The room we had when checking in was great: it was large with the extra chair we always want, and the bathroom was perfect with plenty of counter space. However, well into the evening , the light fixture in the bathroom became a shower and the floor was completely flooded! We had to move, of course, but the room we moved to was small and the toilet was so close to the door, there was hardly room to move...no counter at all. So, it was on to yet another room, which was sufficient but still had only one chair. We read on our relax time, and it's backbreaking for either one of us to sit on the bed! When I booked our Newport visit, I had booked a king room with that extra armchair...that's what was paid for and we were never able to have that; it leaves a bit of a sour taste.

The fact that we paid a fairly high price for a room they seemed unable to give us.

The room was large and comfortable for me. The staff was very friendly, and the location was near enough to a variety of eating options.

Not a complaint of the motel, I would have liked to be a little closer to Newport proper but I wasn't willing to pay the higher prices, so this worked out fine, was near enough and really easy to go to and from.

Our room was recently renovated… a brand new bathroom with upscale fixtures, new mattress and linens that one would expect from the Wyndham brand. So glad they took over Days Inn. The staff was friendly and kept the motel and grounds spotless.

The free breakfast was a nice feature, but did not include eggs, bacon and sausage that was described in the hotel directory/binder that was in our room. We found only DIY waffles, mini pastries and cereal… all carbs and no protein.

Room was clean. Cleaning lady was pleasant when we saw her. CHRISTIAN at the front desk was absolutely lovely! Personality plus! Checked us in & was professional & just a genuine person. Had the best time talking w/him!

The breakfast wasn't the buffet that was pictured. Didn’t eat there. Didn’t care for the floor. Would have preferred it to be carpeted.

Looked like they were sprucing things up. Piles of soil and leaves about, paint cans left where a traveler could see them. Sign for the motel was difficult to see. I passed it twice before I saw it. Bushes/tree needs to be cut back and sign brighter.

They offered a nice option

The only protein source was hard boiled eggs it would be nice to have sausage bacon and scrambled eggs .we all were hungry a hour after leaving for our days fun

Decent room for a decent price.

Pillows were all time horrible. Ive been to at least a hundred hotels, these pillows were the worst. Mini firdge in the room barely kept anything cold

The location was perfect and the politeness of the staff was great. Beds were very comfortable. Very quiet place.

The pool was not available for most of our stay. The vending machines were out of order. The room floors were not very clean.

The staff was professional and went above and beyond to accommodate their guests to make sure all were comfortable.

Unfortunately there was a fire during our stay. Again, though, the owner and the staff went above and beyond to ensure the transfer of guests to a sister hotel was made in the most professional manner and that all customers were and comfortable. I would definitely return to this Days Inn because of the owner and the staff.
