Nestled in a superb location, just minutes from the beach, a leisurely stroll along the shore leads to Surfers Paradise beach and the charming eateries near Cavill Avenue. Quick access to the Cypress Avenue light rail station for convenient travel. Rooms on higher floors offer stunning ocean vistas, perfect for beach gazing. Generously sized rooms and beds cater well to families with two kids. The ambiance is relatively new and spotless, complemented by a warm and accommodating staff. One slight flaw to note is the washbasin's proximity to the wall, causing water splashes due to positioning as there is a mirror shelf provided. It would be much appreciated if a small stool for children’s use so that they can stand on for washing independently. In conclusion, our stay at this hotel has been immensely gratifying, nearly flawless in its offerings.

Modern and funky so a nice change from traditional 5 star hotels

Bath tubs unnecessary -- they are too thin and short to have a comfortable bath so I figure they are 'just there because'. It made it extremely difficult for an older person (me) to get in. They also need a safety handle to help with this rather than rely on the (sturdy) glass partition...and once in, the shower to hang on if there was a mobility problem. They did not have one of those ugly mats to go on the bath floor and I figured it was 'because' they are ugly and everything else is so beautiful. Next upgrade just have walk in showers!

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. One of the lovely receptionists recommended Burleigh Head to me, and it was stunning! They helped me check in a bit early and gave me a free drinks token to use in the bar while I waited. It's so close to the beach, tram and bars or restaurants. The pool area is gorgeous. The pancakes from the cafe were delicious. The bed is the most comfortable thing I've ever slept in! The room was spotless, very spacious, lovely balcony. It was peaceful to sleep. You can hire a bike for free. Small gym with decent amount of equipment. Everything was perfect!! The staff were working over Christmas and delivered high quality service! Thank you QT - would book again in a heartbeat! Best hotel.

Loved how clean the property and room was. All staff were super friendly. The buffet was great with heaps of options. Room service was fast and great food options. Kevin Murphy products and Dyson added a really nice touch. Loved the beer garden and pool area.

I don’t like that QT is cashless. The gym was extremely small and was difficult to get a workout in with high demand. Pool chairs limited and highly sought out making it difficult to get a seat! Paid extra for parking car at premises, I think it would be nice if this was included .

Good location. Decent room size. Some staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a bit tacky. Things look nice and quirky but don’t work very well, for example, you get Missoni home bath robe which is luxurious but shows screen is a tad too narrow and water goes everywhere after a shower. Sink is too small, and again water splashes everywhere. To request for simple housekeeping items like extra towel (because the bathroom floor is wet!) has to be done on the tablet in the room and it doesn’t get delivered until housekeeping is done the next day. They don’t replenish the tea bags in the room u less requested. It is also the first time that I had to stay in line to get to the cafe for breakfast even though I booked it with the room. The systemic place slows down everything. Had high hopes with the hotel but all these little things was a bit of a let down.

The beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed beautiful sea view from our room balcony. Great location with parking available. Walking distance to the beach and night markets. Nice pool although quite small in size.

1) The bathroom size is very small. 2) We wanted to request for extra floor towels and then realized that we had to submit a request online within a set timeframe for such requests, which I didn't find very convenient.

I love this hotel!!! The staff are so friendly, the rooms are huge with amazing views! We stayed in the city view king and it had a lovely view of the river. I’ve stayed in about 40 hotels in the last 3 months and this hotel has the best mini bar out there! This room was way better then the Hilton down the road. The gym was also fab! Love the spinning bike!

The only reason it didn’t get a 10 was because the pool area just isn’t big enough. We tried to use the pool 3 times but unless you get there before the sun comes out, you won’t find a lounger. It still wouldn’t stop me returning because everything else is amazing and you have the best beach 5 mins walk from your room.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway with the friendly Valet to the moment we went and checked in by one of the nicest young men I have encountered in hospitality, then all the nice staff and facilities whilst we were there . The whole stay was an absolute pleasure. We had made a mistake by booking the wrong date at another motel and by chance I thought I would try the QT. To say it was a blessing was an understatement. We went from feeling disheartened to being treated with such care. I can not thank all of the team at the QT Gold Coast enough for giving us such a wonderful weekend full of happy memories.

Great styling. Good mix of food. Fab to have a cafe for breakfast take-away with healthy food like smoothies and acai bowls. Dyson hairdryer was excellent. Nespresso machine was great.

The sink. It is very poorly designed and should be replaced. You cannot fit you face over the bowl as the spout sticks out too much and the sink is tucked into the wall too much. If you wash your face or even your hands water ends up on the floor and on your clothes. The lack of door for the shower also means too much water ends up on the floor and the foot towel gets drenched. A spare foot towel should be given to every room so that there is always a dry one available for the next person after a shower. A couple of complimentary cookies would have been nice with the Nespresso coffee.

The staff were so lovely and nothing was too much for them . We got a very warm welcome and the team were so kind to us , a big tribute to the staff . The cleaners made our beds daily and placed the kids teddies on there which made their day , its the smallest things that mean so much when you are holidaying. I would definitely return as we loved our stay . A special thank you to Robert on the desk ( I think that was his name ) , as we had a stressful time getting there ) and nothing was too much trouble Thanks so much:)
