We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Sapa! The hospitality was exceptional, especially from the lovely owner Van. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — from helping us organize our bus trip to ensuring our room was warm and cozy every evening when we returned from exploring. Her care and attention to detail truly made a difference! Van also gave us great recommendations on things to do, where to eat, and how to make the most of our time in Sapa. Highly recommend staying here if you want to feel taken care of and experience genuine local hospitality. Thank you, Van, for everything!

The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed, including a cozy bed with an electric blanket, which was perfect for the cool Sapa nights. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional hospitality of Van, the host. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. She helped organize various activities in Sapa and the surrounding area, making it easy to explore the stunning landscapes. On check-out, she even arranged my pickup with the bus company, which was a huge help.

Albeit It didn’t affect me, to reach Botanic Sapa Hotel, there are some steps.

Van is such a warm person, properly taking care of you. Which is an amazing feeling. She suggested some things to do and booked everything for me. (Even if I was a bit difficult in one situation, Van did everything to help me). Also very flexible when I wanted to stay a night longer. The view of the room is beautiful, even on cloudy days it’s cool to see the mountain so close. Bed is comfortable, bathroom great and all very clean. Love the little touch of snacks to grab. And even the drinks in the fridge are a very fair price.

Nothing, it was truly a perfect stay.

Van, our host was very helpful & kind. Gave us many tips on where the good food are & to be wary not to be scammed. She was honest to warn us of the steps leading to her homestay & the limited view of our requested room. Besides the complementary coffee & tea, she also provided some snacks/biscuits in the room. Unlike other hotels or homestays, she won't charge the additional bank charges if you pay by credit card.

Be prepared to walk up the steps to your room. Good exercise. No breakfast provided but it's ok there are alot of food nearby.

What a fantastic 5 night stay we had at this small hotel / guesthouse. The views from the room are amazing, and the room itself was super clean, quiet but close to the main street, comfortable and everything was perfect. The most friendliest owner Vanh & her lovely husband Minh & young daughter Mina, who all spoke perfect English, were an absolute pleasure to talk with. Nothing was a problem for Van, organising tickets to Fansipan, a taxi driver onwards to Tam Coc, a free snack bag for our trip, doing our laundry, fruit plate in the room, refillable water bottles, beers in the fridge for a cheap price, and a full run down of the town on a map and what there is to do, was handy. She was literally amazing and was so friendly & kind to us. This is a great value stay. Highly recommended.

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect.

Beautiful room which was very clean and comfortable. Van and Minh are fantastic hosts. Very friendly, super helpful with great travel advice and very kind. Also speak great English. We felt very well looked after with all the extra thoughtful touches. The location is perfect being very central. Comfy bed and quiet at night. Overall an incredible experience.

Van and family were wonderfully welcoming and helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable, and close to the centre of town - with food, shopping and bath/massage etc options within 150m. We stayed before and after our 3 day trek and were delighted to be welcomed back with hot tea, help with laundry and a place to clean our boots. Van also helped with bookings and navigating some confusion about our bus pick up. I would choose this place again.

The room has an electric blanket and reverse cycle AC for heating, but we found it a bit difficult to maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature overnight (the electric blanket gets too hot, and it was cold without it). We were visiting in the coldest month.

One of the best hotels i have ever stayed. The room had a very nice view to the Sapa mountains, it was clean and comfort, had all the things described. Owners were very friendly from the moment i put my foot inside. They helped me with my baggage, they were smiling making the guest feel that he his in his home. They informed me everything about Sapa and Fansipan. They were interested to learn about me and my trip in Vietnam. I totally recommend this hotel. I had an amazing stay! The room was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything I needed. It felt like a home away from home. What really made the experience stand out was the host. Super friendly, responsive, and genuinely caring—every detail was taken care of, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. Central location, so clean and comfortable. Great hot showers, heating kept us nice and cosy as it was damp and cold outside. Van would turn the heating and electric blanket on for us while we were our so came home to lovely warm room and bed. Van goes out of her way to ensure your comfort. There are quite a few steps to the accommodation but her and her husband carried our bags so it wasn't a problem. Such a wonderful host really made our stay wonderful. Definitely would recommend. Excellent value for money.
