Hoi An Heart is an eco friendly family run hotel few minutes walking to the old town and the riverside. I stayed 3 days with my husband, in a balcony room which was bright and spacious with modern decoration. Both room and the building was spotless clean. Overall the hotel is just like as it is in the photos. What we dont see in the pictures is the friendly, enthusiastic and very helpful staff. Both hosteses in the morning and the evening treated us like family friends. The breakfast was wonderful and the cold tea served anytime was excellent. The owner has really put his heart in his business, i wish him the best and hope to come back some time.

This is a great priced idealy located small hotel homestay right on the boundary to Hoi An Unesco Town. Very short easy walk to river. Family lived downstairs. They were incredibly helpful and friendly.There is a baggage lift only. Its a. 3 level small building rooms all overlooking a family neighbourhood. Interesting and very safe.. Rooms were modern clean with everything we needed. Bathroom condiments kettle fridge more extra drinking water on Great Himestayeach floor which I think only had 3 rooms. Breakfast was lovely fruit and yoghurt if you wished great Vietnam coffee eggs salad and Boa Bun. As we were there for a lot longer than most we had intentions of using pool but found it underwhelming.

LOVED everything about this place. Had a balcony room. On the balcony, I had my very own fish to feed and watch. Not much of a view, but interesting to watch the going on in the back streets. My room had the biggest and most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The room was clean and very comfortable. Matt, the manager of the property, was so friendly and really helpful. So full of energy and happy. It was enjoyable interacting with him. The breakfast supplied here was AMAZING!!! I wish I had of got the recipe to the salad dressing!!! BIG breakfast that was fresh and tasty. It was so big, I didn’t need lunch. The property is so close to the old town and all the eateries. Walk down the alley way and you are at Highlands Coffee place, McDonalds and KFC. I will definitely be coming back to stay when I return to Hoi An.

We were looked after by Mathew and his family and enjoyed their amazing hospitality over several nights in Hoi An. Two days we left on tours before breakfast was served and they ensured to prepare for us a couple of amazing Banh Mi sandwiches. These were the best banh Mi we had in Vietnam!!! The location is great being only a short stroll from the centre of old town but just set away far enough not to be noisy at night. The accommodation had a few really nice touches including a water filter on our floor, small swimming pool, air conditioning which was modern and quiet (which meant we could keep it on at a low leave and night without being disturbed). Good tip with tailor shop for my wedding Tuxedo. Beautiful rooms: Modern, spotless, comfort-first design with cozy balconies and plush king beds. Standout breakfast: Delicious homemade fare, fresh fruit, banh mi, and Vietnamese coffee—reviewers call it “amazing” Great amenities: Free bicycles, indoor pool, water stations on each floor, minibar, and even a luggage elevator for easy loading. A few minor notes—some guests mentioned early construction noise or occasional hot‑water issues, but praised the team’s quick help. In short: Hoi An Heart Lodge is exceptional value with genuine hospitality, smart design, and a location that lets you enjoy the buzz without being in it. Staying at Hoi An Heart Lodge felt like staying with old friends in the heart of town. Nestled just a 5‑minute stroll from the Japanese Covered Bridge, this cozy B&B is ideally placed for exploring Hoi An’s charming lanes and markets. I loved the vibe here—the rooms are bright, thoughtfully designed, and spotlessly clean. I stayed in a loft studio with a lovely balcony, perfect for enjoying that cool evening breeze after a day out. The indoor pool was a fun surprise, and the free bikes made each ride to the nearby beach feel spontaneous and easy But what truly sets this place apart is the hospitality. Van and Mat, the family owners, welcomed me like family, helping organize trips, sharing local tips, and even gifting homemade banh mi when I had an early departure. Breakfast by the pool complete with fresh baguettes, fruit, and granola was the most delicious part of my mornings . If you’re after a warm, sincere, and locally rooted stay in Hoi An, Hoi An Heart Lodge is the perfect pick. I’m already planning my next visit.

My partner and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hoi An Heart Lodge for three nights, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Nestled right in the heart of Hoi An's Old Town, the location was perfect - quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to all the charming sights, shops, and restaurants. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth by the incredible hosts, Mat and Van. Their kindness, attentiveness, and passion for what they do made us feel like we were being welcomed into a home, not just a hotel. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable, offering excellent recommendations, help with bookings, and thoughtful touches throughout. The lodge itself was beautifully clean, stylish, and cozy; exactly what we needed for a relaxing break. Each morning we looked forward to the delicious breakfast and Vietnamese coffee, which was fresh, varied, and served with a smile. It really set the tone for the day. We left with full hearts and so much appreciation for the outstanding service and hospitality we received. Thank you, Mat and Van, for making our stay in Hoi An so special. We can’t wait to return one day!

An absolutely amazing homestay. Our first time in one and we would definitely recommend the Heart Lodge. From checking in to departure, the lady looking after us was exceptional 10/10. Very friendly, informative & helpful. Could not praise her enough she wanted to make our stay amazing, which it was. The rooms were immaculately clean & had everything you needed. Obviously, on the smaller side but this is expected in a homestay. The breakfast choice again amazing, lovely and freshly cooked in their kitchen. Fresh hot baguettes from the local bakery. The granola & fresh fruit again amazing. If you wanted more, you could have it. Nothing was a problem. Location is great, literally steps away from the old town, which is beautiful. Amazing value for money. Can't rate Heart Lodge enough.

Hoi An Heart Lodge felt like a home away from home. The staff made this the most wonderful accomodation of our Vietnam trip. They are friendly, warm and accomodating and go out of their way to make your stay perfect including early check in and later check out, recommendations on local restaurants, stores and activities, helped us doing our clothes washing, they booked our cooking class which was great, offered cheaper transport options and generally having a chat each day when they serve their delicious breakfast. Facilities were perfect, clean and the room was spacious. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning. Good wifi and filtered drinking water available so we could refill our bottles. Awesome place, highly recommend anyone to stay.

My best stay in Vietnam. Simply put.😀 The staff are great and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay with good advice and are happy to reserve taxis etc at your request. It is run as an eco friendly establishment, not just words, they actually do care! Great bed, lovely and clean room, nice view and a modern up to date bathroom, best i have seen in my travels in this part of the world. They also have a great restaurant by the river where you will have a discount on your bill if you eat there. And important for some. a quiet location and 5 minutes walk to the old town by the river.
