While the large room with a balcony overlooking the pool and the hotel's convenient location near restaurants and the beach were definite highlights. The room was exceptionally spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably. The balcony, which was accessible from the room, offered a pleasant view of the pool area. It was a delightful spot to relax and enjoy some fresh air. The hotel provided a parking space, which was a nice convenience for guests with vehicles. The staff at the hotel were also accommodating and flexible, readily addressing any requests or concerns that arose during my stay. The hotel's location near great restaurants and the beach was a definite advantage. It provided easy access to a variety of dining options and the opportunity to enjoy the beach within a short distance. This proximity to local attractions enhanced the overall experience and made it convenient for guests to explore the surrounding area.

The lights were dimmed, which created a cozy atmosphere but also had the unintended effect of making me feel excessively sleepy. It would be helpful if the hotel provided brighter lighting options or adjustable lighting settings to cater to different preferences. In the evenings, the noise from the bar could be quite noticeable, which may disturb guests seeking a peaceful and quiet environment.

Really every moment of this stay was lovely. There are nice little touches in the room that make it feel cozy and like a home - the balconies are flooded with light so you can have a beverage while your beachy clothes dry and listen to drum circles on the beach. They have bikes you can rent which are super helpful to tool around town - and the beach is ...right there. Staff is lovely as well. Would highly recommend and wanted there on my return to Byron from Yamba but they were booked!

I was in a room closer to the beach and the wifi was not strong enough to hold calls (video was an absolute no-go and even Zoom audio without video was choppy). Something to keep in mind if you want to work remote from here!

The location of this hotel was excellent- right near the beach and the shops, so easy to get to everywhere. We loved the charm of this hotel and the mix of modern facilities with mid-century decore. There was the option to purchase drinks and snacks from the in-room mini bar but were also offered free tea and coffee making facilities and some lovely complimentary biscuits. Robes and slippers were also supplied and we chose a sea view room which also over-looked the pool. The Schoolies event was taking place while we were there, but the hotel made sure we were aware of what was happening in the town and how entry to bars worked during that time (quite a new experience for us coming from the UK). We were only there for 1 night, but if I’m ever in Byron Bay again, I would definitely choose this hotel

The only small issue I would say is that the sofa bed had probably seen better days as it sagged quite a lot in the middle, other than that, no complaints.

Best location in the center of Byron Bay, directly at the ocean and directly downtown, so just few meters walk to the beach and few meters walk from the stores and restaurants, we were there during the cyclone Alfred when there was a lockdown, the staff was very accommodating and extending our stay day by day, nice pool with hot tub, it was very quiet when we were there because many people had cancelled there trip, I can imagine it being more noisy when it is busy as described in other comments, I like the washing and drying facilities, free parking

My teenage daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. Jane and the front reception staff were absolutely amazing. They were so helpful with assisting us in planning our days and offered us free bike hire - it really added to an easy-going holiday experience. I loved that our room had direct and close access to the pool via the back patio and loved even more that I could order a cocktail poolside that was bought to me from the attached pub. The other great bonus of staying here was its location. We literally walked outside the hotel to so many restaurants, cafes and places to eat and shop. The location was absolutely ideal and the friendly staff made us feel so comfortable.

Location amazing. Comfy and spacious sleeping / living area. Pool outside our room, warm and accessible Also parking and lift access great. And even though Schoolies opening weekend event, double glazing great.. and virtually no noise in apartment.

No big deal.. but bathroom air vent not working .. Also staff followed up promptly, and order g replacement. Also mini fridge door wouldn’t close properly, and very noisy at night.( So my partner would turn it off) .

Pool is amazing and warm - very deep so you can enjoy a good swim. Location cannot be beat - out the back door and straight onto main beach and out the front door and straight onto the restaurant strip. Staff were the best from our entire trip which included 5 star hotels.

Room was a bit dated but not necessarily a bad thing as they are huge rooms. There are definitely not enough pool chairs and people sit on them for ten years.

The location was excellent. It was directly across the beach and so one could easily move from the beach to the pool and back during the day. The beds were very comfortable and room cleaning very thorough. The stand out was how warm and helpful the reception staff were- they really made me feel valued.

1. My impression was that I had a direct sea view. My balcony was directly in front of the ocean (room 17) but most of the sea view was covered by trees in front of my balcony. 2. The hotel is a 3 star not 4 star but prices are the same as a few 4 stars closeby. If I had a view of the ocean i would have been ok with the price but not sure the price can be justified as compared to other 4 star hotels nearby. 3. The pool area did not have a shower or bathroom facilities. These should be standard for a hotel resort these days. 4. Given the rooms have concrete flooring, it would have been helpful if slippers were included in the rooms.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. A lot of amenities included: bikes, laundry, parking, beach towels. Good WiFi. Great location if you want to do a lot by foot. Staff were nice and polite.

The bar next door is noisy and the privacy level is low (people from the bar and the street can see the pool and inside the room). Rooms and pool look nicer in the pictures (although everything was very clean and well maintained). It’s a very honest hotel, but not very good value for the money.

Staff provided excellent customer service and were knowledgeable, pool was a great area to relax and was a comfortable temperature, beach towells were always available, the hotel had great proximity to the beach and town, and the free bikes were a great way to get around to see some sights.

In terms of personal preference, beds were uncomfortable. The room was dated, though were advised that some rooms had been refurbished with others to follow.
