Attention to detail and lots of little treats and special touches to the rooms, the breakfast delivered to our rooms was delicious the whole experience was extremely comfortable and welcoming. The Owners were passionate about their unique accommodation experience . You could see and experience the love and dedication they both had towards the property.

We loved everything 🙌 ……. but if you could leave the doors to the balcony open(no mozi /insect screen) you could listen to the rain and the birds singing in the morning whilst snuggled in the most comfy bed.. COULDNT COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING 🤩

This was a really enjoyable stay. It was exactly as described and we had a beautiful room overlooking the river. The extra facilities within the room could not be faulted, it had lots of little extra's and the hosts have really thought of everything. The breakfast was fit for royalty and Phil did an amazing job; you could tell he was a professional chef. There was so much choice and the baby quiche were to die for. Friendly, welcoming and a unique one in a kind guest house; my husband and I could not recommend Bli Bli guest house enough. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be visiting again! On another note, we accidentally left an item in the room and the guest house went above and beyond to return the item to us; which was way out of the scope of what they needed to do.

Right from our first contact we were welcomed like family. The house was wonderfully decorated and our room was a super size, comfortable and had everything we needed - even some special treats. The lolly and slice trolley in the guest lounge was always stocked with wonderful items. The buffet breakfast was superb as was the breakfast delivered on the trolley on Monday morning. The location on the riverbank was perfect and there was plenty of seating along the riverbank. The views from our private veranda was another special treat.

We didn't like having to leave - but if you don't leave you can't come back next time!!

Breakfast was stunning, with every option imaginable provided with smiles from chef Phil and hostess Merryl. This couple certainly know how to do B&B's - and it is no coincidence they have won two Australian awards and are now Hall of Famers. Their attention to detail is second to none -we have never stayed at such a beautiful and stunning property with such outstanding superlative service. From the decor to the spa bath to the four poster king-size beds, this place needs seeing to be believed. We will be back.

Nothing disappointed, although be very, very careful on the beautiful boardwalk along the river bank. My wife slipped on the slippery boards in the light rain, even though we were warned it would be slippery and to stay to the grass. In other words, our fault.

Bli Bli House is a beautifully restored 19th century house richly furnished with Victorian-era furniture and antiques. The hosts Merryl and Phil are incredibly welcoming and helpful, and very respectful of guests’ privacy during their stay. Our room was very clean and well maintained. The property was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent and freshly made on site. We were really impressed by all the extra amenities available, from a media room and library, a guest lounge, and even a sweets trolley. Bli Bli is conveniently located and is only a 15 minute drive to the beaches.

My husband and I have a busy personal and working lives. Staying at Bli Bli House was exactly what we needed. Meryl is the ultimate hostess. She is welcoming and makes you feel like coming home. As my parents live overseas, it was a lovely nostalgic feeling to feel like you're visiting family. The facility is absolutely gorgeous. I recommend if you want some R & R and meet generally good and wonderful people, do not hesitate to book a weekend or a week at Bli Bli House, you won't regret it.

I cannot express our gratitude enough! Merryl & Phil provided such a memorable and enjoyable experience. They went above and beyond all expectations, paying attention to the smallest details like providing complimentary snacks, hotel slippers, robes and other amenities, to serving the most delicious buffet breakfast which were all inclusive. We were brought back in time and felt like we were in Venice again but from the level of care and consideration that Bli Bli House provided, we would go back there over Venice any day. We can’t recommend this property enough! The furniture and property are beautiful plus they had a cinema room, pool table, foosball table, library and so many DVD’s to choose from, all at your disposal on the top floor. They also provided so many other free snacks like an array of high tea sweets and chocolates available 24/7, plus pod coffee and drip coffee for all palates. We are so appreciative of the love and care these hosts gave us. Thank you for the best stay we’ve ever had!

liked- the attention to detail overall in the decor liked - the very generous breakfast suggest - having the wifi log-in details in each room suggest - having a non-dairy milk as an option for breakfast

There was nothing we didn't like - just things that may be tweaked - see above The decor verged on the fussy - this is a risk when choosing "Victoriana", but it was nicely done. We might have chosen to turn off the aircon during sleeping - but without insect screens on the doors we feared that insects would fly in.

Serene setting by the river. Beautiful historic house restored with period features. High standard of furnishings and decor. Rooms spacious with sitting area, kitchenette, four poster bed, large ensuite and balcony overlooking the river. High standard of cleanliness. Common lounge area available with coffee machine and a well stocked cake trolley of goodies. Very nice owner.

Bed too firm for my liking but that is a personal preference.

A wonderful experience on every level. Such a great value and such fabulous hosts. You've got other property-owners up in Maleny & Montville trying to charge $800/night (or more) just to stay in a run-down Granny-flat with zero inclusions. Here in Bli Bli you feel like you've escaped to an opulent room somewhere in Tasmania, NZ or the UK... with generous touches of food and amenities throughout. Not to mention a PROPER hot breakfast! Brilliant. We'll be back.
