It was clean and the staff were nice
The bathroom was very small I had to put my clothes on the sink and they were getting wet from the shower my mum couldn’t shower because we were worried she would slip over there is no screen or curtain to stop the water going everywhere. Other then that it did the job it had two queen size beds they were comfortable not a lot of room for two suitcases and they did have tea and coffee facilities (bit more sugar would of been good ) but that’s not a big deal. I don’t think it was worth the price.

The fact that you could top up your coffee, sugars etc yourself from the laundry downstairs. The fact that they listened when we said we did not like the room they put us in and it did not match the pictures on the internet and they changed us to a more suitable room. That they had a weighing scale to see the weigh of your bag although it cost $2.00 to use it. They were close to KFC, MacDonalds with a cafe, and a donut shop. I think it was good value for money and I would stay there again.
The fact that it did not match the pictures they posted on the internet and when I questioned them about it they said they only had one room that looked like that and it was booked out. It took my daughter to go down and be assertive to get our room changed. Original room was oldest, wasn't well keep, shower facility out of the 70s. The second room was heaps better. Public transport is not accessible if you are limited in walking or cannot walk.

Rachna the front office staff was very kind to see the notes I left and gave me a quiet room away as I was returning after 14 hours in plane . Loved the bathroom bigger and better than ibis Strathfield one (hardly room to stand ) overall very nice experience they also helped me with shuttle bus for a nominal price for the journey . The bus partners the driver were both polite and nice during both times in the night and the next day morning . Will recommend this one night stay anyone who doesn’t stay in Sydney and was travelling like me to Newcastle or any other city the location is good for food as it had kfc and kripey crème McDonald near the premises for a quick bite .
Nothing that I can think of

We recently stayed at the Ibis budget on Ross Smith Avenue, and it's a great choice, especially if you have an early flight from Sydney's domestic terminal. The location is the real selling point here. It's an easy 15-minute walk to the domestic terminal, which is a huge plus when you're trying to avoid the stress of a tight travel schedule. For a budget hotel, the room was surprisingly spacious and well-organized. I appreciated having coffee-making facilities in the room, which is a nice touch. There are also several fast-food outlets nearby, so grabbing a quick bite to eat is no problem. Overall, the Ibis budget offers exactly what it promises: a convenient, no-frills, and affordable place to stay right near the domestic airport. I would highly recommend it for anyone needing a quick and easy stopover before or after a flight.

1. 9 mins walk from Sydney Domestic Airport and Sydney Domestic Airport train station which is inside the airport- the train takes you to Central in 10 mins and Townhall/Circular Quay in 30 mins from domestic airport train station Note: To get to the airport from the hotel, when you reach the t- junction after taking a right from hotel, take the left route instead of the right to get to airport easily 2. There is a shuttle bus Sydney Super Shuttle which will take you to the hotel for 12 aud. You can also walk to the hotel from domestic airport if you have less luggage
1. Didn’t have a wardrobe. Just a small hangar was there 2. Only restaurants nearby were Krispy Kreme, KFC, McDonalds and Mantra hotel

The Ibis Sydney hotel offers a convenient location just minutes from the airport, making it an ideal choice for travelers looking for easy access upon arrival or departure. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, designed to provide a warm and restful atmosphere, with improved lighting that enhances both relaxation and functionality. Guests benefit from seamless access to public transport, allowing quick connections to the city and surrounding areas. Just a few meters from the hotel, a nearby cafeteria offers a handy spot to grab a meal or snack without needing to venture far.

Conveniently located to Sydney airport and restaurants, suitable for an overnight stay for those with an early flight the next day. Block out curtains were useful to block light from the busy road and billboard outside. The room was simple but had a private bathroom, mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities, and power points to keep charge devices overnight.
The air conditioner was pretty loud and didn't seem to have an option to turn the power down to make it quieter. It also made the air much drier than other air conditioning units, so I had to get up to drink water a few times throughout the night.

I made the decision to stay as the late night trains to the Central Coast were not running due to network issues. The price was very reasonable for a late night booking ($120) and more than justifiable in the situation I was in. I appreciate the shuttle to the hotel and the amenities were great. Just what I needed.
It would be good if there was some signage at the shuttle location - the bus we took was large and gold and didn't have any identifying signage so it was difficult to determine if it was the right one, particularly at 10:45pm at night when you're tired. A lot of people were asking the same question after I got one.

Very conveniently located, we even walked our way there. The rooms are basic but they perfectly do the job, especially for a short overnight stay before a connecting flight. We did not have breakfast there so we cannot comment on that. Staff was very nice. We could leave our luggage before properly checking in, however note that it is in a dedicated room but all bags are mixed together and you leave/pick them yourself; I wouldn't recommend doing so if you are packing valuables. A few fast-food options around if needed.
Doors slam when shut, which can be a bit noisy. However no problem with earplugs.

Comfy bed, clean bathroom, good shower, all I needed for an overnight after cruise & flight home. Reasonable price, easy booking online & when I got to reception. My room was ready & available earlier than expected. There's a shuttle for an extra reasonable charge to airport. I walked, 10-15 mins easy walk.
If you wanted to be fussy the Netflix etc didnt work on the TV, I could only get the free TV. There were some black scuff marks on the walls where people had moved their luggage around. For an overnight stay & so convenient to the airport i was happy.
