Great views and location from the hotel. Easy walk to Kings Cross, Oxford Street and the centre of town. Comfortable rooms and beds and efficient staff.

Bathrooms could do with better ventilation.

When I booked the hotel the past reviews were not so great however I booked as I thought the location was good. I am glad I did as the location was really good, as Kings Cross Station is only 400m away and its only 2 stops to Darling Harbour where I wanted to be for the conference I came for. Even uber was super easy to take and the airport was only 15 mins drive. The staff was really good and always helpful. I got a spacious room with a view of the Sydney Harbor Bridge! what more can you ask for as it was during Vivid Sydney. The room had a queen size bed with clean sheets and 4 pillows, a mini fridge, hair drier, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and TV. Bathroom size was ok for me as it was indeed value for money and good flow of water with hot water. They changed sheets/towels daily and so I indicated not to as I do think of the environment. Air con and heater both worked and wifi was good. I also met a couple staying at the hotel who said they have come here multiple times. Would recommend the place as it totally worth for money. Hotel is super responsive so do message them if you have questions. Use the Premier Lane entrance especially if you are coming with large bags. Thank you for the hospitality and if I come to Sydney again I sure will stay here.

Staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel offered vending machine facilities which were well stocked along with a wide range of brochures for the area and a street map was always available at the front desk. Able to use the dinning area for food not purchased on premises along with a nice small balcony area. There was an option for continental breakfast. Rooms were made daily and bedsheets changed regularly. The rooms had coffee making facilities, fridge, iron and hairdryer. The hotel is well situated for access to public transport and shopping facilities.

Traffic noise from busy road. However, I had requested a room with a view and this faced the road. I suspect if I had had a room at the back of the hotel this would not have been an issue.

I stayed at the Ibis Budget for 4 nights over Christmas. I enjoyed breakfast, so I can't say much about that. Otherwise, I was very happy with the hotel. The location is quite convenient, close to the Kings Cross station. From there you can take the metro anywhere. There are also large supermarkets and restaurants there. I had a room facing the street. I thought the noise level was OK, not too loud. But it did have a view of the opera house. Wifi was good and strong throughout the hotel. Good value for money, considering the prices in Sydney. The room was big enough for one person. With two people with lots of suitcases, you'll have to cuddle a bit.

Amazing view from our 6th floor windows onto the opera house and botanical garden, fridge and kettle in the room, table and 2 chairs to sit down, bed was very comfortable, laundry facilities for a small charge, powerful air conditioning

Bathroom was so small that everything was left wet when taking a shower including the space before the toilet and the towel racks, unfortunately the fire alarms are old and sensitive enough to be set off by the steam from a hot shower if the bathroom door is left open during the shower (had to evacuate the hotel at 3am one night because somebody took a hot shower with the bathroom door open), can't open the windows in the room

Amazing location, friendly and helpful staff, really superb daily room service - trash taken out, bed is made, towels checked, etc - all daily. Though at the same time, they should do little more thorough cleaning here and there as the dust hanging from the AC was not appealing and neither were oily feet and baby hand prints on the side of a wardrobe. I cannot evaluate this normally since I have asked for early check-in (11am) since I needed to get ready for an event at the opera house. To end on the positive note, the harbor view from the window was amazing

There is a tiny bit of room underneath the main door, meaning you hear people talk in the hallway, even heard people take a shower somehow (no, not through the wall, but the hole under door). So it had slight dorms-like feel to it. But still great choice regarding value for money. It is a budget hotel after all.

Super convenient! Very central, staff was super super helpful, a lamp was broken in the room when we entered they immediately fixed it. There are even treats for the kids! Breakfast was very satisfying. I would recommend this hotel for other families

The room was facing the street, for people who mind road noise, I wouldn't recommend rooms that are facing the road. We were not bothered by it but I could hear the cars quite late or early hours. Also keep in mind that the family room is small, it was great for our 2 nights stay, but we would get a bigger room for a longer stay.

The room, the layout of it was a perfect size- big enough for comfort, and small enough to not get paranoid at night. Also absolutely adored the location- not too far from the city (I could see the Harbour Bridge very close), but far enough that I don't feel the hassle of it. And the location was so close to the train station and other stores and facilities. The facilities was so nice inside the room. The heater (it was winter) was a perfect combat against the peak of Sydney winter, and the wifi was strong enough that I could update Genshin with it.

The laundry's detergent dispenser didn't work, and the detergent box was empty. Luckily, because of the location of the hotel, it was close to a laundromat and I was able to go there easily.

Really big sized room with a couch, a table to eat at (no chairs though, only the couch), space to walk around the bed, and space to leave your suitcase open. There was good sound proofing between rooms, and my top floor room facing William Street had views of Sydney Harbour. It's a short walk to Kings Cross Train Station, or to plenty of cafe's and takeaway food places as well as both Coles and Woolworths. The staff were fantastic.

The room was cleaned well, but not thoroughly. The bathroom had really poor ventilation and a fair bit of mould on the walls that I think got worse over my 5 night stay. The heater also had loads of dust around the outlet, and really needed to be cleaned properly.

We arrived early around 9 AM, since we took overnight flight. Originally, we came by the hotel just to entrust our suitcases, however when I asked whether they have an available room or not, the staff immidiately prepare two cards for my room. I truly did not expect it, since usually most hotels will only let their guests to check in on the afternoon. So, this is a BIG plus, that this hotel let you to check in early. Then the next day, one staff helped me out when I needed to find a flower shop nearby. He pointed the place through google map, and yes, there is a convinient store sells flower in Victoria street (a block away from the hotel). Thank you for the helped of the staffs! They also always clean up the room everyday and change the sheets as we requested. The view from our room is 5/5!

I wish they have iron and hair dryer in the room or at least to prepare those upon request.
