Anna and Lily were so incredible! They were attentive and so helpful! They were always there to check in and make sure we were having a great time! We left our baby's hat in the lobby and they sent a car to bring it to our hotel in Da Nang. Thanks for going above and beyond! The location was EXCELLENT 👌 You walk down the street to the right and you have the night markets. Walk to the left and around the corner to the river. Then over the bridge into Old Town. At night, the river is beautiful as it lights up with boats carrying lanterns. If you go for a night swim in the pool you can watch the lantern boats going down the river.

Not a fancy hotel, small accommodation but our family room was spacious enough for 2 adults and two kids (12 and 10). The hotel has a few rooms, the breakfast buffet does not have a log of selections unlike fancier places but is good enough with bread and eggs and juice and tea /.coffee and fried rice and noodles and fruits and croissant and raisin bread and yogurt and butter, jam etc. Anna, the receptionist was very nice - helped in letting us know what all we could do and also some nice local places to eat and some well known restaurants. All were great recommendations. A few staff but each was very nice and tried their best to help us out. Be kind, be respectful and be patient and focus on the good things and you will see how good the place is. A cozy place, a top notch location and super value for money!

The staff were wonderful. Ana and Lily were both so friendly, kind and very helpful. It was my first visit to Hoi An and they gave me a map, with lots of tips/recommendations. Anything I asked, they were so keen to help and they were just a joy to sit and have a chat with too. The location is also fantastic. Right around the corner from the river, where many restaurants/bars are and where you can do the lantern boat trips at night. The hotel is in a very old building and the family have worked hard to keep everything within that style of decor. There's a pool (although I didn't use it, so I can comment on it) and although facilities are simple, it was so comfortable and charming. The air con was great too and I also loved the traditional wooden bath.

There's nothing I didn't like. I would absolutely stay there again.

Exceptional stay – felt like staying with family ! Our stay at La An Old Town Hotel was absolutely perfect. Anne and Lily were simply the best – it truly felt like we were staying with family. They were always there to greet us with a smile, check in on how we were doing, and made us feel so welcome. A special mention to Anne who went out of her way each morning to have banana pancakes made for our daughter because she loved them at the markets – such a thoughtful and attentive touch! The location is ideal – right in the heart of the Old Town but just tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet. And the breakfast? Easily better than any 5-star hotel we’ve stayed at. The bread, in particular, was the best we had in all of Vietnam! We honestly couldn’t rate our stay any higher. If we’re ever back in Hoi An, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

The hotel has a great location, close to restaurants and the old town. The staff is lovely, especially Ana and Lily are friendly and very helpful, assisting with tours arrangements and airport transportation if needed. The rooms are clean and the shower provides good hot water. The rooftop pool is a nice and cozy spot for hot days. We enjoyed our two-day stay, and overall, it offers great value for the price.

The hotel is located in a residential area, which can be a bit noisy, specially if you stay in a room next to the reception. I recommend booking a room on the second or third floor. Overall everything else is good.

What a great place! Incredibly friendly staff who make guests feel like family. We felt looked after throughout our stay. We bought a cooking course at the hotel and were delighted with it. We also took a transfer to Da Nang airport. Everything went smoothly. The breakfasts are not very varied but tasty. We had to check out early in the morning and were even given breakfast to go. The hotel is in a great location - close to the old town and just around the corner is the night market. At the same time it is quiet and you can relax at night.

The room is a bit impractical. I missed shelves in the bathroom and some sort of night table in the room. We did not use the pool, but it is very small.

Anna was so very helpful and went beyond her duties. The fact that Anna is there makes the rating a 10. She is friendly, professional, and so attentative to her guests. She is a true diamond for your hotel. Her English is very good. The other staff are friendly and caring too. We would have been lost without Anna. Our daughter ended up in hospital with food poising, and Anna helped us change flights. She even packed us breakfast when we left at 4 am. for a 6am flight. The aircons are fabulous, and the beds are so comfortable. Anna, we miss you already !!!

There was nothing we didn't like apart from the first room, and Anna moved us to a beautiful room with a balcony.

Our stay at La An Old Town Hotel was an absolute delight! Ana and Lily, the hosts, were incredibly kind and sweet—so attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. They really went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home and taken care of, offering great recommendations and making sure all our needs were met. The location couldn’t be better! The hotel is just a short walk from the iconic Hoi An Japanese Bridge and other major attractions, making it super easy to explore the charming old town. You can truly immerse yourself in the beauty of Hoi An, with everything within walking distance. The hotel itself is cozy and comfortable, with a lovely atmosphere that perfectly matches the charm of Hoi An. If you're visiting the area, La An Old Town Hotel is a must-stay. We had such a memorable experience and will definitely return!

Great location, so close to the bridge to/from Old Town and the Japanese bridge and restaurants/bars/markets but slightly off the beaten path so nice and quiet. Room and ensuite was spacious and clean, the bed was the most comfortable I've had this trip! Breakfast was simple and nice.

The receptionists were nice and friendly but they force you to sit down with a cup of tea at check-in to give you the hard sell on tours, boat rides, show performance, etc which was a bit annoying but I get it's their job to do it.

The room was on the last floor, very big with 2 king-size beds. It is right in the center which is good if you like to party or tourist places, the sound from the bars wasn't that loud, so I was asleep easily. The breakfast was good. The administrator Anna was super sweet and talkative, so she helped me with my 1 day program: I went to the Memory Hoi An show, which was amazing, and Hoi an basket boats trip.

The towels were all dirty with the spots, and it was very late to disturb anyone, so please pay attention to that in the future
