The rooms were spacious! We had 2 bedrooms, each with their own bath, and the general living space and kitchen were a bonus. The location was convenient, though I wish it had been closer to a metro station. We took the bus into the city, and it was quite crowded, but it worked out ok for us. The local convenience stores sell Opal cards to use on all public transportation, and the two local restaurants we tried were great - friendly with good food. Staff at the hotel were friendly and quick to respond to our requests, including getting us some ice trays for the freezer.

Our climate control remote needed batteries, and the shower door needed repair because it wouldn't stay closed. The bathrooms could also use bathmats.

Good position. Friendly staff. The one bedroom unit was very big with huge balconies. The king bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils (although no cooking oil) and the coffee machine welcome. Good to have the option of parking, even if you pay extra. Lovely full rainbow from the hallway windows. I definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

Having to go up stairs once inside the unit. It was hard to warm the living area as it was so big and open with the staircase inside. The aircon unit probably would have been better placed in the living room section rather than dining room. But it was otherwise very comfortable.

We love staying at Waterloo Meriton when attending the Moore Park sporting events. We book yearly for the cricket test which allows us to walk daily into the venue without the need of a car or transport. We aren’t young but easily manage the mostly flat walk. The apartments have everything we need and are spacious and comfortable. We like the large bed with its good quality linen. Although you don’t get the daily servicing of the past any requests for extra towels, toilet paper etc are immediately brought up. The convenience of a well stocked Coles supermarket and many food outlets allows us to eat in or eat out as we please. Parking is $30 per night which is average for the city and the car can be taken in and out whenever we like. We stay here regularly and will continue to do so as it suits us fine. The staff are friendly and obliging.

Nothing.. it fits us well

Each time we're in Sydney we always book at the Meriton Suites. The location was perfect for a travelling family. Close enough to access the city by Uber or Public Transport. Check in process was effortless and genuinely friendly, and they accommodated our very late check-in. Our apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Close to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, as well as beautiful parklands. Amazingly comfortable bed, clean and functional bathroom for a travelling family of 4.

The pool facilities were off-site, but not a far walk (approximately 3 minutes).

These generous sized suites are very good value for money in inner Sydney. Helpful.welcoming staff on site. Very comfortable & very clean with good kitchen & bathroom facilities. Sufficient kitchen items to prepare meals & washing machine too. Appreciated the coffee machine, coffee pods, tea bags & generous milk on arrival, thank you. Good location w local supermarkets & cafes, or can walk to Surrey Hills. Local bus services. Swimming pool is 5 minutes walk at local gym. Will definitely stay again.

We will definitely stay again. No faults w apartment, The spa at the pool was over-chlorinated but to be expected given the number of users. The pool & sauna were terrific & included in rate.

Wonderful place to stay. A short walk to the SCG for the game we were attending and lots of cafes, eateries and Supermarkets close by. We were upgraded from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment which was wonderful and the staff were amazing and were quick to come up to the room when we dialed for help with a couple of issues which were solved quickly.

This is the only thing that was negative. We weren't leaving the Motel until late afternoon the following day as we were at a football game but had to pay another 24hr parking fee even though we didn't arrive at the motel until 4pm the first day. The parking time is from 12pm to 12pm even though you can't book in there until after 3pm. I remember in the past not having to pay another 24hr parking fee but this has now changed. If you are only staying one night, I think the parking should be from when you arrive to when you leave the following day.

I asked for a room from the other side of the busy street and I am very happy that it was possible. We received a bigger apartment, with one of the bedrooms from the opposite side and how happy we were! The bedroom was great, what's important - quiet :), with big mirrors and wardrobes and super super comfy and big bed so we had a great sleep. The whole apartment was super spacious, two couples could stay there easily and comfortably for a month. Had a big kitchen with big dining table, so many storage cupboards! two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a proper study room, a laundry room and great views from the balcony on the park.

Busy street next to the hotel but we didn't mind it for what we've got.

Our arrival at the Motel was met with a warm welcome. The room was warm, clean and inviting.

After reading what to expect with facilities eg Bathroom amenities such as the list of provisions....no dental kit... No flannels, which should be standard Having to make special request for towels and hand towels for the following day No extra blanket available for bed Bare essential coffee for 2 people over 2 nights No water bottles in Fridge....had to buy our own If someone is there for a quick visit, tell them what is just around the corner from Motel eg Supermarket, Bottle Store or Cafe. Not just a brochure of sights to see in Sydney.

I had driven for hours from another city and was very much looking forward to using the toilet. Room wasn’t ready even though I had booked early check in. I had to wait on the floor in reception for over an hour (they were very busy all the chairs were taken). Reception was packed and only one toilet to over 20 people. After all the hassle they kindly upgraded my room for free! Easy parking, good service (especially the night staff!).

The door to my room was outside the complex on the street. Quite far from reception. I didn’t know the rooms worked like this prior to booking. As a solo female traveller this made me feel a bit unsafe and uneasy coming back at night. The front desk also didn’t explain the gate key very well (there was a gate out the front of the room door as extra security). I didn’t understand that the gates self lock and you had to have two keys to get into the room (one for the room and one for the gate) and locked myself out at 11:30pm on the street and had to walk alone along the dark street to reception to get security (they were very understanding).

I enjoyed the comfort of your two-bedroom apartment and the spacious lounge. Excellent facility with big lounge and cooking facilities, washing facilities. I really enjoyed the stay hence I have booked to come and stay there again next week.

I recommend that the rooms be cleaned after two days. Otherwise, stock up on enough towels and toilet paper so that we do not need to keep calling to ask for replenishment. Also if we can find a way to shorten the walk to reach Block C as it is a long walk to get to the lift to Block C at the ground floor and the option of the long walk at Level 7 to the other lift to BLOCK C.
