The location is fantastic, so close to shops and restaurants. It’s also aesthetically pretty and definitely has a great vibe. Lobby bar is great.

I think for the amount of money you pay to stay there you should have double beds in the twin rooms not single. Also- the service at Hellenika was shocking. Not to mention the food- it was so basic and boring.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed and wonderful, in a great location. However, it is very crowded and there is not enough space for food or pool for the number of guests. The food is great. The staff are lovely.

There is little space by the pool which is not big enough for the number of people. Therefore, you might find yourself on a mat on the edge of the pool if you don't get down there early. There are often a lot of groups of young people drinking cocktails in the pool, so not much swimming. Uniform for guests is white, black and beige. It is not as good as it used to be and resting on its laurels somewhat. It is expensive.

Rooms were fantastic. In room dining was great and actually probably better than the meals I had at Lobby Bar.

Drinking glasses in my room weren’t swapped/cleaned in 3 days. I asked the cleaners if they could change them one day and they said I should leave a note for the cleaner. Not a huge thing though!

I’ve stayed at the Calile multiple times and during my most recent stay we had a few hiccups that the general manager and guest relations manager promptly resolved for us. They were super lovely and helpful. I’d now highly recommend this hotel to others, it is a beautiful venue and has helpful management that are keen to make your stay a good experience.

the buzz around the the calile is high - as is the price tag. and therefore our expectations. the hustle and bustle around the pool and at the lobby bar did not disappoint. we in particular also enjoyed our coffees and drinks at the lobby bar, which is run by hands-down the most attentive and friendly staff you could wish for. other highlights included the well-equipped gym and the generous walk-in shower in our room.

the rooms look better on photos than in real life: they seem a bit (too) cold overall and in parts lack the quality we expected (e.g. what seemed to be a natural stone floor turned out to be plastic). we do not think that booking a terrace room is worth an extra charge at this hotel.

Huge rooms, lovely amenities, friendly staff + fun location!

Unfortunately we were presented with heavy rain for two whole days. The sun appeared on the day we checked out. Our entire trip was based around a very young ones enjoying their first holiday in hotel with a pool. We requested a late check out which understandably was not available. We however were shocked to find that the kids not continue to swim and enjoy the pool for additional hour post check out. I do not see the harm in letting them, given my partner and I would have continued to spend money at the pool restaurant and bar. Of which we ended up doing in their lobby bar as we waited to get an Uber to airport.,

The location is excellent, with loads of fantastic restaurants & shops in the immediate neighbourhood. The public spaces, bar & restaurants were all great. The aesthetic is elevated & modern whilst also referencing mid century architecture in a really appealing way. The rooms were really comfortable with great amenities, toiletries and nice coffee in the room.

The pool was a bit too much of a scene for my liking and way too busy to feel like you could have a relaxing time there.

Staff were excellent. Room was very comfortable, as was the bed. Bathroom exceptional. Impressed with the presence of a library and a roof top garden supplying the restaurants. Concern for the environment exemplified by the situation of bee hives on the roof.

Furniture selected more for looks than comfort. Plentiful hanging space in the bedroom, however no doors meant hanging clothing on full view. Hellenika restaurant a disappointment for breakfast - food mediocre and overly expensive.

Very simple rooms. Toilet so small that when sitting on it you can not shut the door. Lower specs in rooms + could be more pristine in terms of cleanliness, based on what we expected for price given we usually stay in 5 start hotels around the same price. Value for money not the best. Amazing location if you love food or shopping, great cafe for breakfast In the hotel.

Tiny toilet, can’t even shut door as bangs into your knees when you’re on loo. Great pool area.

My room was uncomfortably warm and we could not change the temperature, so we had a poor sleep. Curtains also not block out so we woke at sunset and could not get back to sleep Breakfast good, but had to ask about my coffee order twice. It was ordered 15 minutes before food, but food came first. When it arrived, I had to send back coffee as it was not what I ordered
