This is definitely a good one if you’re looking for a cozy and affordable place to stay in Hoi An. Highly recommend. The room was spacious, well-lit. The bed was so comfortable. The aircon worked so well. The location was also ideal, close to everything I wanted to visit but still quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. The owner and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and pretty much attentive. My room has balcony access from the front and the back door leading to the little private garden on first floor which is an impressive. This hotel offered basic breakfast which is nice local foods. Feel safe if you’re a solo traveler. I’ll probably come back to this hotel in my next trip.

We had the nicest time staying at The Hanging Garden! At a point in our travels when we were really craving a homely feel and the kindness of warm-hearted people, this place gave us exactly that. Honestly, we couldn’t understand why there aren’t more reviews—this place deserves so many! The hospitality was incredibly thoughtful, and we felt genuinely welcomed by every staff member we met. They struck the perfect balance of being there whenever we needed them while also allowing for plenty of privacy, making it such a relaxing stay. They were always available on WhatsApp if we had any questions, which was such a nice touch. They even let us check in early and gave us a room with a garden area, which we absolutely loved! It was so calming to sit outside in their beautifully arranged garden. Our room itself was amazing—so comfortable and well-equipped. The bed was incredibly cosy, and the waterfall shower was such a treat after long days out exploring. There was also a wardrobe and a fridge, which made everything feel even more convenient. We slept so well here! Breakfast was included each morning and served by the sweetest lady, who greeted us every day with a warm smile and such a lovely presence. The food was delicious, and we were given a different type of fruit each day alongside whatever we ordered. We also did our laundry through them—it was picked up and dropped off right at our door, smelling amazing! The location is perfect—tucked away in pretty lanes, away from the busier tourist-filled areas, yet still within walking distance of everything. One of the most special touches was that the kind ladies gave us a different arrangement of flowers each day. I only managed to get a picture of one, but it was such a thoughtful detail! On our departure, the owner came personally to say goodbye, and you could tell how grateful she was that we had stayed. We kept catching ourselves saying, “It’s so lovely here” and “They’re so sweet here” over and over again.

Hidden gem in central old town Hoi An. Tucked away off a lovely street so it’s extremely quiet but close to everything. Beautiful large rooms with everything you need. The hosts and staff could not have been more helpful or kind. Genuinely an exceptional stay and such a good location. Great breakfast and they can help arrange anything you need in terms of experiences, pick ups or travel. We loved it here

Location was good, and nice spacious room and clean

There was really loud construction going on across from our room and there was loud banging that started at 7am and also loud music playing, we had a guy just unlock our door and walk into our room at 8am in the morning while we were in bed and not knock on the door before entering and then at 8.30am the host knock and ask when we were checking out even though checkout wasn’t until 12pm.

Owner informed that their credit card machine was broken, should be mentioned during the booking that credit card will not be accepted. Very limited English of owner. Nobody at the reception most of the time.

Nice homely feel, greenery, short walk to markets but still quiet.

On arrival, no one at reception, staff called lady boss to advise we have arrived, ask to wait 10mins (no big deal) Shown to our room which was on first floor ( open external stair case) not great when carrying suite cases. Room was spacious & clean, however no kettle or tea/coffee facilities, they were provided on request. Once settled and having a shower, we had to call for support as shower drain was blocked and flooded floor. Breakfast very basic, break butter and fried egg and tea /coffee.
