Staff was friendly and attentive. We were able to have an earlier check in than expected and Bernadette was so kind when she did it for us and also gave us a free upgrade without mentioning it. We were on the top floor and the view from the window was nice. We liked the black-out curtains that met sleep hygiene goals and we absolutely loved the free flow of coffee and tea st the lobby. There were also complimentary bites and fruits and candy and lollis and we thought it a wonderful touch for guests. We loved the location too. So close to Central Station!! And various eateries and supermarket. Can't recommend it enough.
Sound-proofing isnt the best so I got awoken a few times by noisy guests in the corridor but it wasnt the hotels fault. Bring ear plugs if you are sensitive about noise. The hotel is good value for money to suffer a bit of rowdy guests.

It was all great: room was no fuss but stylish, well designed hardware in the rooms, everything I needed (iron, hairdryer, somewhere to hang things, small table etc), natural light. Location really is walking distance (short walking distance not long walking distance!) from bus stop and light rail and train station. Fabulous having free coffee etc. and basic breakfast. Full marks! No need for these to be in the rooms and foyer is pleasant.
I usually prefer being able to open a window. Unfortunately there was an emergency evacuation at 4.30 am when the alarm went off. This clearly cannot be helped and at least the system worked, but I felt very panicky being woken so suddenly.

The location was excellent it was so close to the light rail and central station meaning everywhere was easily accessible. All of the staff were so friendly and approachable The free teas and coffees in reception were an excellent addition along with the grab and go breakfasts. The bed was really comfortable and the room was really clean and had everything I needed for my stay.
The privacy curtain for the bathroom did not extend enough to fully close the gap which allowed light into the room in the morning. If I was travelling with someone this would also have been a privacy issue As a solo female traveller I would have liked if there was an additional lock or security feature on the door meaning it could not be opened fully while I was in the room

Clean, convenient, our price was good, 24-7 desk, 24-7 hot beverages, brealfast offering is a nice idea
* With the breakfast offering - should consider adding catering for older clients - there should offer snacks/pasties suitable for diabetic requirements.- a fact of life for most seniors * Better lighting around the servery as the dark ambience makes it difficult for older eyes ie. I coujd not see the coffee machine choices * this one is a personal choice - we thought the mattress was a little soft * for us older clients the LED lighting was very bright - opposite to the foyer ambience

Everything was great, as always- I stay here every time I travel to Sydney. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room is exactly what I need (you're not charged through the nose for things you'll never use, and it's not a barren cell of a room either, it's the perfect middle ground), it's a short walk- maybe four minutes?- from the Central Railway Station and Murray's bus station, it's reasonably priced... Everything about it works perfectly for me, and I'd recommend it to pretty much anyone with similar travel needs.
I don't know how good it would be for families, especially with older kids, mostly just because the bathroom door is a clear sliding glass door with (separate) blackout curtains for privacy and I don't think it has a lock? And that might be uncomfortable. I personally don't have a problem with it. Just putting it here for visibility if it would be a problem for you! :)

I felt very safe and secure in the hotel. The staff were very helpful and efficient.Great close proximity to public trans port (train, buses and river ferries) to other suburbs.Room amenities were great.Aircon and tv very good.Fantastic tourist information in the room for dining out and local access to supermarkets to purchase anything required.Very good location close to many restaurants ,arts, entertainment and tourist attractions.
Perhaps a washing facility for clothing separate to the rooms (even though a laundry service is provided).

The location was perfect, easy walk to Central station and Light rail as well as Mardi Gras. Plenty of nearby food options, it's a great area to explore. The room was clean and tidy and met our basic needs. Comfy pillows. The natural light in the bathroom and the makeup mirror was great for doing makeup. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and efficient. The coffee and snacks in the foyer were appreciated.
Not enough storage, not a fan of the open hanging space. The bathroom was a little awkward, with the light switch located over the bed. The only source of natural light was through the bathroom, but we knew that coming in, so it was not a big issue. We saw 2 cockroaches during our stay.

The hotel is in a great location - very close to Central Station and walking distance to all that I needed during my stay. Great cafes nearby for eating and a Woolworths just down the road. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating and I was provided with a free upgraded room which was a nice surprise. The room was light filled, large and comfortable. The bathroom was massive and the bed comfortable. The breakfast supplies were a nice bonus. Free tea and coffee in the foyer at all times. Very much appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

57Hotel is within easy walking distance from Sydney Central train station. The decor is very upmarket and modern. The room was very clean and comfortable with minimal storage facilities, eg. the open hanging space is an arc with hooks and hangers. No tea/coffee facilities in room but there is a large beverage area in the foyer of the Hotel with coffee machines and teas open 24 hrs.
A couple of cups, plates, and some cutlery would go a long way to assisting with having a snack/meal after a late arrival. A Metro Woolworths is across the road from Central station on the way to the Hotel.

Ideally located next to the train station and close to the city center (20min walking), confortable, quiet, clean and very big room. Ideal stay in Sydney
Few small things need to be update in the bathroom (rusty, damaged, or dirty) The shower is not the most practical with this weird curtain stopping at mid leg resulting in having water everywhere in the bathroom when you shower. Somehow the lady at check-in was quite rude and not very nice, barely sharing basic information about the place (floor level and stuff like this), not really professional. Hopefully the other people I had to deal with at the reception were nicer during the remaining of the stay
