Great place to stay! I stayed here for almost two months and had all my meals at the hotel — they never once underdelivered. Excellent value for money, with large and healthy portions every time. Although the surrounding area can be a bit noisy, the rooms are well-insulated and quiet inside. I also booked my buses to Hà Giang and Hanoi through them, and both trips went smoothly without any issues. Highly recommended for long or short stays!

The location is convenient and well-situated, though personally, I found it a little too busy for my preference. The room on the top floor has a water pump that makes quite a bit of noise, but hopefully the hosts will address this small issue soon. However, when I asked to change rooms, the staff were very understanding and open to the request.

Very kind hosts, they waited for us for a late check-in at night, and for a small extra fee we could also have a late check-out and stay in the room until our night bus. Great location, good food, and they even gave us water when we left for a hike. The room had clean towels, a kettle, and a terrace with a view of the street.

Water was dripping from the ceiling (not onto the bed and it didn’t really affect our stay). There were some oily stains on the bed linen that can’t be washed out anymore, and if you have a room facing the busy street it can be very noisy from early morning (scooter horns, trucks, taxis) – but it didn’t bother us too much.

Although I arrived very early in the morning off the sleeping bus from Hanoi the proprietors were willing to store my luggage until check in. Around lunch time the hotel was serving a large group but they still provided me with a place to wait and some refreshment until my room was ready. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed the most comfortable I have had yet in Vietnam. AC kept it cool and there was a nice balcony for use before the mosquito time in the evening. It is a bit of a hike up a steep hill to the central lake but the location is good. All the streets in Sapa are very congested with traffic so it is not easy to be picked up directly at the door but probably this is the same everywhere. I thought there might be breakfast available to buy but they don’t seem to cater except for groups. Not a problem though as you can get a breakfast baguette right next door.

The only suggestion I have is to put a shower head holder on the wall so it is easier to stand underneath and wash hair.

They’re very nice hosts, the bathroom was super clean. A/C was cool and enough hot water.

I’m sure they would have fixed if I asked them. The blanket cover was a bit smelly, and also the pillows. No trash bin inside the room. The room overall was clean, but the ceiling had mold spots and the smell was very strong in the room. It’s $8 per night I would only advise to not book the rooms with terrace, all the other rooms should be fine 😊

Beautiful place and wonderful host! The bungalow was very nice and incredibly clean inside. The owner is a lovely, smiling woman who helped us organize a taxi from Hanoi and also arranged our airport transfer. She also supported us in planning great local tours - everything at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and friendly stay. Thank you so much!

The best staff ever! They gave us early check-in at 3am, late check out at 3pm and let us change room at our request. All for free!!! They asked us every day if we wanted anything like water, toiletpaper and so on. Can't recommend this homestay enough! For the price and location you won't find anything better than this!

When we checked in the room had an earthy/moldy/humid scent which made it uncomfortable to be in the room. When we addressed this to the staff we were immediately given the rooms to another room - a room upgrade, where there was no such problem as described above :)

Had a great stay here, booked for 3, stayed 9. Just wanted somewhere central, cheap & a nice clean well decorated room with a comfy bed. Found it here so can Def recommend. Owners are lovely too. Also 50m away they serve street food until 2am which is useful. I recommend the balcony rooms with view of the mountains

The room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable, and had a homy feel to it. Lots of space and sunlight, and even a balcony, which I wasn't expecting. Great warm shower and possibly the only place I found at this price point which offered heating, which was much needed in the winter time. Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Lovely hosts who also allowed me to use the kitchen for the basics. Highly recommended!

I wish I was told in advance that there was a construction next door at the time. They did offer me to change rooms or cancel for free, but the noise was everywhere and changing accommodations was inconvenient in my situation, so I think they should tell you when you book. Everything else was great, so I ended up staying.

Perfect! They replied to all my enquiries, like the feasibility of a credit card payment (yes) in record time which I highly appreciate. My air-conditioned room overlooks the beautiful street which is perfect for the eyes and for the gram haha. The bed's really really comfy with powerful aircond! Saw some comments about the noise from the street but that wasn't the case during my stay. Also, the location's just perfect. It's central with many options for food and walking distance to the lake among others. During check out, the lady owner sent me off with some bottled water and fruits it just made me not wanna leave, really. All in all, a terrific stay that I would highly recommend to everyone!

The people who run the place were so friendly! They helped me organise my trip, made sure everything went smoothly. They went beyond what you would expect as service. Thank you! Also the water pressure in the shower was great.

I was on the 4th floor next to the terrace and there was a bad smell in my room. Everything was super clean do, so I don't know where it came from.
