the touristy area of the Old Quarter so there are many restaurants and food stalls close to it. Beer street is a couple of blocks away. The staff is the best, from the receptionist, the guys from the kitchen and the cleaning lady, they all were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and quiet, hot water works perfectly and the building has an elevator. A\C works fine but the room was so fresh (even though it had no windows) that sometimes I didn't turn it on. The free breakfast consists on fruits, bread with butter and tea/coffee. It was good enough for me but if you want something else they have other options for an extra cost.

A/C was a bit noisy. One time I woke up in the middle of the night thinking it was raining but it was just the A/C. Not a big deal, though. I was able to sleep well.

Great location, really good breakfast cooked to order, Bella is the best thing about this place. She is so kind, genuine and extremely helpful in helping to make plans and provide suggestions. She helped me decide where to go next based on weather and I had the time of my life on the ha giang loop. She would even text me to see how I was doing while on the tours, and would walk with me to the bus that would pick me up and see me off. You can tell she really cares. Henry was also kind and when I was having a rough day he brought me coffee which means alot when you’re solo traveling. While it’s not a particularly social hostel you can still meet people. The beds are comfortable. It has an elevator as well.

Nothing really, I would just recommend booking a Sapa tour once you’re in Sapa as the prices will be considerably lower than through the hotel.

This is a very well-run hotel staffed by a very efficient team (led by hotel manager, Bella) who consistently go out of their way to make your stay comfortable, to help you with local arrangements and to solve any questions you might have. Also, the hotel's location is perfect for walking around Hanoi's fascinating Old Quarter where there are endless restaurants, shops and street food stalls. I would re-book at Queen Cafe Hotel & Pub in a heartbeat.

Us overly comfort-conscious wimps from North America generally prefer a softer mattress, but firmer mattresses do seem to be the norm throughout southeast Asia.

Very clean and well-equipped rooms in a hotel with extremely friendly staff. The rooms are cleaned every day and you get fresh towels. Mrs Bella, the manager, is very helpful with all requests and very friendly. Despite the central location in the old town, the rooms are quiet. The breakfast is good. You can refill filtered water at reception. We arrived with our bicycles and stayed for a week. It was no problem to store the bicycles(still packed in boxes from the flight) safely in the hotel. On request, you can park bicycles in a garage nearby (for 10,000vnd/day)

- The staff was very friendly and helpful. Any concerns we had were well handled and were of great help for suggesting activities and helping us when we changed our plans on short notice. - The location was great in the heart of Hanoi in the old quarter: anything we wanted was around us. - The room was clean.

- The wifi was a bit weak (speedwise, not signalwise). It won't be a big issue if you won't stay a lot in the hotel - Some rooms are without windows and this is not clearly stated in the description. It would be great if it is explicitly added in the room description.

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Hospitality The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, and the location was ideal—close to everything, making it the perfect base to explore the surrounding area. I especially want to commend Bella, who was an exceptional host. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right and made us feel welcome at all times. Her warmth and attentiveness truly elevated our stay. Highly recommended!

There is nothing I can say that I didn't like

I had a perfect stay at Queen Café Hotel and Pub. It is ideally located in the heart of Hanoi Old’s Quarter. I stayed in 4 beds-dorm - the bed was comfortable (fluffy blankets and pillows), had its own bedside light and shelf, curtains for privacy + the dorm was equipped w/ spacious lockers and even had a balcony! Functional bathroom w/ hot water, delicious breakfast in the morning. More importantly: the staff is so sweet there! Bella is so caring and accommodating! We can see that she’s committed to constantly improve her hotel and make it even more comfortable and welcoming everyday. Thank you, Bella! 🙏

Very hospitable, very friendly staff that's always trying to help and make things easier for you. The room was very comfy, had a private bathroom and basic amenities a hotel would provide. The room was spacious for me as a solo traveller. The hotel offers daily cleaning of rooms unless instructed otherwise and can also help with your laundry if needed. Note on the Standard room: the window faces the inner staircase (room 202), it's very quiet but I struggled a bit not having daylight, specially with a bit of jetlag on the first couple of days, but other than that, I wouldn't mind it. They also have private rooms with larger windows and balconies from what I've seen. The hotel is a part hostel as well but the section with the private rooms is very quiet. There is also a café in the lobby where they also serve a tasty breakfast from the menu. It was also very nice to just chill in the lobby/café when I needed a quiet break from the Old Quarter with good wifi. The location was also ideal if you plan to be in the Old Quarter, you can get anywhere with just a few minutes walk!

Incredible stay at Queen Cafe Hotel and Pub as well as their sister hotel - Queen Cafe Hotel 2. Staff Bella and Henry went above and beyond for us the entire time - helping us with booking extra nights, luggage storage while we went on an overnight trip and accomodating anything we asked! Room was great - very spacious and clean and comfortable bed. Location is also great walking distance to everything.

Queen Cafe hotel 2 is quieter at night if that is what you are looking for - wasn’t noisy enough that it bothered us though.

The hotel is in the middle of Old Town Hanoi, very close to restaurants, banks, local attractions and the lake. It is clean and well maintained. Management is extremely helpful and cordial. They make sure you are comfortable. They also helped coordinating my transportation from and to the airport and HaLong Bay. I stayed with them when I returned from HaLong bay and they updated my room. Mrs. Bella is super nice and a hardworking woman. She does whatever is needed to make sure the hotel runs smoothly. The pictures resemble the hotel and I recommend it.
