The apartment is spacious, clean, and beautifully functional: full kitchen and laundry facilities, air‑conditioning, comfortable living area, free Wi‑Fi, and private courtyard or balcony. Staying here really felt like having a light, convenient home away from home, everything we needed to relax or entertain. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been much better. Just a leisurely stroll (approximately 300–400 m) brought us to Little Beach, Shoal Bay, and the local art centre in Nelson Bay, perfect for dolphin‑watching, beach walks, cafés and galleries. We appreciated the quiet, laid‑back feel of the complex while still being effortlessly close to the best of Port Stephens.

Our only real quibble was that the décor and some fixtures in and outside of the apartments felt a bit in need of updating in the apartments. Nothing deal‑breaking, but just enough to prevent an easy 9/10 rating.

Lovely little motel near the ocean. Clean and spacious. Full kitchen with all utensils needed. We took a short 3min drive to Shoal Bay which was beautiful, however you could easily stroll down to the nearby beach from the motel. The pool and BBQ area looked clean and like they’d be great in summer! Kids also loved the big spa bath with shower. We arrived late afternoon and a key was left in a lock box by reception which was easy, then we met with Chris the next morning to check-in. Chris was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

No aircon in bedrooms. No smart apps on TV (free-to-air or DVD only)

We were greeted by a friendly man at reception and check in was easy. The apartment was clean and tidy, gardens and pool were maintained nicely. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed in terms of pots, pans etc. We felt like we had privacy, the area was quiet. Location was fantastic, only a short walk to the beach and club.

If I had to fault anything it would be the couch was quite uncomfortable but that is just my opinion and the water pressure in the shower was pretty average.

Location was close enough to the town centre in a quiet local street. Just around the corner from the Diggers Club (walking distance 5 minutes). Place was very clean & exceeded our expectations. Full kitchen facilities with all crockery. Pool was clean. Staff were friendly & welcoming on arrival. Was very quite here as we travelled at the tail end of January. Has a communal BBQ area next to the pool with all the utensils & was kept very clean for use. There's also a very MINI putting golf area near the BBQs for the kids. Overall, really enjoyed our stay here with the family. **There is a Korean Fried Chicken Restaurant (GIWA Chicken & Beer) 2 minutes up the road on the same street near the round about. (Turn right out of complex & walk up the hill) Best fried chicken in town for sure. Really enjoyed their food for lunch. Highly recommend you try it!

Had young kids in the complex jumping in the pool in the evening with loud screaming after 8:30pm (after the pool was closed) but didn't bother us too much.

We stayed in Apartment 9. It was SUPER CLEAN and comfortable. You can clearly see this apartment was cleaned properly prior to our stay and is well maintained. Super clean curtains, vents, carpets, linen, blankets, pillows & bathroom/shower. It's great to see the property managers take pride in maintaining cleanliness and uphold the apartments to a high standard. Highly recommend this place to other families, Lovely clean pool and putt putt golf for the kids on the side of the complex. We will definitely stay here again.

The location was excellent, and the staff were very obliging. My husband and I arrived after hours so our room key was left in a locked box near reception. The room wasn't extravagant, but it was very comfortable and had all the essentials plus more. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use the pool, but it looked very clean and presentable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Beaches Serviced Apartments to my friends and family and I look forward to staying there again. Next time I will be sure to stay longer and enjoy the beautiful pool area.

I like how it is a smaller complex & away from all the crowded areas. It is very quiet & the accommodation & grounds are kept very clean. It’s only a short walk to the beach & location is central to all other beaches & shops. I love the solar heated pool & the apartments are equipped with everything you need. I have been coming here every year for the last 5 years. I would highly recommend these apartments for your next stay in Nelson Bay.

The main bed was a little hard for my liking.

Loved the apartment - perfect for the three of us and bed configuration worked well! Lounge was large and spacious, smart tv so could connect to all our streaming services to watch movies. Centrally located for where we needed to be! We will be back for sure!

Two small flights of stairs to the apartment but that may be an oversight on our end for not reading properly. Would be handy to have a few extra things in the kitchen like sauces (salt and pepper, tea and coffee, milks are provided)

Have stayed before and staff are lovely. Nice little heated pool (Perhaps a little too warm) but always clean! Handy spot and cosy small complex with easy access to room and pool. Have already booked for next year.

We booked a disabled room for the ease of walk in shower, but shower floor very slippery. I have mentioned this to the staff and suggested rectification with the bathroom floor with some sort of non slip material. Tried to BBQ but very very inefficient and resorting to cooking.

I have stayed at Beaches Apartment’s a few times, Adela & Chris are so friendly & if anything needs attention to it’s done immediately. …..the accommodation is spotless … beds comfortable All great The property is so handy to restaurants & you can go into Nelson Bay or Shoal Bay which is a beautiful 1/2 hr walk , Nelson Bay has a lovely little shopping area coffee shops & a cinema for rainy days !
