From the moment we checked in we had a fantastic experience, the lovely River on reception was so friendly and helpful making sure we had all the information we needed for our stay and gave us an amazing room with a balcony facing the mountains. The view was exceptional. When you book do make sure that your description of the view is the mountain and not the rock face. The rooms are stocked with a large bottle and two small bottles of water every day as well as a can of Coke and a beer. Simple but a nice touch. Breakfast was lovely, a small but delicious and fresh selection of hot and cold food/fruits/cereal and the ability to order eggs/pancakes cooked fresh. All the staff were lovely but especially Hanh. I asked for some ice and Xe in the bar gave me an ice bucket and nice glasses for the room. It honestly felt like nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t use the spa or the pool as we were busy sightseeing during the day but my boyfriend said the gym was great. The hotel was located about 10 minutes walk from Sapa station which meant it was close enough to centre but far enough to not be disturbed by the noise. Another reason I have to call out the fantastic service from River on reception was that my boyfriend left his AirPods in the private taxi we got from Ha Long. We were struggling to make contact with the driver but River took over and made a number of attempts. I have no idea how she did it but the next day the AirPods were delivered to reception at a cost of only 50k (dong) I was blown away. They organised a taxi to the station and the price was inline with Grab (normally private cars are more expensive) I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

I loved the view of the mountains from my room! It was so refreshing and relaxing to sit on the balcony in the mornings. The staff were friendly and kind always smiling! I really liked the design of the decoration and the shower and bathroom was a dream! The location is great especially if you want peace and quiet it’s only a 10 min walk to the town. The towels and sheets were perfect and house keeping brilliant with a couple of complimentary cold drinks in the mini bar. Which was great for my hiking in the mountains. I didn’t use the gym or spa but it looked great and there is a pool, it’s not heated. The breakfast was great too! I wish it was until 10am or 10:30am but it ok I think it’s common here to finish at 9:30am.

Nothing. It was just what I was looking for.

Room was spacious with a great view, the bed was very comfortable and breakfast was fabulous - both the food and the service. The mini bar was stocked each day with complimentary water beer and Coke which was nice. The hotel is on a quiet street a 5 minute walk into the center of town - which for us is a positive. It is up a small hill but just about everything is in Sapa!

There was an area carpet in the sotting area that clearly hadn’t been cleaned or vacuumed in a very long time. - it let down the excellent standard of our 3 night experience. The laundry service offered is ridiculously expensive - for a fraction of the cost you can organize pick up and delivery and use a local laundry service.

The view from the room is fabulous. The rooms are very clean and housekeeping does a great job cleaning it daily. The restaurant staff are very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was tasty and had a good variety. Easy to get Grab taxis to and from the center, which is very close by.

The reception staff spoilt the experience. While free room upgrades are given to "Westerners" (iykyk), we were charged for the same. When I brought it up Riva, the front office lady, said it was their policy to charge. When I enquired why weren't the others charged, she said she upgraded me to a suite over and above a mountain view room. Please spare me, the room was just a mountain view room, which needed certain maintenance done in any case (shower stand broken, tap knob wobbly, shower door not fully closing). If you quote policy, then it should be standard !!!! Again when booking spa appointments, they would hold spots,( no guesses for who) giving them time to decide and not taking your booking. They left us with a very disappointing experience

This incredible hotel was our last hotel that we stayed in on our 1 month trip to Vietnam. We were very impressed with the level of customer service we received! The location of the hotel in Sa Pa is close enough for a quick walk downtown but far enough away from the noise and flood of tourists. The first thing we were blown away with was the room they upgraded us to for our 25th wedding anniversary! We had the pleasure of having Miss River take care of us on our entire stay! Not only were we upgraded to a beautiful room, the housekeeping team surprised us with an incredible “Happy Anniversary” message on our bed! Very romantic and I think I scored a few brownie points! (Happy wife, happy life!) We also were impressed when we noticed that many of the places we wanted to visit, upon more investigation, appeared to be your typical tourist traps that I would consider not to be a “REAL” Vietnam experience. When we approached Miss River about this, she immediately knew exactly what we wanted. She put together an itinerary that had a private tour guide taking us to several of the different villages and we really had an immersive experience of the local life in and around Sa Pa. We trekked through the terraced fields, visited shops and even had the chance to visit a school where we purchased and handed out candy to the kids! Not sure who was more excited to see who. Our second day we visited Love Waterfall and another village further away where we were invited into a local home and had dinner with our tour guide’s family. It’s hard to put into words how grateful we were to be able to experience this! Our final big “WIN” on this trip was Miss River booking us into the hotel’s spa for a back, shoulder, neck and foot massage! What a way to end our trip after hiking around Sa Pa! It was probably one of the best massages I’ve had in my life! The food and beverage team was amazing and accommodating and the food incredible as well!

The rooms are large and comfortable, lovely large bed and great bathroom. Friendly and welcoming staff in reception & restaurant.

Unfortunately, the pool wasn’t heated—something we weren’t aware of before booking—so it was far too cold to use during our stay. It was also a bit disappointing to find there was no sauna or steam room available. While we tried the spa, the massage felt overpriced for what was offered, and the facial was underwhelming. It may be worth the management reviewing the spa staff’s training, especially given the premium pricing of the treatments.

Beautiful hotel just up from the Sun Plaza Sapa Station. Elegant decor and very friendly staff. Breakfast was very good and the room was comfortable and had a balcony, although I couldn’t see anything since it was very foggy during my stay.

I would suggest NOT going in the winter months. Only go between April - September. Visibility was terrible and it was very cold. Fog was so thick you couldn’t see more than a few feet in front of you and Fansipan Peak was a total white out with no views of the mountains. The hotel itself is amazing but one thing I would suggest is having heaters in the rooms for the cold weather months and the fire place in the lobby wasn’t on both nights I was there. Would have been nice to warm up by the fire after a day of being outside in the freezing cold weather.

The hotel is very well situated, close enough to walk into town centre but far enough away to miss the noise and bustle at night. Cannot praise the staff enough for their support and service towards us while in the hotel- especially the restaurant staff who were fantastic. Our room was large and spacious and the balcony gave us a fantastic view of the mountain ranges especially when the sun was coming up in the morning!

The bathroom attached to our room needs some work and perhaps an update. The shower screens did not close properly and leaked water all over the floor. Not a huge problem, and this would be easy to fix, but it did cause a bit of a mess any time we took a shower. The shower floor was also quite worn ( and perhaps a bit dirty) and could do with a deep clean or upgrade.

The hotel was lovely, our room was extremely clean and we had a wonderful view looking out onto the mountains from our balcony. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner that the hotel provided. The staff were all very helpful during our stay, especially Hanh who took the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The location was excellent as it was a short walk away from the main centre of Sapa but still tucked away in a quiet area making it very easy to relax and sleep! Sapa is very busy at night time so this hotel was perfectly located.

We were quoted $390 for a return taxi from Hanoi airport to the hotel. We managed to find a taxi that cost us £200 for both ways, so we felt the hotel should have offered a cheaper alternative. The pool looked nice in the photos, but where it was located at the front of the hotel it was always in the shade.

We were very comfortable in the room. Bed was huge and the room very plush. Balcony view was a nice treat although it was mostly misty so we didn't see much but that's more a winter issue than a hotel issue. Staff were very attentive and we really enjoyed the meals and the hospitality. The main town was within walking distance but you get the feeling of being a bit more removed from the hustle and bustle which was a bonus.

We wish the shower was stronger. The odd placement of the rainshower and the bathtub made it difficult for tall people above 1.8m. Also a rainshower above a bathtub means the bathroom floor next to the tub would get wet.
