Friendly check-in, Room was somewhat older but very clean, more than enough stock in terms of amenities like tissues, towels, etc. No exterior view and no elevator but room was spacious and comfortable. Right near a major train station and tram service so very convenient... yet, at the same time, very quiet. Easy to find.

The location is great for anyone looking to access public transportation of any kind. The staff is very friendly.

There are no lifts so you have to carry your luggage. You get a lot of noise from upstairs if others move around. I unfortunately had some guests that moved furniture around all night on one of the nights.

Comfortable bed great facilities in room sink, fridge, kettle, tv, reverse cycle air conditioning and free tea and coffee. Yes, if you're unable to climb stairs, you should request first floor rooms. Stayed two nights in double room booked a single!! it was quiet up on the third floor, so i had a good sleep, thanks.

Affordable price for central location in the city near Central Station. Staff were friendly, allowed me to store my luggage and when I returned to check-in, they had already taken my luggage to the room. My room was on the 2nd floor and there were no lifts, so I was very grateful.

No lifts. Can be noisy hearing people go in/out of their rooms.

The hotel was quite private, has a nice location. Although it did not have an elevator, and the corridors look a bit scary, but overall the service was nice and the room got full facilities. Good for short stays (I didn’t use the shared toilets) I’ll say.

It’s priced bottom of the range and there’s no lift. The Central Private Hotel lives up to the adage, “you get what you pay for”. Even so, on that basis it is excellent for its close proximity to Central station, early morning airport access, Chinatown and down town. The staff are friendly and the CPH is basic but spotless.

Jay was the writing the desk. Super friendly and helpful. Always happy and smiling and tally made me feel comfortable. I could walk to anything I needed.

Great location. Near plenty shops restaurants bars & a stone throw from central station which can take you anywhere in Sydney! Staff were very friendly too

Have stayed at this hotel many times over the last ten years or so, and it is still as good for the price as ever. It's an old building. However, the friendly staff keep it exceptionally clean. Central location. TV and air-conditioner.

Very close to central station, and as all main stations in every city, there are some beggers around on the street, but it is safe. There are some stairs to climb if that's an issue for anyone.
