Honeysuckle apartments are in an excellent location, with sufficient cafes and restaurants within a short walking distance. Great walks along the foreshore to Nobbys Beach, the Lighthouse and Fort Scratchley, to name a few sights of interest.

Would have liked to have face washers provided. There were no instructions for the smart TV (we do not have a smart TV at home). The one remote TV control operated both TVs, in the lounge room and the bedroom. Found it annoying when the remote activated the bedroom TV rather than the lounge TV.

room was good. all is clean except for the coffee machine which has coffee capsule powder stucked. i originally booked a 2-bedroom apartment but was advised on the morning of our checkin that it is not available. we had to downgrade to a 1-bedroom apartment. Upon checkin, there have been issues with the booking that they charged us the price for the 2-bedroom. They acknowledged and refunded me the differemce but forgot to refund the parking fee. i tried to followup but no response. no complain with the unit, but the admin/booking process needs to be polished.

Great location. Short walk to Civic Theatre, which was why we were there. Very clean and comfortable, big comfortable bed much better than some of the reviews. Front desk sells good quality wine and coffee, just needs to get some chocolate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived the plug to the spa was missing (thanks to whoever thought it would be funny to take it). The poor maintenance guy spent half a day looking all over Newcastle to find one that would fit. Yes, the door codes are a pain but even I didn't have a problem with them, and it is better than having to carry a swiper all the time, maybe forgetting it or losing it. Now I have found a nice place to stay at a reasonable price I will probably come and see more shows in Newcastle.

Paid for late checkout and still had the cleaners knocking on the door at 10.05am. That was annoying, especially when you are on crutches. Also, could do with some ice trays and those wine stoppers to put in the top of your wine after you open it, in the kitchen. Not too big a deal and didn't ask for them so maybe they had them.

The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfy and unit contained everything we needed for a short stay. Everything was very clean.

I needed to return twice when door code didn't work, so had 3 codes before finally able to reliably access the unit. Maybe it was a bad computer day? The staff were extremely apologetic and remedied the situation each time. However had this not all happened while the reception desk was open it would have been a lot more complicated and stressful.

Location was handy, good size room and all the facilities you would require.

Some confusion with the check in process using JustinMobile app. Initial contact was to download app with a "key" code. This looked like an error initially as you couldn't get the code until closer to the check in time. It worked fine to get into the main front door but still needed to check in at Reception rather than proceeding to the room. This was not clear from the instructions.

The room in the city view drew admiration for the beautiful scenery every time, my mum was so happy. There was everything in less than 10 minutes, so it was convenient to move around and easy to go for walk across the road, enjoyed eater view and sunset. It was my first trip with my mum and daughter. My mum satisfied and so happy in here. The cost-effectiveness, location, and convenience were all satisfactory and I would like to stay here again next time.

We had to evacuate 2am middle of the sleep on the first night. it was small fire one of the room. It was a memorable event but there was a stain on the cushion, and a dirty plates left in the dishwasher.

Great location, good facilities

Very awkward to find. Located in the Chifley Bldg. however the only notification of this was on the check in email at check in time. I suggest that the initial confirmation email should indicate that Honeysuckle Appartments are in the Chifley Bldg. The sandwich board was inside the building. When seeking directions from the staff I had to ask if they were near the Chifley Bldg. to be informed they were in the Chifley Bldg.

We were 4 girls celebrating a 60th birthday. The location was perfect as we could park the car and walk everywhere - so close to the entertainment area. The room was set up with 4 single beds as requested and very comfortable. The room was spacious and met our needs. The kitchen was small but adequate. Great balcony area too.

No extras like platters and/or serving dishes but all other kitchen facilities available. There was a coffee machine but no pods available.

the key system is all app operated so sometimes it didn’t connect, it was frustrating. my family travelled so whenever they needed to go downstairs to pool gym, lifts car park etc they would need to take my phone to operate. after a day we asked for another phone number to be added to booking to stop this.

This apartment is in a great location for food and not far from beaches (like 5 minute drive). This made it easy to go places without having to drive much.

How expensive it is to park. The apartment costs more to keep your car underground then the carpark outside. One of the elevators was closed which made using the lift time consuming. And a minor thing in the apartment, there is only one plug to the left of the stove which meant you couldn’t use it while cooking.
