The friendliness and helpfulness of staff who went over and above to make us feel welcome and accommodate our needs Rooms spacious,comfortable with efficient air con Leisure facilities clean and hot sauna/steam room Food quality and large selection That dogs are welcome and facilities available for them

We didn't like... That previous guest rubbish missed/left in room The shower leaked into bathroom if shower head repositioned That we had a dog and there were no dining tables and chairs to allow us to eat as a family. As such we had to eat on lounge chairs that were too low for the table making our dining experience in the evening feel awkward However these are all niggles and it certainly wouldn't stop us returning.

Staff was really helpful especially Kerry on the reception was a exceptional help and fulfilled all of our needs during the stay, the evening meal and breakfast was perfect!! 😁😁😁😁 We loved our room and bathroom was perfect the lighting was exceptional and very hot shower plus great comfortable room the garden and surrounding plants and trees was well kept also!!! The breakfast and evening meal was fresh and very delicious 😋🤤 Will be definitely staying there again!!!.

Everything was just good. Rception staff who was very welcoming and friendly, housekeeping ladies helpful and made sure our room was clean and we had all we needed. Restaurant staff super polite, chatty and positive and let's not forget about leisure center girls who were nice and understanding with our kids. We had a great stay, kids enjoyed they first night in hotel. Our bed was comfortable and sofa bed was good size for two 13 years old girls. Breakfast was tasty and served in clean restaurant. Laisure facilities great, just all we needed. I really can't say anything negative about our stay.

We like the hotel, location & staff. Rooms are OK & reasonably priced.

Our window was broken. We got moved. It wasn't put on the system, so another couple walked into our room at 2am. The cleaners tried to walk in at 8:30am, thinking it was empty, but we'd locked it. Our breakfast was still under our original room. Luckily, we remembered the number. Got back to our room & the room key didn't work. This is our 18th stay here since 2019 & it's the 1st time anything like this has ever happened. The lady in reception was very apologetic & understanding. She reimbursed our room cost & offered to let us stay till 2pm. Unfortunately, we already had plans, so we couldn't take her up on her offer. Windows need updating.

The room was big enough for a family of five. It had a good size desk and a minibar that the stuff restocked every day. The breakfast was better than the standard English breakfast. There's a good-sized indoor swimming pool and a kids' room with Foosball that was mostly vacant

The room was neglected, and it requires renovation. The windows to the street were very thin, and noise came from outside. The room was not clean enough, and we found spiders and ants crawling around almost every day. Wifi wasn't that great.

Good location just off motorway, convenient for an overnight stop. Nice reception and bar/dining areas. Excellent breakfast. Wide menu choice for dinner, a little overpriced maybe but nowhere else nearby to eat. Standard room was clean and comfortable, huge bed and good shower. The included leisure facilities were a big bonus, and made the price we paid excellent value. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym were very quiet on a Friday evening and we really enjoyed the facility. Generally very friendly and helpful staff. Only downside was didn't get the twin beds I requested...tried charge me extra to ' upgrade ' , although on my initial booking said both were same price. Double bed was huge though, and as we were mum and daughter it was ok !

Room service was difficult, no phone in the room and the qr code for room service errored. Tried to call reception but no answer ended up having to go down to the bar in my pj's. Ended up getting a refund but not ideal. Also several times you were waiting at the bar to be served and the restaurant staff would stand at the end of the bar chatting. Spoke to receptionist on check out and was told they probably weren't bar trained but understood how it makes you feel ignored and would address it

Breakfast was self service and very good. Thank you. The room was lovely, clean, warm and comfortable. The hotel provided everything that we needed. My son and I enjoyed a swim in the pool. I am very thankful that the hotel accommodated my request for a ground floor room as my son and I have a disability. Thank you so very much. The biggest THANK YOU has to go to all the staff who work in this hotel. What a lovely, friendly and very hard working team. Over the years I have stayed in many lovely places, including other Holiday Inns. This Holiday Inn outshines them all for its amazing staff team! What a warm welcome we received and every member of staff, from reception to dining, bar and housekeeping, every single member of staff were amazing! Going out of their way to help us enjoy our stay and see that we had everything that we needed. Thank you all so very much. The breakfast was great! First time I had experienced that I can order ấn omelette the way I like it on all of my bookings in the hotels. Great restaurant service! The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and very helpful. Thank you. I loved the pool and the sauna too plus a gym was a bonus. Late check out was great too.

The room allocated. I booked the double bed and when we arrived in the room, we were surprised to be given 2 single beds. I wasn’t informed at the time of booking neither on checking in that the double bed was a problem! Ị requested for a change when we got in to the room but I had to go on a waiting list. Had I not asked about the waiting, I wouldn’t be offered either. I was not informed at all of any update the following day. We had to move the beds together ourselves, no offer of possible help at all. We had to use the two single duvets which were very small too. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable.

Whether you're traveling for leisure or business, the accessibility and serene surroundings make this hotel an ideal choice. The rooms were impressively spacious and perfectly suited for families. It's one of the few places we’ve stayed where a family with small children can comfortably spread out and enjoy a relaxing stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was well-stocked with plenty of towels and bed linen, which made everything so convenient. What stood out most was how thoughtfully the room was set up for families. There was enough space for our kids to play without feeling cramped, and the overall cleanliness and attention to detail left us truly impressed. We also appreciated how close the hotel is to local attractions and amenities. Being near the motorway was a huge plus, as it allowed us to get where we needed to go quickly while still enjoying the quiet retreat the hotel offered. Overall, this hotel is great for families looking for comfort, convenience, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will definitely recommend it to friends and family!
