I stayed here a couple of days in 4beds dormitory. The location is great and the staff is very kind and present. It’s clean and even I saw staff to clean/tidy sheets bed of customers (I mean to fold the duvet and re-puff the pillow), amazing ! Also, in my opinion, the mattress is really perfect. Soap body, shampoo and hair dryer are here. You have something to refill water, free tea and coffee. I left 4 days to do Ha Giang loop and it was possible to let my big bag here. I am travelling since one year so yes, probably 2-3 small things could be improved but it’s definitely a very good hostel. Excellent value for money. Last point but important for me, they didn’t ask me to let them a review, that’s why I am letting one.

Tamy, Dany & Thu made our stay a great experience. They took care of us: booked the trip to Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, all transport to Sapa and Phong Nha. They were flexible enough to change our booking last minute at Hanoi Traveller House to accommodate our travel itinerary. Thanks to them we really enjoyed our stay. And the breakfast was delicious!

During my trip, I unfortunately injured my knee and was unable to walk. The staff went above and beyond to help me- they kindly arranged crutches, a knee brace, and pain-relief gel by contacting local shops and getting everything delivered for me. Besides the fantastic service, the hotel itself is excellent. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with great soundproofing so you can enjoy a peaceful stay despite the lively streets of Hanoi. I highly recommend Hanoi Traveler House to anyone visiting Hanoi. Thank you again to all the staff for taking such good care of me!

100% recommended! Super central hostel and the best part is you don’t hear any noise from outside. The breakfast (extra 50,000D) is totally worth it, juice, coffee, tea, fruit, and a sandwich you choose and they make it fresh for you. You have a plug in your bed, curtains, a small light, hot shower, and they give you a towel. There’s also shampoo, soap, a hairdryer, and toilet paper. They offer laundry too for 40.000D per kilo, you get your clothes back the same day. Everyone’s super helpful and friendly, that’s why I’m extending my stay. Thanks for everything guys!

Foremost is the great, great value for money! The facilities were good and the breakfast options they serve are nice and really fills you up to get your day started. Also, they do have lift, so you won’t have a hard time bringing your stuff to the room. Lastly, their staff are really helpful and warm. They even let me leave my luggage for days as I go up north to Sapa at no cost.

I just wish that they have some sort of hook for each bed space for the guests’ towel and other stuff. Also, I think they have to really look after their air conditioning unit as it broke down during my stay. Well, apparently, it’s already old.

Greatly located, big lockers in the room and also equipped with shelfs, reading lights, poweroutlets, thick curtains, convenient to get a new towel everyday, mostly clean

You‘ll hear the next door karaoke-bar, staff at breakfast would rather use their phone instead of making sure there are enough plates and refilling the dishes (even 50‘ before the end of breakfast), would be nice if staff asked guest checkin in late at night not to turn on the dorm light (even in the 4 person dorm i got woken up EVERY single night due to that..), actually quite expensive for a hostel in Vietnam

Had a great 3 nights at this hostel- which is actually more like a hotel. The room was clean and sheets and towels were changed throughout my stay. Toiletries and toothbrush were available, as well as a great included breakfast. The location was perfect to walk to any of the city’s attractions. The staff was very helpful.

Only note (and tip to the other female dorm occupants)- if you’re coughing and sick enough to be bedridden you should probably get a single room for a few days, no need to spoil everyone else’s vacation.

The location is excellent - right in the heart of the old town, and the windows are well insulated enough so that the noise isn’t too much when trying to get to sleep. Staff were helpful when we arrived and helped us to book our onwards transportation. The room is fairly basic but had everything we needed and the AC was great in the heat!

The vegan breakfast selection could have been better, although we enjoyed the fruit and coffee. The balcony we had also wasn’t really big enough to sit out on, but the room itself was big.

Very big room and even though it was shared with many people, you dont feel like it. It was spacious and bright. Lots of space for your belongings in lockers or around, so you have even enough space to repack. The doors were quiet, beds have curtains but they are light blue so for people who needs complete dark anytime they sleep, maybe eyemask is good. The breakfast are available to order at the hostel, I didnt have it but it looked good! Tea and coffee provided for free for all, anytime. Very central location, but still quite quiet rooms. Downstairs is nice seating area with couches and comfy chairs with tables. Bathroom was clean Staff was very friendly and you can also book tours through them. I booked Mai Chau for one day nd it was beautiful and very private tour (however if you have time, book two days trip with overnight stay in the location, its very peacefull and relaxing place :))
