Excellent location in the Old Quarter, staff incredibly friendly & helpful. Lovely welcome drink , cold face cloth & fruit. Organised transfer to/from airport for me. Tasty food at the restaurant. Lovely sky bar with great views of Hanoi. Staff organised additional snacks for my room as the selection was minimal in the mini bar.

Drinks at the sky bar were very expensive considering the cost of drinks everywhere else in Hanoi, however staff kindly gave me a voucher for 2 free drinks at the Sky Bar and there were Happy Hour promotions. Strange damp smell in the room. Only one lift and very busy at breakfast time.

Very beautiful rooms, spacious and with very comfortable beds, rich and tasty breakfast, but above all I will always remember the kindness of the staff. I was sick, they kept bringing me tea with ginger, and after checking out they offered me to rest for free a few more hours in another clean room where I was accompanied with more tea and a handwritten note in which they invited me to take care of me and contact them for anything. Rarely in the world have I found such a level of care and kindness. I give 10 but only because I can not give a higher score, I would give 20.

Pretty much every aspect exceeded my expectations. The staff were courteous, professional, and always available. They all speak fluent English if that is important to you. The room was spacious and comfy, and had one of the best showers I've ever used in Hanoi if not Vietnam. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable for the price, large variety with an attention to quality. Highly recommend and will def stay again

The room was quite dark even with all the lights on but I believe it is focused on romantic getaways opposed to business trips so it is suitable depending on what mood you are going for

We stayed here two years ago and enjoyed it so much that we decided to come back. The location in the Old Quarter is perfect. The staff is polite and friendly, and the room is comfortable. It’s a small, no-fuss hotel with wonderful charm.

We stayed on the 10th floor, and on our last evening there the "sky bar" above us had some flooding from heavy rain, which led to a lot of noise as they moved furniture around. When we inquired, the staff immediately relocated us to the 9th floor without any hassle.

Easily one of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed at. From the moment we walked in we received warm welcome until the moment we walked out. It's not the hardware of the hotel but rather the entire hotel staff that have made our stay particularly enjoyable. Every single hotel staff is well trained, they are ready to anticipate your needs and give your help. Breakfast is absolutely phenomenal, it's not a huge selection but everything very well prepared and they made an amazing latte. The hotel is centrally located in old quarters, there are plenty of food and entertainment options, you can easily walk to everything around Hoàn Kiếm Lake. The hotel staff will also make an effort to chat with you and give you recommendations, make friends with them and ask for their favorite restaurants! especially Hang who is very cute college graduate who gave me an entire list of restaurants to try. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Hanoi.

Excellent location in the old quarter, close to many restaurants, shops and all the tours happy to collect us from this site. The staff are absolutely excellent. We had an issue with a taxi driver who brought us to the hotel and they very kindly sorted this out. They offered advice on tours, restaurants and always made a point of speaking with you and welcoming you on arrival back from your day out. The rooms were well appointed, very clean with very comfortable beds. Fresh drinking water provided daily.Restaurant was also excellent with the included breakfast of a very high standard with both local and western options available.very nice sky bar on the top floor also. There was a spa, but we did not use this so can’t comment. Delighted we chose this hotel for our first 4 nights in Vietnam, a great start to our holiday.

The one lift could be busy at peak times. Hooks on the bathroom door would be very useful.

A smart, very comfortable hotel right in the heart of the old quarter of Hanoi with an excellent friendly, helpful, kind team of young staff. Duplex rooms were fantastic and luxurious on 2 floors with 2 bathrooms. A wonderful treat as a free upgrade on 2 separate visits on our trip. Thankyou!! Very convenient and felt safe especially with no traffic in the area after dark at the weekends l! Good restaurants in the street too.

Rooms do not have any views apart from the back of other buildings as right in the heart of the old cit, not a problem when you are out exploring all day long! Roof top bar looked inviting but not when loud music was frequently blaring out.

Absolutely everything about our stay at La Siesta Classic Ma May was fantastic! The staff across all departments are warm, welcoming, friendly, thoughtful, helpful and incredible professional. The hotel itself has a fabulous location so it’s easy to get pretty much everywhere. The hotel itself is beautiful, pristine and comfortably luxurious. The rooms are spacious and well lit. The linen is lovely and the ambiance relaxing. The treatments offered at the lovely spa are next level amazing, so make sure you book a massage (or two). The food was really delicious too - breakfast options were extensive, so there will definitely be something for everyone. The rooftop bar is worth spending some time at too - the views are magnificent, the aesthetic is cool and the vibe is classy cool. The personal attention and warmth of the staff really sets this hotel apart from the rest.

I absolutely loved staying here, even though it was so short! I was greeted with such a warm welcome at La Siesta, by the most friendly and helpful staff. Even though it was late, they took the time to chat to me and brought me a much appreciated welcome drink with fresh fruit when I arrived. My room was upgraded to a suite which was beautiful, spotlessly clean and so spacious, with the most luxurious bed I could have asked for. I slept so well! The restaurant and breakfast buffet had a great selection, and the rooftop bar has to be the coolest bar with the best views in all of Hanoi. Next time I’ll be back for an espresso martini! Location is awesome too, close to all the hustle and bustle with everything on your doorstep, while maintaining peace and quiet when you step inside the doors. I couldn’t recommend it higher and would go back in a heartbeat!
