Friendly staff, free breakfast and easy parking! It is a good place if you just need a clean place to shower and sleep :)
The air conditioning in our room is terrible. We felt so cold and dry at night. We called up reception about this issue, and they arranged someone to our room for checking. The staff checked and advised that the air-conditioner is working fine, and room temperature can only go up to 24.5 degrees maximum. To be honest, 24.5 degrees may be comfortable for summertime, but it is definitely not warm enough for winter, especially on a windy and rainy night. Unfortunately, my husband caught a cold.

I liked the room - it had everything I needed and that it was close to shops and the location of the conference I was attending. The bed was good, but I would have loved access to a blanket (particularly for those that like weighted blankets for sleeping). It was close to a coffee club which was handy.
It was a little difficult to understand the staff (ESL) and there was no clear reception. It was with the bar which looked confusing. This also meant it was busy in the morning for checkout. The breakfast had ok variety, but did not have a fruit free granola option and the yoghurt was not great.

I was really happy with my stay here, and would definitely stay again! I was really happy with the accessible room, which had clearly had some thought put into its design. There was plenty of room to move, multiple seating choices, both low and high tables, lowered clothes rack and lowered tea and coffee station. There was even second lowered height peep hole in the door - with covers on both for extra privacy! The bathroom was mostly well designed. They'd actually remembered to put space for you to put things next to the basin! Unfortunately though, the floor wasn't angled correctly for the shower drain, which they've tried to fix by adding a low lip around the edge of the shower, which still didn't actually succeed in containing the water, so fortunately they'd provided plenty of towels! Another positive of staying here, though, was that breakfast is included for free! It was a simple selection, but for free that's entirely reasonable. I was slightly disappointed to discover that the shuttle bus I had been hoping to use doesn't actually run all day, just morning and evening, but fortunately it's very close to a bus stop and a short walk to the metro station
The one thing that I found extremely annoying was the light switches. You could not control each light individually (despite there being more than enough switches for it!) Instead they controlled sets of lights, and you could only use some lights if you turned on other ones first! So, for example, you couldn't just have the lamp on, or just the toilet light, you had to have the bedside lights and lamp or the main light and toilet 🤦🏼♀️

The room was very comfortable and amazing for the price - great value. Super Clean. The breakfast was a great option to have so i could fill up for the days adventures. The closeness to facilities and activities made it a great choice and i will happily return again.
they oversold the carpark - we went out to a concert and came back to find the carpark was full even through we already paid for it and had used it earlier in the day. Would have likes a bit more range with the hot food. only bacon, scrambled eggs and backed beans available - mushrooms or tomato would have been a great addition for those that are not keen on animal products.

The finishes on all the amenities The linen , bathroom toiletries, the tea ond coffee facilities. I particularly liked the Soft and Firm pillow choice and the fact that I was trusted not to steal the coat hangers. The breakfast was one of the best buffets I have had at any hotel recently including those I had to pay extra for
I’m not very good on my legs so the walk from the railway station wasn’t the best

Staff was really nice and polite. The hotel was clean and the included breakfast was delicious. They even have barista coffee right downstairs.
There should be more monitoring of what guests are doing. I have a disability card and had pre-booked parking, however, upon arrival at night, there were heaps of cars without a disability card on their windows taking all of the parking. I then had to park outside, which might as well be the street, yet I had to pay $25 anyway, which was not reimbursed to me. The pillows were awful also, gave us pain on the neck.

We were happy with our stay. The bed for Elizabeth was too firm for Todd was OK. We had appointments most morning, so we were out and came back around 2 pm or 3 pm. but one day we came back early and the room had not been refreshed, we went out to have lunch, then we came back and still had not been refreshed. We had to get up early the following morning so after a walk, we started to relax and then we heard a knock on the door about 4.30 pm or 5 pm with room service, we were tired so we said don't worry about today, but then the following days, again we came back and our room had not been refreshed - so we didn't bother with it all. We kept the room tidy anyways. The breakfast was good for us, the only thing for Elizabeth is that she doesn't like scramble eggs with milk or whatever other things are put on and the bacon was overcooked, but we found some pieces of bacon that were not too hard. We loved the yoghurts and fruits and the hot chocolate (we had to manage the sweetness and it was supersweet but we had to pour some then add hot milk to it. But these are just minor issues, we made do. We love the staff, especially at Reception - Maya :-) and others we did not catch their names. Todd said there could be more variety for the breakfast.
apologies I mixed everything on the other question

Breakfast was good and the location was perfect for access to Macquarie University. Comfortable room, but terrible choices on TV.
The staff were difficult. I needed a receipt for work, and they refused to give me receipt because I booked through booking.com. Very frustrating!! They were polite at check in though.

24h reception, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast.
Bed in accessible room is only offered as a queen bed. It would be better if offered with a split bed that can be configured as a queen or twin singles so there is choice. I would like to but can't stay with you when I travel with a friend or family member to provide me support as a wheelchair user due to bed configuration. I stayed on my own this time.

Breakfast and the day staff were great, the room has all the key elements to make for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness of the general areas (reception, lift and breakfast area) was great
Given the amount of business that this particular branch gets from the company i work for i feel the issues at check in could have been handled more professionally The room i was in had a faulty fridge that kicked in and out every 20ish mins with a clunk loud enough to wake you, this does make sleeping a little tricky. There was also a half consumed bottle of water in the fridge from the previous guest. Slight concern at the black marks on the wall above the bed but the mold growing around the vent was more off putting. I did tell the morning staff, as i am very aware that if no one tells you - you dont know.
