Efficient in and out to airport and helpful staff

In most hotels throughout the western world the shuttle service to airport is complimentary. $9 Euros a passenger for a less than 20 minute ride is very disappointing

The most amazing breakfast, the choice was excellent and it was very fresh. 10 for the breakfast. The room was very good, bed very comfortable and good to have a kettle in the room, though some milk should be available. However I asked for some milk at reception and it was no bother. I was waiting to be picked up and as it was 37 degrees outside it was very convenient to be able to keep the room until 3pm for an extra 30 euro.

Not smtg I didn't like, just felt that there was no leaflet in the room to give basic info in a few languages on the hotel, for example the number to contact reception or a menu for the restaurant, which judging by the excellent breakfast was probably equally good. Also when travelling it is good to have access to an iron and ironing board.

Excellent rooms & restaurant at this hotel.

I did not like that the hotel changed the morning departure times for the shuttle. They used to have a 7:15am shuttle, but now the hotel only has a 7:00am and a 7:30am. Unfortunately, the restaurant opens for breakfast at 7:00am and now this is the shuttle I need to take for the airport. I would prefer that the restaurant opened 15 minutes earlier at 6:45am or that the hotel re-instated the 7:15am shuttle since I only need 10 or 15 minutes for breakfast. The rooms of the hotel are excellent but the hallways are some seemingly dated and worn along with their elevators that appear to be very much in need of an update or a refresh.

As an airport Hotel it fulfilled our expectations and needs to facilitate arrival and departure flights. It has all the facilities expected of a US hotel chain and a good restaurant on campus. It is also walking distance to a good car rental company (Centurion) so very convenient for pickup and drop off. Airport shuttle was convenient and a lot cheaper at EU8 a person than the Uber (28) or taxi (35) for the 7 minute ride.

The rooms are tiny and the shower tinier still - I'm not a big guy, but still couldn't manoeuvre myself around the shower stall without catching the shower controls! The staff did give us a quieter room away from the elevator on our departure day, but quiet is obviously relative in an airport hotel, since it is right under the incoming flight path... The beds in both rooms were unfortunately very hard and uncomfortable.

The hotel was clean and in close proximity to the airport. The shuttle was great, having said that I’m not sure the hotel should charge for it as the hotel room rate is high enough and should cover that. In the hotel there is a restaurant and I had their dinner. Great menu, everything I ordered was delicious, the service was very good and prices are reasonable.

I didn’t like the fact that I was told that whoever books their stay with booking.com breakfast is not included. I was told it was included only if you book directly with Best Western.

We needed to be by the airport for a 6:00 am flight and this hotel was perfect. The front desk let us store our luggage all day until our room was ready so we could go into Rome, when we got back to actually check in, it was easy to grab and there was no charge. In the morning, we needed to leave for the airport before the shuttle started operating, so they called for an early morning taxi and gave us an early morning wake up call. It was nice having a restaurant on site and the food was good. Everything was clean and well maintained. Glad we booked here

Overall a great stay: good location, nice facilities, very friendly staff, and the Internet was decently fast for a hotel. Also, the restaurant at the property was surprisingly very good -- definitely a step above what I expected!

It's a minor thing, but it seems odd to charge €8 for a shuttle to the airport when the name of the hotel is "Best Western Rome Airport". It's kind of implied that a very large percentage of customers are there specifically for the airport so shouldn't shuttle service just be included?

Convenient location - with a great pool, and on site restaurant that serves very good breakfast and also full menu dinners. Staff is helpful and pleasant to chat with. Also enjoyed the on time paid shuttle service to/from the airport. Even better the reception office has a refrigerated case that allows for some tasty snacks - love the ice cream treats that were available to purchase.

The only thing is the hotel is located over intermittent flight paths to the Rome Airport - if you enjoy watching planes land this is a great spot to see them up close and personal just before they land.

Great place to stay the night before a flight home. Very close to FCO airport. Restaurant was fantastic for dinner and lunch (breakfast was only 10 euros and worth it!). Shuttle service to and from airport was inexpensive (8 euros) and reliable. Front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely outdoor pool area and fitness room. Rooms were nice and hotel was quiet.

Hallway carpet is a bit tired. This is not the hotel’s issue: do not take a Rome city taxi to the hotel; it’s 35 euros! Take a local taxi or the hotel shuttle.

Just stayed overnight to catch our early morning flights. Got a room in the "new" section - first room just past the pool from reception (#1984) and this was a great location for us. Room had hard wood floors which was nice to see since description on booking.com said carpet! Everything clean and in order and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Was hoping for better weather to sit out at the pool but that didn't happen. Still, pool area is nice and looks like they have a little pool bar when weather agrees. Shuttle is great. Takes about 5 minutes to get to the airport. Nice location as there are other restaurants you can walk to close by. (Would recommend the Chinese - yes you read that right! - restaurant just down the main street next to the BW! Was a nice break from Italian food and was actually really good!) Breakfast looked good but I just got a cup of coffee which I took back to my room. Staff super nice and helpful! Everything nice and would stay here again!

Room had a funky smell when we first came in.... thinking it was maybe pipes that hadn't had water run down in a while? Seemed to fade as we stayed.
