Large room with comfortable bed, clean, table and chairs, microwave, fridge, plates and cutlery, kitchen sink. Ample bench room and storage Lovely big towels. Smart TV. Parking. Large windows on both sides of the room. Good shower.

Microwave oven was located on a shelf about 2 inches off the floor, not sure why as there were other shelves and a large bench. The bathroom was very small it needed a shelf to store your stuff, plus more hooks or a larger rail for the towels. More toilet paper as half a role for 3 nights was not enough. There was no office so couldn't just go and get some, luckily we saw the cleaners and asked for more, as they didn't clean our room on day 2, I think you had to put a sign out.

Check in was just so easy, receiving the text msg with the door number and code - fantastic. Loved the building itself, so old school with the gorgeous pastel coloured doors and so conveniently close to Thirroul Beach and also, the Beach Pavillion for breakfast. Loved the use of Netflix, tea/coffee facilities, super comfy beds and a decent HOT shower! Towels were fluffy and soft and it just ticked all of the boxes for an easy, well priced stay.

Getting picky now - only that it said there were tea/coffee facilities and biscuits. My 14yr old daughter was sad to find no biscuits! But I couldn't complain, we absolutely loved the place and will definitely be back for longer next time :)

room was spacious, we were in room #7, check-in process via text with a code to the keypad door lock was great, easy. basic breaky included, weetbix, cereals, milk, tea and coffee and a bar fridge, sink and washing up facilities. bathroom very dated but functional. shower curtain, light on with fan, so can be noisy. small shelf above tiny sink. Restaurant next door for food and drinks, great vibe, closed 10pm on a Friday night. shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied. very close to restaurants and beach.

need more shelving in outdated bathroom and better lighting and not a noisy fan. Cost was very high for what we got. just under $300 for 2 adults and 2 kids for a very basic, outdated room 1 Friday night. room only had horizontal shutter/blinds, light came through.. at night it was street lights and morning was the sun.. block out curtains need to be installed.

I really liked the door code idea saves carrying a key with you. Great idea 👍 The beds were very comfortable & the facilities were clean & tidy. We only stayed one night. It was within walking distance to Anita's Theatre that was very handy. The room was a good size & warm not too hot or cold, a good temperature even though it was fresh outside & a little windy. Thank you for a comfortable stay. Especially when I don't like driving at night time 2hrs+ from home.

Nothing open that we knew of after the show at Anita's Theatre from 10 pm as we didn't have much to eat earlier for dinner. The glass bench in the bathroom above the sink I thought was a little dangerous, we didn't have any alcohol but if someone did & was a little tipsy they could have easily hurt themselves on the glass bench above the sink if they weren't paying attention especially when cleaning your teeth or washing your face. Nothing open on a Sunday night food wise like a takeaway pizza shop, the pamphlet was on the microwave was a good idea except they were closed after the show & we were a little hungry so not much open for a late feed. Everything else was fine Thank you 😊 🙂

The room was light and clean and easy to find and get into. The shower was good pressure and nice and hot. The room was easy to make warm when we arrived. There was plenty of space for the two of us to put our separate luggage for the night. We felt safe. We didn't hear any noise from the surrounding rooms. It was very accessible to places to eat and to Anita's Theatre where we were headed for the night.

The sign for the hotel facing the main street (Lawrence Hargreave Drive) is not lit up and we drove past then had to circle the block to try again to find it. The double bed was very soft and had like a speed hump in the middle - was it two singles joined together? Having said that once I found a good spot it was fine. I just had to keep finding it as I woke through the night. My friend had the single and she said it was really comfortable. My friend woke up cold and could not find a spare blanket. (She put her jumper on so it wasn't a big deal but just as feedback)

The place was literally about a couple of mins walk to the Beach, so very accessible. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful. Close to the main town center was a mega plus point.

We had an infant with us on the trip and it would have been good if the staff would have allocated a ground floor room at the motel. But, we were given a 1st floor room, stating that the motel was fully booked out and had to struggle carrying the baby stroller up and down the steps each time during the stay.

Fantastic location, love the old school motel vibes with updated beds, furniture and kitchen facilities. A short walk from the station, to the main shops and to a variety of restaurants and beaches. Easy access via a code sent early the day of check in, and regular efficient cleaning conducted. The breakfast cereals were a nice addition. Friendly cockatoos came to visit often, a perfect place to stay to enjoy a relaxed mini break by the beach.

I loved that they provided toiletries which were all amazing! The showers are hot, the bed sheets are clean and they provide complimentary breakfast in the fridge. The beds were super comfy. Although it was a motel, I didn’t hear the neighbours so the walls must be thick.

The only thing I didn’t like was that there was mould around the shower and bathroom walls. But it wasn’t alarming where it was a health hazard and I know how hard they are to get rid of!

We did not like entry to our room room by code with out any human contact. We are used to talking to someone at reception and getting useful local information and tips on things to do and see. There is also a security and safety factor with no management person on site with just a phone number to ring!!

We liked how clean room: 6 was. And the bed was very comfortable. Nice hot shower. Having packets of cerial in the fridge was helpful too. Very close to the shops was an easy 3 minuet walk.

The bathroom was old but very clean the metal surround on the taps of the shower were hanging off. The microwave was just working, I felt a bit concerned using it. Felt dangerous. Definately needs a new microwave in room 6.
