Great views and location from the hotel. Easy walk to Kings Cross, Oxford Street and the centre of town. Comfortable rooms and beds and efficient staff.

Bathrooms could do with better ventilation.

Staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel offered vending machine facilities which were well stocked along with a wide range of brochures for the area and a street map was always available at the front desk. Able to use the dinning area for food not purchased on premises along with a nice small balcony area. There was an option for continental breakfast. Rooms were made daily and bedsheets changed regularly. The rooms had coffee making facilities, fridge, iron and hairdryer. The hotel is well situated for access to public transport and shopping facilities.

Traffic noise from busy road. However, I had requested a room with a view and this faced the road. I suspect if I had had a room at the back of the hotel this would not have been an issue.

The location is really nice! Within walking distance to the gallery, museum, church, and basically all the tourist spots. The front desk staff were all very friendly and made me feel truly welcome. The price was also great as I booked in advance — overall, it's an excellent value for money. Especially the location — so many attractions are just a short walk away. Super convenient!

The shower water pressure was too low — I wish it was stronger. The air conditioner was extremely noisy, but it was too cold without it, so I had no choice but to sleep with it on. Also, the door lock was very hard to open — I had to insert the key card over ten times before it finally worked. At first, I thought the card was faulty, but the same thing happened every time I returned.

When I booked the hotel the past reviews were not so great however I booked as I thought the location was good. I am glad I did as the location was really good, as Kings Cross Station is only 400m away and its only 2 stops to Darling Harbour where I wanted to be for the conference I came for. Even uber was super easy to take and the airport was only 15 mins drive. The staff was really good and always helpful. I got a spacious room with a view of the Sydney Harbor Bridge! what more can you ask for as it was during Vivid Sydney. The room had a queen size bed with clean sheets and 4 pillows, a mini fridge, hair drier, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and TV. Bathroom size was ok for me as it was indeed value for money and good flow of water with hot water. They changed sheets/towels daily and so I indicated not to as I do think of the environment. Air con and heater both worked and wifi was good. I also met a couple staying at the hotel who said they have come here multiple times. Would recommend the place as it totally worth for money. Hotel is super responsive so do message them if you have questions. Use the Premier Lane entrance especially if you are coming with large bags. Thank you for the hospitality and if I come to Sydney again I sure will stay here.

We were looking for a place to sleep while in Sydney for an event. It was close to the station and other shops which suited us well. The space was lovely and neat, and met every expectation we had.

I did a silly and left some uneaten bag of pastries in the bar fridge. They were gluten free from a dedicated bakery which I don't get to experience very often so I was very upset when I called back a short time later after checkout to hear that they'd been thrown out. Perhaps a phone call for something of that nature would be appreciated for others also, but I also understand that I made the mistake of leaving them.

I stayed at the Ibis Budget for 4 nights over Christmas. I enjoyed breakfast, so I can't say much about that. Otherwise, I was very happy with the hotel. The location is quite convenient, close to the Kings Cross station. From there you can take the metro anywhere. There are also large supermarkets and restaurants there. I had a room facing the street. I thought the noise level was OK, not too loud. But it did have a view of the opera house. Wifi was good and strong throughout the hotel. Good value for money, considering the prices in Sydney. The room was big enough for one person. With two people with lots of suitcases, you'll have to cuddle a bit.

Complimentary water and fruits on arrival. Buffet breakfast was perfect with chef assisting with coffee. Location was close to all amenities, was safe to walk around at night.

Housekeeping staff knocking door for checkout before 10am , when I was aware of checkout time, They were talking outside the door 20 minutes before time while I was getting ready to checkout. I found it abit rude to disturb my privacy. Housekeeping staff should wait till 10am the checkout time then knock or check with reception. And I would like housekeeping to add some fragrances or freshner in room.

The room was bigger than expected so we could fit all our 2 large and 2 small suitcases. The location is really convenient too and there were enough restaurants and bars around to go to for food.

The bed was a little uncomfortable because it was 2 single beds pushed together so if you slept in the middle you were sinking in, which wasn't the best. Would be better to have an actual queen-sized bed. The breakfast was all right, pretty limited. I wouldn't say it was worth the extra price but it was convenient if you're not looking for hot food.

Amazing view from our 6th floor windows onto the opera house and botanical garden, fridge and kettle in the room, table and 2 chairs to sit down, bed was very comfortable, laundry facilities for a small charge, powerful air conditioning

Bathroom was so small that everything was left wet when taking a shower including the space before the toilet and the towel racks, unfortunately the fire alarms are old and sensitive enough to be set off by the steam from a hot shower if the bathroom door is left open during the shower (had to evacuate the hotel at 3am one night because somebody took a hot shower with the bathroom door open), can't open the windows in the room

Although the Ibis is branded as 'Budget', which it is, this is more than made up for by the friendliness of the staff and the extras on offer. In the room was an iron, ironing board, hair dryer etc, with plentiful supplies of tea, coffee, sugar etc and even a carton of fresh milk. The room and bathroom were spacious and well lit. I also had a view of Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge which.was a bonus.

The downstairs (William Street) entrance didn't always open with the key card, which was somewhat frustrating.
