location excellent, room excellent.

No parking at the front made it very difficult to get to reception. I entered the public parking using my credit card and told them I was staying there. I checked out on Saturday, no staff and left my room key at reception. I was not told how to get out using my room key. A staff member let me out of the locked parking but I had to use my credit card to get out and was charged full public rates. I could not talk to anyone because of no staff and very limited parking outside. Tried to fix the problem on the following Monday but got no where. Not happy with this parking arrangement.

After arriving found pool not available which was one of the reasons we booked here, asked if there was some alternative arrangement with a nearby facility - management didn’t bother to reply Unable to stream or connect TV to our subscribers, staff couldn’t fix the problem again matter was referred to management who again didn’t bother to reply

Amazing Location right at the end of the Queen st mall. Could get a better location. Price was very good but would have been no so good if we didn’t get one of the very limited car parks. Apartment was Clean and spacious. Sofa bed was as good as you’d expect from a sofa. 2 seperate bathrooms big fridge and lounge.

Very Limited parking. We got the last car park and the group that drove in behind us spent 30 minutes driving around finding other parking arrangements. Parking spots should be allocated to specific rooms and not a first in basis. Dryer was out of order which we could have used but not a massive problem.

Very comfy beds. Excellent location - close to supermarket, shops and food. Very easy pick up and drop off for taxi/uber. Excellent dining room and kitchen area for family stay. Washer and dryer is super helpful too! We will stay here again next time we are in BNE.

Not a major issue but only getting one room key was a bit inconvenient. Wasn't major so we didn't call to get another one, but we did have to call each other to come down and let the other in if we went out separately (e.g. for a run, to go to the market, get coffee/dinner, etc.)

The position of MacArthur Chambers is wonderful! Close to Central Station, Woolworths, Starbucks and Queen St Mall! All within walking distance with really only 1 slightly "up-hill" pedestrian walkway (which was on our departure anyway, en route to Central Station...but to compensate for the slight incline.. Starbucks was in the middle of it! Winning! Haha!) Also, each individual room (We stayed in the Penthouse apartment ~ Room 902) was individually temperature controlled via an iPad located on the wall. The lounge also had a lovely, comfortable leisurely chaise lounge complete with a lovely little "Nana Lap Blanket" neatly folded at the end for when one got a little chilly whilst watching TV/reading/relaxing/napping! Which I personally thought was a lovely touch of comfort! The washer & dryer in the laundry were both superb! Modern, clean and more importantly... whisper QUIET!! Too many times, in too many other places I have stayed at...the laundry equipment has been old, outdated, with long winded washing & drying cycles and sooooooo, sooooo clunky & loud! (and they seem to mostly always have someone's random sock or piece of underwear left behind in them! 😧) But NOT at MacArthur Chambers! Defs no random sock or random piece of underwear to be seen at all in either the washer or dryer Winning! Haha! Full size refrigerator. Comfortable beds complete with comfortable bedding and luxuriously comfortable pillows! (Only 1 pillow per person on each side of the bed though...I personally prefer to sleep with 2 pillows, but as stated, that's MY PERSONAL preference.) Generally speaking, 1 is all that is needed at the end of the day anyways!

Location was exceptional, a short walk from Central, opposite the mall and very close to public transport. It has the added bonus of a Woollies downstairs in the basement. The room was comfortable and clean. The kitchen well appointed and clean. Bother bathrooms were lovely. The ensuite was easily accessible and the second bathroom had a large tub with shower in it. There was also a washer and dryer. The double bed was very comfortable. I was on the sofa bed, the mattress was a little thin, as they all are, however I slept well.

The location absolutely cannot be beat. Was nice to be able to pop back to the room to drop shopping, use the bathroom, and just relax as needed. Two bathrooms was perfect and great. While we didn’t cook it would have been perfect for a long term stay.

Couldn’t get in to park car until check in time despite being previously told I could get in earlier. If I can’t park until two I wouldn’t have arrived until then. Staff gave different messages. None of the clocks in the apartment were set properly or worked.

The staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was absolutely beautiful - the whole building is beautiful and the view from my room was stunning. When I come to Brisbane again - I will definitely be staying with you again.

Overall it was wonderful - the only thing that I noticed was that the air-conditioning was a little hot and the room did not cool down very well unless I opened a window and let the cooler air in. The cleanliness of the room was great however there was some repairs and maintenance that had been done that we noticed was extremely dodgy workmanship. It would be a shame to end up ruining such a beautiful apartment through dodgy handyman work moving forward - so I think you need to watch that.

Nice, clean apartment, well presented. The whole complex including the hallways was always clean. Although the apartment complex was at the bottom of Queen Street Mall, once the patio door was closed, we couldn't hear any noise. Sadly it rained almost the whole time we were there so we didn't get to do much in the city.

The pool and the sauna were unavailable, yet we still had to pay the full amount for our stay. On the second night there was no hot water so we had to have cold showers. We even tried the shower in the gym, but that had no hot water either. The staff acted as though we were invisible. When entering the small reception area, they did not even acknowledge our presence, and always looked down.

The location of the apartment was fantastic. The apartment was close to the main Queen Street shopping area. The apartment was spacious and well air-conditioned. The apartment contained all of the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay.

When entering the apartment for the first time the cooking/grilling odour from the previous guests was strong. It took the duration of my stay to remove the smell by keeping the door open to freshen the apartment. The mattress within the apartment is well-worn and needs to be changed.
